"The ambiance at this restaurant is pleasing. However, we noticed that our orders were taken after another couple that arrived after us, so the service could be more attentive. The breakfast we had was delicious. While the menu didn't mention an option for turkey speck, they were willing to add it to our order or replace it with something else when we asked. They also offer soy milk as an alternative option. One negative aspect to note is the restroom, which definitely needs improvement. There was black mold on the walls, the room was very cold, and we even saw a cockroach scurrying across the floor, with the kitchen located right next to it."

"Absolutely disgusting food and service. Food arrived stone cold with hairs in. I politely called up asking if there was something that could be done as reheated chips doesn’t taste the best and I certainly don’t want to eat hair. We are regular customers and were really looking forward to our meal. The main man on the phone was SO abrupt and so rude. Quite shocked and upset tbh."

"We ordered take out for fish and chips on a Friday night. We waited 30 mins infront of the shop we signaled to the staff a few times that we were right in front of them to let us know when our food is ready....Not only did the food sit on the side while we waited and have to ask multiple times for our order, the staff was incredibly rude when I asked for extra tartar sauce. They insisted I pay 40p for one satchet and I told them I can only pay with card (not carrying cash, esp during the pandemic) they said there 's a £5 minimum and nothing else. Terrible service, long wait, rude staff. There 's plenty of other delicious fish and chip places on the same street."

"In search of a pick-me-up during lockdown, we decided to look online for a top-notch burger joint and were thrilled with our find! The order was ready promptly and the staff were welcoming. The food exceeded our expectations. The entire family raved about it, especially the Blue Moon burger and the Champion Chips. The menu offered a wide range of options, so we'll definitely be returning to try the items we missed out on this time. We highly recommend this place!"

"The owner of this takeaway needs to be taken out of this place. He verbally abused me all because I asked for my kebab to be served in a naan bread not pitta. When I received my kebab and opened it, it was pitta so kindly asked him if he could put in a naan bread (which I ordered) Well he lost the plot and tried telling me that I ordered a pitta, which I didn't, I was with 3 other people who also confirmed this. This man was very aggressive, and got up in my face. He then threw the kebab at me and told me to get out. Horrible person. Shouldn't be let look after a takeaway. Avoid this kip. Go to ziba or zagros, much much better."

"Had our first family meal out since before lockdown at Zouk Lounge last night and it was so worth waiting for! Lovely food, generous portions, great value (even without the 50% off scheme)...this is as close to proper, home-cooked Lebanese food as you'll find anywhere in this area.Our waitress was friendly, very polite and efficient. In fact, all the staff seem great and really keen to ensure your dining experience is positive. The owner clearly is genuinely passionate about and proud of his business and his enthusiasm is contagious. "I wish I could give more stars, but although I felt welcomed and was able to stay for over two hours without feeling rushed, my chicken pathia dish only had three small pieces of chicken (about the size of dice) swimming in a lot of sauce. It seemed like they might have been short on chicken that night, even though the restaurant wasn't busy, so it wasn't a matter of selling out. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly."

"Absolutely shameful service ordered a cheese and tomato pizza, which picked up with slices under the pizza and stuck to the box. called to explain the shop and the manager was nothing but rude and ignorant and said there was nothing he could do. so we then took the pizza to the store that is less than half a mile away and showed the staff....they didn't care and said it wasn't wrong there, but the delivery driver had admitted that they dropped the pizza before they did not deliver any refund or replace the pizza. Attitude is lively and they should definitely not run a kind of reataurant. AVOID!!! there are a million better places to order in Carlisle."
