"I visited the restaurant for a Sunday roast and found it quite disappointing. I paid £19 for the beef, which felt extremely overpriced for what I received. In the photo I uploaded, you can see that I had only taken a small bite of the beef and Yorkshire pudding before snapping the picture. The portion sizes were quite small. The cauliflower cheese appeared to be served in a very modest amount, as if it was dished out with a tablespoon.
The food itself was decent but nothing memorable. While everything was cooked well, it tasted just like a home-cooked meal, and that's not why I dine out. I would have rated it one star lower if it weren't for the discount I received after sharing my feedback with the staff.
One surprising aspect was that only the beef roast comes with a Yorkshire pudding; the chicken roast, priced at £18, did not include one. This seemed quite unreasonable! Unless they revise their prices or increase the portion sizes, I don't see myself returning for a meal. However, I might consider coming back for drinks, which were reasonably priced.
