"Lovely little restaurant perfect for a cosy meal or catch up with friends. Went here for valentines, service was friendly but we felt it was rather slow for a place that wasnât overly packed. Have been informed that there is only one chef so this makes it more understandable. I have been here before at lunchtimes with friends and the overall atmosphere has been much better so maybe this was just a one off the food was not quite as nice as I expected but it has been better before so Iâm guessing itâs all personal taste! Overall would reccomend to people and hopefully LiAise will continue to prosper!"

"I had one of the worst dining experiences that I actually told reception and the manager. I booked and got there and was told just sit anywhere! No menu was given to me and the wait staff disappeared. I had to put my had up a few times and verbally ask if someone could please get me a menus. Then it was a wait to order which I didn't mind so much as they usually give time to decide. My meal came and it was very average huge pieces of smoked salmon just layed over the top of the Caesar Salad but it was ok. Unfortunately that was the last that I saw of any staff members. I was there for 8pm booking until 9.39 and no sign of anyone asking if I would like dessert or even the bill! I had to go walk to the bar and wait (no one there either) to pay. In hindsight I could have just walked out! As a solo traveller it makes me feel like I my custom is not wanted. I know taking a table for one means less money less ordered but it shouldn't be made this obvious that it's not ok to be single. I usually tip big but not this time. Will not be staying there again"
