"Went to Korova for dinner with my husband and enjoyed 3 courses, a cocktail and wine. The restaurant is lovely understated and relaxed whilst still managing to feel special. The food is excellent, we had scallops and french onion soup as starters, fresh pappardelle and pheasant as mains and shared a salted caramel and chocolate dessert. All of the food was very good beautifully presented, decent sized portions and very well executed. Delicious! Very lucky to have this restaurant nearby."

We went as a works group and although the food came out pretty quickly I were left feeling a bit underwhelmed with both my starter and mains, somewhat simple and lacking flavour. "The Cote Brasserie chain of restaurants is consistently good, and the Muswell Hill restaurant is a very good example. We had the set menu (went for the 3 courses) and upgraded to the 8oz sirloin steaks. Service was excellent, the beer was cold, the food was very good and reasonably priced. The only niggle and it is a small one was that both steaks (one rare, one medium rare), whilst very well cooked, were a bit fatty. We had a lovely time. Second time I have been to this restaurant (I don't live that close) and will come back again."

"The ambiance was awful. The hip-hop music did not match the setting at all. Our food order arrived in pieces and was missing items. The service was slow, with our drink order taking 20 minutes to arrive and another 20 minutes to take our main order due to a large party. The main course took a long time to come out because they were busy. Smoke from outside smokers wafted in through the main doors. The waitresses were friendly and helpful, but overall the experience was lacking. I will not be returning and do not recommend this restaurant. It's a shame because the venue has potential. The menu was a bit over the top, with strange items like "lamm and sardelle.""

"The menu decor needs modernising, very 80’s in presentation and choice. Lack of allergen information, the order at table function was woeful, and the guest wifi unconnectable! The service was friendly, yet basic, was asked to pay when the drinks arrived (and the drinks order was wrong) ahead of the food arriving. The food itself was acceptable. If you want a cheap drink bar snack in the bar garden, this is probably the place for you! Given the current covid restrictions it was disappointing that there wasn’t an obvious place to check in and be seated. Face coverings appeared to be optional for the staff. All in, some key standards not in place, maybe if we visit for a meal in the future the management will have taken note."

"As someone who has worked as a waitress before, I know what a busy restaurant looks like. It took a long time for us to order drinks, with one even being served in a dirty glass. Ordering our food was also delayed. We ended up ordering too much Calamari, with the portions being uneven. The Bratbeef dish came with only two small pieces of meat. After we finished our meal, no one came to clear our table and the staff seemed to have disappeared. We had to search for them in the bar. It took a total of 3.5 hours to serve a party of four people two courses. Overall, we were extremely disappointed with the service, especially since we had family visiting from Leeds with two young children."

"Finally tried cote and after much promotions by so many people the place did not let itself down. Very nice place with lovely and friendly staff. Visited it on my birthday and it was special. "Location 1 of only 2 hotels in the villiage affording amazing views over the Loch from the lounge, restuarant and loch facing bedrooms. Large carpark at the front, easy access. There is a villiage store which sells most produce at slightly inflated prices as they have the monopoly. There are no independent restuarants or take a ways in the area. First impressions Looks a bit like a motel, the building could do witha bit of TLC with paint peeling off cills and walls. Staff Very friendly and helpfull. Room We had room 10 which was a loch facing room, the room was basic with a comfortable bed but no wardrobes for hanging clothes and limited drawer space. There was Tea and coffee makings in the room. The WiFi was non existant in the room and we had to virtually stand next to the modems at the top of the stairs or in the bar area to get a signal. The Bathroom had a bath with a shower. The tiled floor showed signs and wear around the toilet and room looked tired. There was no daily room servicing to make the bed, replenish the tea, milk and coffee or replace any towels or toiletries if needed. The fridge did make a noise so we turned that off at night. The room faces the main road some 50yds away but we noticed no noise from passing traffic. Probably because it is a quiet location. Food Disappointed that for £270 for 2 persons for 2 nights that that did not include breakfast which was £10 for continental or £15 for English. We both had Duck for dinner, I found the duck very nice with a lovely sauce but thought that 1 sliver of carrot, 1 small piece of pak Choi, 1 cube of potato, about 3cm cubed, and a couple of sprigs of broccolli was a bit meagre for the price. The bar had an extensive range of whiskies and limited ales."

"During my visit to Chichester, my Mum and I stopped for a late lunch at this restaurant. We enjoyed the Chicken Salad followed by the Creme Caramel and Apple Crumble, both of which were equally delicious. However, the Creme Caramel stood out as a particular favorite. It was the best I've had in a long time - rich and creamy, unlike the vanilla-flavored desserts served at other restaurants. The staff provided fantastic service and were extremely friendly and helpful."

We notified one of two members of staff at front of house and this was dealt with straight away and very professionally. The rest of the party had finished eating by the time my dish was returned but it was kindly removed from the bill at the end. For this I would probably return, although it's more of a brunch time place, don't be swayed by the online menu."
