"(This is a takeway fish and chip shop rather than a restaurant). We called into the here on the way home from an evening in Cheltenham where we'd expected to be eating. Was getting towards the end of the evening but owners were friendly and welcoming, and there was no problem in ordering what we wanted and it being cooked for us. My husband also commented on the curry they had on the hot plate and was told it was a homemade chicken curry and was offered and accepted a sample of this. It said it was delicious and he would definitely go back to have the curry next time. There was a short wait whilst our food was cooked but that meant it was obviously fresh. The portions were a generous size and the fish was very tasty. There is an award winning bigger chippy not so far from this one, but from our experience the food on offer here is better and definitely better value. We'll be going back when we next want our fish chip fix."
