"average eating, not very well presented my steak was just the steak and French pommes on plate, did not see very appetit. had to ask and pay for one of them who, when it came, was only a lot of salat red wobbles and tomaten. some homemade chips would be better than thin white pommes. choc fudge brownie was good and beginner ok. chicken fajitas good and beautiful homemade cakes. very quiet for a sat and that has not borrowed to a great atmosphere, although great if they want to chat. if she seems to go for the set menu as if a little less effort goes into the food. is rushed back as more beautiful places to eat in york. the service was ok."

"had a nice drink and a good meal here tonight. dear service from our waitress (checked top and blonde haare) eating came in a timely manner and was pissed hot! the chef has ammenated the menu I really appreciated. the personal has recorded the weather and it was incredibly busy. the level of the service was impeccable and could not blame. many thanks for a beautiful night x"

"I'm totally honest, the interieur is not the most beautiful, but the young who work there are really nice. it is their typical Chinese restaurant and they can definitely fix here. there were pretty bad reviews here, but we were at least 10 times and all were good experiences. the fact that they offer vegan options for my girlfriend is **** brilliant. we love this place!"

"great location on the main east snow town (upper richmond road) relatiw small 'ish' restaurant but absolutely delightful. could highly recommend the king prawn and duck court (both main dishes) very attentive, professional and courteous. great table / customer consciousness. decent selection of wines/beers for thai. in any case, they do not come back to complain / errors."

"DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Really unhappy with my experience at this Chinese takeaway, first of all they got the order completely wrong we asked for half salt and pepper chips with rice, we were given plain chips with rice. We ordered a SMALL TUB of curry sauce to go with the half/half. We got a £7 tub of curry sauce as well as a small tub of curry sauce the total order came to £25!!!! I am in disbelief. We called the takeaway to inform them that the order was wrong and the response we got was appalling. We were told that we were wrong and that we didn’t know what we were talking about. Any takeaway that cared about their customers would offer a refund…or at least the correct food that we ordered. They did absolutely nothing but argue with us on the phone. Will not be ordering from here again. Disgraceful service!!!"

"Been to chubby panda many times, but fir the last year, I stopped as the food had down down hill. As now in 2023 thought I give them another chance and this time the food was good. A big improvement from last year. Only thing now is prices have gone up like every where. Average meal for 2 people with soft drinks came to £75. "Ordered a takeaway last night, really disappointing again!! We had a sit in meal about 5 years ago and we thought it was very nice,but oh no they are not good at takeaway at all.....(Every takeaway we've had from here rubbish, ordered a chop suey roll one time ,was packed full of Julienne carrots! Disgusting thru in the bin!! ...Collected in time they said, only to be disgusted at what was basically a badly presented meal. Chicken balls nights before and reheated in microwave no doubt! Couldn't get a spoon thru them let alone my teeth! Spare ribs were not as I ordered came in a cardboard container ,inside was a soggy lettuce leaf with watery sugar and dehydrated ribs,with no meat on, inedible!! Looks like they took it off someone's plate in the restaurant and palmed it off on me! Sweet and sour water! Rice like a brick! Waste of hard earned cash thru in the bin!! Needless to say they have lost our custom and will never recommend to anyone. Had to give 1 star because it is required,but no star is more like it!"

"not sure whether we have only luck on our visit to fortune inn on the basis of some of the negative reviews, but they need to talk as they find. the food was decent with a huge menu to choose, although one of the dishes (spicy Satay chicken) was a little bland and certainly not spicy, the service was prompt and the staff was ok. the prices did not seem too bad. not sure that the person who sat all night during our meal (can they get the spicy satay) but all in all I would say it is their average restaurant, we would certainly eat here again if in pickering."

"Delicious takeaway to end a lovely family holiday to Newton Stewart. We had a mix of meals, starters and sides prawn/chicken/vegetarian. Good reviews all round! Reasonably priced meals, decent portion sizes. Only things we would have liked to see on the menu that wasn't there was salt and pepper chips and tofu options. Would reccomend this takeaway as good as most across the country. Note: the takeaway is cash only (nearest cashpoint is just over the road). Thank you Dynasty."

"Long wait for meal. My fault that I didn't check the bill until I got home, and then found out out that I was charged for an extra that I didn't order, the garlic bread was priced at 2.50 but I was charged 2.95 !!! Very disappointed, as review's indicated that since refurbished things would be better. However, I don't agree, would not recommend to anyone !!!!!"

"My go to dish when I go to a new Chinese is shredded beef if they do it well they have my custom. I've been to a lot of places and here I had it with their Singapore chow mein, it was in my top five and I went back the next night to try their shredded chicken, also gorgeous. Great food at great prices served by really nice people"
