"Absolutely fantastic, my son is coeliac and has a burger and the hot fudge sundae and said it was the best meal he’d ever had. Everything came out with flags in and the manager came to discuss everything and explain how it’s cooked. Probably our best GF experience in a non dedicated restaurant!"

"mash. However, upon visiting the cafe, I was disappointed to find that the pies were actually just pre-made frozen ones that were heated up in a microwave. The mash was bland and tasteless, and the overall experience was far from what I had expected. I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a true taste of traditional pie & mash."

"I visited Porkys with my dad and brother for my brother’s birthday. My brother is autistic and so is very particular about noise, what he eats etc. Porkys were great. We had some very tasty nachos, that weren’t lacking on the toppings like in some places. One portion was enough for three of us. The boys had tasty bacon burgers and chips and I had a huge but delicious Cajun catfish. Service was friendly, it was a Tuesday night at 6pm so not much ambience but that was perfect for my brother. I would definitely recommend."

"We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant filled with an abundance of meat! It was a good thing we made a reservation for 8pm on a Friday night, as we witnessed others being told there was a wait. We opted for the sharing meat platter and added three additional sides, which ended up being more than enough for the three of us! The food was delicious and the service was excellent (make sure to ask for the dessert board to enhance your dining experience). The only drawbacks were that the macaroni and cheese lacked flavor and the beer was only available in either half-pints or two-pint jugs."

"Absolute disgusting treatment from the staff. We had a booking for 12 people including 7 children for a family meal before xmas, apparently a fake pot plant got knocked over so the staff stopped serving us at 8:30 and throw the plant across the bar area in a temper, we spent a lot of money there to be treated so disgusting. This is clearly not a family friendly place to take your children as you are treated so poorly. I would not recommend for a family or children or infact a group meal. Disgusting staff and treatment."

"Really wanted the Lamb shank but due to dexterity issues I would have had problems cutting the meat from the bone. Our waitress, Tikara said the bone could be removed, then asked if it would be helpful if the meat could be cut up for me, plus anything else I would have trouble with. This help from the kitchen meant I could enjoy my meal without struggle or embrassement. If Tikara hadn't suggested this help I would have chosen something else. The lamb was cooked to perfection. So abig thank you to her the Bulls Head. Came here the other Monday, Tikara again was our waitress. As a person with disabilities all the staff are welcoming I cannot thank them enough. But can we have a few more disabled parking bays please."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"An absolute Slum .... there was a group of about 8 women in .. I was surprised as it seemed all of there Tattoo's were spelt correctly.... one of them had 5 teeth ... that was quite a lot really for that group... Our visit was about 8pm on a Friday night..the 2 doorman did tell these women off .. as every other word ...they seemed to be screaming Swear words... Soo pleased to get out LoL"

"Somewhat reminiscent of the very chic Restaurant L'Elephant in Ibiza, this new addition to the Clapham bar restaurant scene has left me a bit undecided. We tried it on a perfect sunny Spring day, which certainly helped give it a cool holiday vibe gorgeous sunshine pouring into the room making the all white interior and sparkly furnishings seem refreshing and different for the neighbourhood. It has a small terrace at the front with doors onto the street, which again gives it a relaxed, slightly mediterranean ish, atmosphere. The food was ok, bit bland and nothing special at all (probably done on the cheap), but pleasant enough and hit the spot. Sitting just next to the terrace on a high table in the sunshine reading the paper was a lovely way to spend a Sunday morning. However, something about the place doesn't make me want to give it any more than 3 stars. Without the sunshine it would have been a totally different experience I couldn't imagine visiting this place during the winter. It will probably only work on a sunny day to keep the holiday vibe alive and excuse the tacky decor around the edges. I can also imagine the white sofas and chairs looking grubby in about 3 weeks, and it being full of WAGS! The crowd this morning were quite relaxed, but I fear that won't last. So all in all I like what they are trying to do, especially as I love L'Elephant, but my worry is that it will become a magnet for a certain type of punter, which if you know I mean by that, it may not be your kind of place! If you can see through the fake glitz of the furniture, the mediocre food, and enjoy the perfectly reasonable latte, you'll have a nice time."

"The Rising Sun at Beltinge served all the folk who came along from the HB Dining Group last night. What a lovely meal, all 3 courses where extremely well presented (they looked so nice it was a shame to eat them) and tasted so good. With such a large group of us (20/30) well done for getting the food out in good time. Service was outstanding and we had a lovely night with great food and social chatter. "I visited Epping Wildwood on September 2nd. The food was delicious, and our brunette waitress provided excellent service. However, my experience was spoiled by the behavior of the female manager with blonde hair, who repeatedly spoke disrespectfully to the waitress in front of customers. She used phrases such as 'What is your problem' and 'What are you doing,' which made the waitress feel small and created an uncomfortable atmosphere for us. If this is how they treat their staff, I would not recommend this establishment to anyone. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant was not even a quarter full, and I can only imagine how she treats the staff during busier times. On a positive note, I did speak with another male manager who was sympathetic and promised to address the issue. I would like to escalate this matter further."

"I have been looking forward to going to this place for a long time as it’s local to me. On entry I did feel like it was an issue to the staff that I am exempt from wearing a facial covering even though I was...wearing a lanyard and a badge stating that I’m exempt. We were seated and showed the menus and ordered a good Sunday roast. When the food came out and the vegetables came out afterwards we asked is this for both of us or is the single portion they said it was for both of us but it was smaller than what one person might eat so complained and they brought out more vegetables for us which was very nice. The beef tasted amazing although the horseradish sauce was not necessary as it ruined the flavour that the beef which was seasoned greatly already. The vegetables seem to be dry like they’ve been cooked earlier but been sitting on a hot plate. My partner had the chicken with salsa Verde which was a little bit strange she did moan about the vegetables; Kale and beetroot are not your regular Sunday roast accoutrement. I went to the men’s toilet and all the urinals were overfilled no signage saying that the toilets are broken also the hand dryer didn’t work. After the meal we complained to our server about the things that we felt were amiss and he said he had to report to his manager also tried to say that they couldn’t get a plumber to fix the toilet. in my opinion they should have at least cordoned off the toilets and made alternative arrangements. When it came to paying the bill we asked to leave specific amounts including a tip after paying the first half and then the second half we were informed we couldn’t leave a tip via card no cash even though we had requested to do so prior to payment. Not rushing back here, have had so much better everywhere else. I do wonder how businesses stay afloat!!"

"Been there couple of times. Food was absolutely amazing, but service have some room for improvement. Orders were wrong both times and you are left to yourself for a long time. They clean your plates, but no one come for 30 min to offer either desserts or bill to pay. We had to go to the bar and ask for it ourselves even though there was only 3 4 tables to serve and every other table was empty. Please be careful if you have any food allergies! Person with nuts allergy has been served dessert with nuts sprinkled all over even though we said they have the allergy. On a busy day you will wait for your main course and dessert 3 hours. Not busy day we have waited 2 hours for one course meal and a bill."

"Great place but don’t go there during peak hours for the chicken wing challenge you don’t get served fast enough. We hit 30 wings and the table next to us hit 45. We struggled to get served at points had to stand up to get attention to get more service, just avoid being stuck in the corner.
