"We booked an early evening table on a Saturday. On arrival we were led to the restaurant in the hotel but the only waiter was busy in the next room so we stood around for a while before being acknowledged. He was unaware of the booking (it had been made in the morning) but sat us down at a table of our choice. There was only one other table seated. We we're left with the menu and when the waiter returned for our drinks order we asked if they had a cocktail list. He replied that cocktails are only available if ordered at the hotel bar. When we ordered food it took an age for them to arrive and we were getting peckish so asked the waiter if we could get some bread and butter while waiting. There were side plates and butter knives on the table. After another slow 10 minutes the waiter brought us two slices of toast and a few packets of butter each which made us laugh and slightly concerned about what lay ahead. Fortunately the starters and mains were pleasantly flavorsome. When we asked for the bill after declining desserts the bill was not discounted and the waiter had to take a photo of my reservation on my phone before going into another room and producing the correct bill. After dinner we went over to the bar which looked great with it's refurbished holding cells and jail theme. All in all, nice food, nice dining room shame no one seems to be going."

Only ones in restaurant on a Friday evening! Waitress pleasant but had no knowledge of anything on menu!

The chicken from the relatively small menu was delicious and offered a generous portion. On the other hand, we found the lamb dish presented on a slate to be quite meager. While the puree accompanying it was delightful, overall, it didn't provide good value for money. Even for a light lunch, the portion size was disappointing.

I was very pleased with my experience. It was wonderfully quiet, just as I had hoped, allowing for great conversation or simply the enjoyment of well-presented and delicious food. Although I didn't see the à la carte menu, I was quite impressed with the dishes we ordered. The service was prompt and courteous. The venue itself is beautiful and has a quirky charm. I definitely recommend it to anyone who appreciates a tranquil atmosphere. View menu

I had a delightful experience at Judge Jury. The atmosphere was pleasantly quiet, making it easy to engage in enjoyable conversations and fully appreciate the delicious food, which was beautifully presented with a touch of flair. Although I didn't explore the à la carte menu, I was genuinely impressed by the attentive service, which was both prompt and courteous. The restaurant features lovely and unique decor, ideal for anyone who values a serene dining experience.

The service was attentive, fast, and polite. The place is clean, spacious still compact. The decoration is unique, depends on personal preference. Unfortunately, the good things end here. The quality of the food was not up to standard; the hummus was too liquid, the tomato and the salad had no taste. The fish was well cooked but the skin was soggy. The salmon's texture was mushy. All in all, they could use better ingredients and should be more generous with spices. Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

We made a reservation for Valentine's Day and expected to receive the Valentine's menu, but the manager provided us with the regular menu instead. When we inquired about the Valentine's menu, the waiter said he would get the manager. I couldn't help but wonder if they assumed we weren't a couple because we are both men. Regardless, the manager was very apologetic and attentive afterwards. Overall, the service felt a bit chaotic, and the other two waitstaff seemed inexperienced. Our meal was just okay, but it wasn't particularly romantic. The dining room had a charming ambiance. View menu

The restaurant opened recently and because of that it probably needs a little more time to get things right? We thought the food was average , the menu actually a bit boring, nothing overly exciting. There were enough waiters and only a few tables were sold, but they hardly paid attention to us. (They cleared after we finished our mains but we were left alone for almost 20 minutes before anyone offered us coffee or dessert). But most annoying was that the waiter 'forgot ' the special soft-opening rate of 50% discount. We knew when we booked there would be a special rate, which was clearly posted online and there was a big screen at the restaurants entrance as well inviting people for the spe...
