The best fish and chips in Cheltenham! Everything is freshly cooked and the mushy peas and homemade curry sauce are delicious.

Take your order on the website, confirm it, say it’s being prepared and 3/4 hour later get a message to saying no drivers! And you can have you money back in 3 to 5 days! Joke ring and get no sense from them. Avoid at all costs!!!!

I have been twice, pick up both times. The first time I tried the code not good, tired, dry, grey tasteless. Chips are pretty good though the large bag should keep you going for a week or so. Will keep going back for chips and mushy peas.

We enjoyed the most amazing Fish and Chips we have ever had at this restaurant. The food was cooked to order and was worth the wait. The portion size was generous, with the fish hanging over the sides of the plate. We will definitely return to this place next time we are in Cheltenham and highly recommend it to others.

I read the reviews after I had feared the worst. came in more acceptable time over, chips were chewing on the outside, which was not unpleasant for me. The quality of this chippie has gone up and down over the years but it is now definitely going through one its good spells. Most food is cooked to order so you don't risk having something that has been sitting around a while. Couldn't fault my food nice crispy batter on both haddock and cod, lovely chips and decent mushy peas. And portions are huge. Don't go large unless you have an inhuman appetite I have a hearty appetite and can never finish a regular portion. Prices are very reasonable (about £7 for fish, chips and mushy peas). For me, every bit as good as a certain award winning chippie half a mile up the road and without their tiny portions!

My husband and I were in need of a quick and filling meal on our first night in the Cotswolds, so we decided to go for fish and chips. We had heard that Fairview was gluten intolerant friendly, so we decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, they only have special gluten free evenings on Tuesdays, but at least you can plan your visit accordingly. We stopped by on a Thursday, and I took a chance with the chips - luckily, I had no reaction. I am quite sensitive to gluten, but I was happy to have a meal without any issues. (This is a takeway fish and chip shop rather than a restaurant). We called into the here on the way home from an evening in Cheltenham where we'd expected to be eating. Was getting towards the end of the evening but owners were friendly and welcoming, and there was no problem in ordering what we wanted and it being cooked for us. My husband also commented on the curry they had on the hot plate and was told it was a homemade chicken curry and was offered and accepted a sample of this.
