"Food was delicious, service was not. Got my order wrong and didn’t notice until after (ordered rump was given ribeye, £7 price difference I think, although I should have checked the bill before paying) had to go up to the bar to order drinks, once I was there I had to wait for the barman to finish stacking and cleaning cups before he would serve me, cups clearly had priority! Also ended up ordering pudding at the bar, 3 people behind bar, I then had to wait and once someone spoke to me they told me to go and speak to one of the other 2 serving. Also saw bar manager and person working behind the bar have an argument, not very professional and should happen behind closed doors. Other than that I had a lovely meal but was let down by the service, also would have chosen not to tip as I feel that the £14 (and extra £7 for the steak I didn’t order) were robbed from me, but I’m not the person to make a fuss over £14. Again lovely food lovely pub, questionable staff who need to re-evaluate the importance of the customer! (The same bar manager who argued was also very nice and very friendly, great with his whiskey but let himself down by arguing in front of customers)"

"I visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning for an early breakfast. The atmosphere was simple and clean. Unfortunately, none of the staff greeted me when I arrived. I sat down, looked at the menu, and made my choices without any acknowledgment. When I placed my order, a grumpy employee came out from behind the counter, took my menu without a word, and placed it on the seat across from me. I prefer to read menus thoroughly, so I picked it back up. Despite the lack of communication, the food was delicious and the coffee was great. If you don't mind being ignored and are just looking for good food, this place is for you. It's a shame that the service was lacking. Remember, a smile is free."

"Ordered 2 salad boxes at a cost of £15! Asked for extra ham and extra cheese came with 3 small pieces of something pretending to be ham and small scoop of cheese The other was to be a tuna extra tuna and cheese salad extra cheese and salad cream (came with no cheese or tomato or salad cream) Basically a can of tuna on a bed of lettuce Took an hour to arrive and was terrible! Rang the shop to try and sort it out for 30 minutes and no one picked up Pathetic service and pathetic food I do have pics but doesn't appear to be an option to share. Won't be using again"

"My partner and I walked a total of four miles to eat at La Plata Steakhouse, and it was worth the trip. We were warmly greeted on arrival by Joe, who was friendly, personable and obviously knows his steaks. The Sirloin steaks that we both had were very tasty and cooked to perfection and the accompanying sides were very good as well.The steaks were some of the best steaks we have eaten in the UK. We will definitely eat here again next time we are in the area. Thanks for looking after us so well Joe."

"My husband and I had a great time at the Woodman Pub last night. We ordered the Haddock and chips and the Burger with chips, both of which were delicious. The chips were particularly tasty. The fish was fresh and flavorful, although the burger was a little dry. The atmosphere was nice and the pub was beautifully decorated, especially the ceiling adorned with floral material. One area for improvement could be better communication in regards to table reservations, as our reserved table was given to another party who had booked earlier. Despite this small hiccup, we had a wonderful evening and will likely come back, as the pub is conveniently located and a great spot for drinks, dinner, and live music. Ray and Sherry."

"We were disappointed with The Woodman which has, in the past, always been so so good. Firstly, we were told that we hadn’t booked an outdoor table despite showing the actual booking which confirmed that we did; the outside table that we were given/dumped on couldn’t have been smaller and wobbled whilst we sat and watched couples we were three being given huge tables for four. Eventually, we took it upon ourselves to move to a bigger table and were seen at our new table very quickly. The lemonade brought to my daughter turned out to be soda water; eventually she was brought a tiny bottle of Fever Tree as they had run out of lemonade ! which she couldn’t drink as it’s not really aimed at 11 year olds. My first two choices of Main Dish were unavailable, my third choice “meh” but the kids enjoyed their burgers very much. The pub was busy as it was a nice, sunny Sunday as well as Father’s Day and staff seemed totally run off their feet but trying to make eye contact with them meant that we waited longer for the bill than we did for the food."

"We used a Groupon and enjoyed 2 meals. I agree paying the full price is a bit silly. We had a double burger each, I opted for cheddar cheese and egg as extras, fat chips and a bottomless drink (help yourself from the machine). The burgers were very satisfying. They look and taste like real meat, not a frozen patty. Fillings were juicy and fresh. Chunky chips were ok and bottomless drinks a bit funny, I think they had too much syrup. The service was exceptionally nice and polite. We are fans of Dubai branch of this institution and shared with the staff who were suitably impressed. I would go again if there was an offer on, the meal filled me up for 24h!"

"before my naked famous concert there were some time to kill, so I went into the seemingly busy – and popular – fatburger in camden town. as it was on Tuesday, there was a special promotion with an additional plump with each burger. yes! I went for the crispy chicken sandwich and a side of the fat fries but disappointment! there was about a minute waiting for the food and when it arrived, it looked good, but it didn't taste good. the chicken has a crispy, fried crispy and inside was meat, but it was bone dry with not a single sense of a juice. more mayo (or even salate, I dare to say) was urgently needed and the riders also suffered the same problems, it was dry and a hard eating. "We visited with our kids who were hungry on 26th August 2023. We started to order due to it being busy and it seemed there was a trainee staff who was serving us. We started to place our order during the time we were using your Burger King app to avail the latest discounts on the Vegan Royal. We were ordering 4 of them and also cheese bites. Due to the trainee staff not able to do it then, the more senior member of staff started to help. When we were placing the order we asked why we have to place separate orders instead of put through as a one order, we were not aware of the process due to in London and Leeds we place one order instead of a separate payment. I am not sure what time of mood she was in that she refused to serve us even through we did advised we have kids and we just wanted to know why, she was saying we are difficult customer and raising voice which we didn’t, even my wife mentioned to her that’s it not the case, we wanted to know the reason only. She was reduced to serving. During that time she left inside, took her name badge out and came back to the floor mentioning that she will not serve us. At the same time all the members of the staff took the name badges out and refused to give the name of the person in charge but later one gave her name out FAUZIA. All staff members said they cannot serve because she is incharge and we cannot serve and neither allowed to give the name out, even the security guards came over aggressively and then calmed down knowing the situation it was a miss understanding from the staff and asked them the manager to serve but still adamant about it, did not served and we have to leave with hungry kids which was showing that staff and manager didn’t cared, dress code etc was not followed, badge was not on and you can see the aggressive behavior and expression on her face from the image."
