"first thought when going in portobello garden arcade: we will really fit here. before they visit, foresight: the place is tiny, and fills quite quickly. when they wait for a table, they are condemned to stand outside; it could not be exactly what they hope, unless it is the middle of the summer. the good news is that they may not have to wait so long: this is a restaurant that attracts far larger quantities and queues when it was a bit bigger, or easier to see from the main road. at the moment it could be one of the best secrets of the portobello road; so well maintained, I recently discovered it, although I have lived in the opposite for three years. I visited the week before Christmas and found the place decorated with panettone and pandoro boxes everywhere. they even hang on the deck. woah', said the three colleagues with whom I was together, that is so pretty. woah', I said, are the ones for sale. I have turned my eyes off before the cake-yellow sandwiches have entered, but contradictory attempt is not an option in it: it was not long before I discovered the counter at the bottom of the room, where most of the if they are not hungry when they get in, they will be at the time they order./ encouraged by what I had just seen, I thought that I had the mozzarella, prosciutto, rakete and carasau brotplatte (simply, but fulfilling, a reliable favorit of me) or a shining, mozzarella and aubergine sandwich with promising. it was an ice age free day, but I went for a warm, hearty head: wild boar ravioli, from the daily special menu./ the ravioli came with much rich, smooth tomato sauce. they can hardly go wrong with pasta with sauce, but that was the superpowerful type. I could hardly taste the meat that felt disappointing, as the filling is the best part of a ravioli recipe for me. I loved the smoked ricotta dip, although: I don't often see that enough in london. I would smoke on all my pasta stuff if I could find a load that sells it. I should have asked where they come from, damned./ one of my colleagues ordered kartoffelgnocchi with bark meat ragù. he was impressed by the gnocchi; not so much with the spicing what he claimed to miss a kick. even from outside it looked overly rich in tomatenpassata and poor in bark. the meat was cut into large pieces, and, as I said, a bit too fat for a sauce ingredient./ another colleague ordered oktopussalat and was very happy with it. she can't eat gluten, so she gave us that side bread. we were fast to sneak it, and my enthusiasm over warm brot was quickly faded, as I realized it was garlic bread. I don't know who has spread the word that garlauchbrot is unmistakable italian, but that must stop now. Garlauchbrot is not a thing; simple brot that we can dive in olive oil (which is also on the menu, by the way), served with a kind of spread, ot is just eating on own faust, we rub garlic on bread, sometimes but that is to make bruschetta, which is a completely different thing. no more demanding Italian I know how garlic bread. some do not even know that it exists because they bless, they have never eaten the restitution of the British food./ total: portobello garden arcade makes more convincing eating than the average cheap Italian restaurant in london, but their dishes could be much closer to what they would actually eat in italia. I could be disappointed; I don't choose to be. I went for a decent, warm, hearty eating and got exactly that as well as a mood boost thanks to the warm, lively atmosphere of the restaurant. I wouldn't mind coming back and trying another court."

Scoopz Ice Cream

"I have been a customer of scoopz for over 10 years. Tonight has got to be the worse service ever. I am honestly so angry and so upset because I enjoyed coming to scoopz. After tonight I will no longer be making my services available. The new staff member has no idea on how to handle customer service. There were two ladies in work tonight and one was a blonde girl the other with long ginger hair. The girl with ginger hair was really not bothered in the slightest she took 15 minutes to make one milkshake (no exaggeration). Despite the long queue outside she carried on taking her time. In the space of 30 minutes of me waiting in the queue she lost out on 15 odd customers who decided to walk away due to how slowly the line was going. I waited in the queue for 30 minutes and when it hit 10.30pm the ladies promised they will still serve the customers who had been waiting. When we finally got into the shop the ginger girl said that she was no longer making milkshakes and they had to go home. She did not care that because of how slowly she was working people were waiting so long and despite being so patient only to be told after 30 minutes of waiting that she will not serve us. I am so outraged and never experienced something such bad service in my life. I get the ginger girl was new and this is why we remained patient. However, 10 years in the customer service industry I do not think she should be carried on being employed. She has lost so much business today and lost so many customers in one day only to think how much she is tarnishing your reputation. I came for a milkshake, waited 30 minutes to be told they are closing when they knew we had been waiting. I will no longer be going to scoopz and urge the rest of you to save your time too as it is not worth it. So upsetting."

"for a culinary tasty spitalfields has always represented for me. androuet, blixen and la pietra are a few who have touched my taste buds. close to living and working, it is unavoidable that I will have a walk through the market and my request for food will be fulfilled by a snack here. the wright brothers were on my list. I follow their Instagram feed and love the tantalizing food recordings and bag of personality have their posts. in the did, I think that more and more, instagram influences my decision where to dine. it is not always easy or cost-effective to book a photographer to improve their website gallery, so that instagram helps to cut corners in a visual, up to the current and effective way. last year, she left on her food gallery in comparison to a fast snap on her smartphone of the special of the day on her Instagram feed. I urge the gastwirte to truly embrace this kind of marketing. as always, back to review. wright brothers in spitalfields is filled with an older, intelligent serious amount. it is only important that they know if they are a bart, thin jeans and are a little more shoreditch than city. that said it doesn't make any difference, because it's in the middle of it. we tried to lunch and although we had not made a reservation, we were squeezed in. one thing I have to note that it was busy, but the waitress while she serves one table and recognizes another who practically snapped her finger on attention, nodded us the way to tell us that she would be in a second with us. this type of rolling to cheer, reminds me of the old school service, when the front of the home team saw this industry really as a career route, in contrast to gap fillers / travelling jobs. it brings them to lightness and flea mouse, they know they are in good hands. After we sat with menus, we asked for a few straightening and she continued to blow our thoughts further by knowing exactly what was in the board, as it was suggested and presented. we were sold. it was literally a breath of fresh air. I rarely talk about the service in restaurants, unless it is particularly bad, since most of the time it is easy to fit and not worth mentioning. that was the bar for all future places I'm going to surpass. I don't hold my breath. we went for the express punch menu, which is worth money with 2 curses for £21.00 or 3 courses for £25.00 the portion sizes are not rational, they are actually left at the top. for beginners I had places achovies, with shaved winter bites and cut-off. sam (not me or who lives in essex) had graceburn feta, pomelo and cashew nuts salat. the specificity here is seafood, but I just wanted to add that they do steak so that meat lovers are not let out. for the main course it was a ugly garnel filled burger with chips and chipotle mayo for sam and a multil mushroom rich wild garlic mushroom tagliatelle. Yeah, it was rocking. we were good with our decision to come here, because that was excellent. during the meal, the service continues attentive and on point. real smile and intention to help. I highly recommend visiting this one or other place. they have definitiw dinge I'm sorry, right!"
