"We went to celebrate my Husband’s birthday. We booked outdoor seating but due to weather we couldn’t sit outside. But the inside ambiance was equally good. Lady who served us was very kind and friendly. Limited choice on Menu but Lovely food and not overly priced. Staff was very warm and welcoming. Enjoyed the evening."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem located in the center of Didsbury village. It is operated by a father and son duo from Nantwich who started this establishment about three years ago."

"This was a last minute booking so didn't have time to research other reviews, but I wish I did. The food was awful! Had to send back the cod fish balls due to one being cremated. We were met with disdain when explaining that we could not eat it. The goat was tough and undercooked with no gravy it was basically soup. The service was awful apart from the bartender. We walked out feeling robbed as the prices are astronomical compared to the portion sizes and quality. Will never return"

"We booked an early evening table on a Saturday. On arrival we were led to the restaurant in the hotel but the only waiter was busy in the next room so we stood around for a while before being acknowledged. He was unaware of the booking (it had been made in the morning) but sat us down at a table of our choice. There was only one other table seated. We we're left with the menu and when the waiter returned for our drinks order we asked if they had a cocktail list. He replied that cocktails are only available if ordered at the hotel bar. When we ordered food it took an age for them to arrive and we were getting peckish so asked the waiter if we could get some bread and butter while waiting. There were side plates and butter knives on the table. After another slow 10 minutes the waiter brought us two slices of toast and a few packets of butter each which made us laugh and slightly concerned about what lay ahead. Fortunately the starters and mains were pleasantly flavorsome. When we asked for the bill after declining desserts the bill was not discounted and the waiter had to take a photo of my reservation on my phone before going into another room and producing the correct bill. After dinner we went over to the bar which looked great with it's refurbished holding cells and jail theme. All in all, nice food, nice dining room shame no one seems to be going."

"The Old Frizzle is a recent addition to Wimbledon, part of a chain with several pubs across South West London. When I first saw the building, which used to be a Walkabout, I was hesitant about trying the food. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the diverse and affordable menu. I enjoyed a pot-roasted chicken breast with Imam Bayildi (though more like ratatouille) and rice, while my friend had a satisfying cheeseburger with hot chips. We skipped dessert, as the options didn't appeal to us, but I would return to try the crumb with cornflake ice cream. Overall, I would definitely go back to The Old Frizzle, as it is a welcome addition to the culinary scene in Wimbledon."

"Unfortunately the service was not the best. When we arrived there was no person to greet us but then someone appeared from another section and advised us to to talk to the Server who would seat us (we had made a reservation). However our booking was not on their systems despite us showing them our confirmation email; a party of 6 came in and also had the same issue. We were seated but not given the correct menu and we realised that we were in another restaurant which was linked to Shebang but completely different menu and we now realise why our booking was not on their systems. However Shebang redeemed itself as the food was excellent..... The waiting staff were not; they just placed the bill now and did not allow us an opportunity to advise that we had a voucher and we had to wait several minutes after he had given us the bill to explain this which resulted in him then having to give us a rectified bill and encountering a further wait. Staff did not bother to explain that we were in the wrong restaurant despite being directed there. However as stated the food was EXCELLENT and we would go again for sure but will not have any expectations regarding the staff sorry"

"I recently returned to the Rosewood London for a four-day stay, and once again had breakfast at the Mirror Room each day. I must say, you will not find a better breakfast dining experience in London. The room itself, along with the decor and table settings, are absolutely beautiful. Each day, we were warmly welcomed by a hostess, a lovely young lady who always had a smile on her face and a can-do attitude. She seated us each day, although I unfortunately do not know her name, I want to express my gratitude. The servers and all other staff in the Mirror Room were exceptional in their service and attentiveness, and their great attitude did not go unnoticed. Thank you all once again. And of course, the food was simply amazing each time we dined there. The flavors were delicious and the presentation on the plate was top-notch, making each meal even more special. On behalf of my family, thank you to everyone for making our stay so wonderful."
