"This restaurant is small and cozy, with a welcoming atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and took the time to chat with us. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The menu isn't very extensive, but everything on it is delicious and it was hard to choose. The cuisine is very typical Arab, as far as I can tell. We tried 3-4 dishes for starters and mains, and the food was incredible! It was so fresh and flavorful. We don't live anywhere near Southport, but we will definitely be visiting Fig Bistro again in the future."

"very pleasant lunch in the brasserie with some friends. we had octopus, goat cheese salad and caprese salat as appetizers. all delicious and very beautiful presented. as if I had fish and chips since I hadn't had it for ever. great choice, very well cooked as I like it. also the team was so courteous that there was no problem to frying **** to garden bears and thick cut chips. all well recommended."

"The service was particularly slow during our visit. We were the only customers in the restaurant, yet it took more than an hour for our meal to arrive. When the food finally did come, it was only lukewarm. The two servers seemed unfamiliar with the menu and had to check with the chef multiple times about what was available. Overall, the food was highly overpriced given the quality."

"I visited for lunch with 6 friends a few weeks ago, and was treated to an amazing spread by the owner and his family. Not knowing much about Lebanese food we gave the staff free rein to provide food for us all. We were treated to a fantastic assortment of dishes, dips, and bread to share, every bit of which was completely delicious. My favourite was the baba ganoush which was so smokey and flavourful, and the falafel which was herby and zingy, but chatting over our feast each one of my friends had a different fave. The cafe was super cosy and the staff were a delight, we had a wonderful lunch and will definitely be back again."

"Came here for New Years after the fireworks with my friends and this is my first time. Shisha was good and was decent price at £15. Lamb shawarma was really nice and recommended. Overall experience was good and my reason for 3 stars. The bill they gave was taking the **** and I had to argue with them. Firstly tried to charge a service charge for New Years when it says no where in the restaurant and apparently mangers said there a service charge for everyone. Secondly tried to charge extra £5 for the shisha as New Years prices but didn’t explain this before hand. Eventually sorted it out but in my opinion they are taking advantage of vulnerable people."
