"We have visited The Hollybush on several occasions and do think it is a top quality restaurant. Spotless toilets, comparable to a 4 star hotel and immaculate presentation throughout. However, this time, we left overall disappointed with our meal. The rump steak was not the best and quite bland. The beef Sunday roast was very chewy. The salt and pepper squid starter was surprisingly spicy and not served with a lemon slice, which was disappointing. The children's menu, when put together main and dessert, is expensive for smaller children. We will probably visit again one day, as they do try hard to give a top quality experience, it is just this time, the food underwhelmed. Past visits have warranted 4 and 5 stars, just not today."

"Extortionately overpriced for basic pub grub, plus poor service and no allergen menu. First of all, my wife and I regularly frequent very high end establishments. This isn’t what you would expect at this price point. The location is beautiful, the staff are well dressed and courteous, however, the decor on the wild carrot is tired and the food is 50/50… read on… On arrival we were seated at a dark table with no view, when there were plenty of nicer tables it was quite quiet . We shortly asked to move which was a waste of of our time. My wife has an egg allergy and was horrified to discover they had no allergen menu they could share with us, plus the two waiters said they had no idea about allergens so had to check with the chefs each time, which made us nervous. I’m fairness the cocktails were good. The Wild Carrot starter, which was meant to have rainbow radishes and crudités was a £0.75p £1 bag of mixed leaf salad you’d get in a supermarket with some cherry tomatoes and sliced carrot, no radish. The fish and chips had thick undercooked doughy batter and they hadn’t removed the skin on the fish. The chips were supermarket chunky McCains type frozen chips and undercooked. For £28 I expect far, far better. This was more £18 pub grub at best. My mushroom toast was excellent and the mushroom pasta was also good but the side of fries for which I didn’t ask the cost was £8 !! they were limp and flavourless, essentially KFC/McDonalds level when not fresh, small portion too. My wife left about 30 40% of her food it was so bad, I ate mine as I’m more stubborn, but in hindsight, it really wasn’t worth the money as experiences of that price point should be equal, certainly not compatible to pubs and takeouts. The correct cutlery wasn’t laid out and our water wasn’t topped up once. To make matters worse, they added 15% to the bill but didn’t bring the itemised bill, just put the total on the card machine and brought that, at this point we just paid up and made for the exit. A totally embarrassing set up with incompetent staff and horrendous poor quality produce and cooking. Felt like daylight robbery and ruined our day. Read the other reviews, there’s a running theme for being overpriced and disappointing here and it’s letting what looks to be a very nice hotel down. Everything needs changing here except the cocktails and the mushroom toast starter. Also, other reviews are correct, wild kids everywhere, no wild carrots in sight. AVOID."

"We took a group of 37 students from the United States to eat here. It was prearranged by our tour company; and it was one of the last meals we ate on our long vacation. We had grown accustomed to average to bland food on this trip. But this meal was very tasty, hot, and homemade (clearly not a boxed kit). The service was amazing (which isn’t always the case with large groups, additionally coming from the States where wait staff’s try hard because their tips are dependent on it). The animatronic Elephant in the courtyard was a big hit with teenagers and adults and chaperones equally. It was a great experience and good food served by good people."

"I had a wonderful experience celebrating my birthday here. The service was excellent, the food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, and the ambiance was lovely. I hope to return on a day when it's not raining so I can fully appreciate the beautiful surroundings and grounds."

"Booked a three course meal via wowcher , were seated in an extension of the pub with interiors which didn’t really match up with the rest of the hotel. Ordered a burger for kids which was not a part of the set meal which came in approx 20 mins which was a good thing . The burger was probably good they ate it all. We receive the salad as starters fairly quick , supposed to be grill mixed veg starters , poor wife only had leaves no trace of any grilled veg don’t think I specified she had any allergy to grilled veg , I Had the grilled veg plus the leaves So was ok. The main course came exactly in 1 hour and 15 mins from time of ordering . Wife said her chicken was ok my pork belly was extremely dry luckily had a whole bottle of Prosecco as part of the meal which made It much easier . Absolutely no flavour or taste usually I really enjoy anything when I am starving , but not this time. Didn’t really think was worth waiting for the third course, lemon sorbet which was part of the set meals for another hour in a dining spot with poor ambience . So left without the third course, the waiter was kind enough to not charge for the burger and the sparkling water which was an extra you go to restaurants for experience the deal itself was cheap but definitely the worst meal I have ever had in my whole life in a restaurant . Didn’t really expect this from Hyatt, they could rather charge a bit more and keep up the minimum expectation . There were only two waiters managing whole of the pub, both were extremely polite ."

"I was very impressed with the dining experience at this restaurant. Although everyone's experiences may vary, mine was quite good. I ordered the pork belly dish that came with an apple cake. The meat was very well-cooked and tender, and the cake was a tasty accompaniment. The dish was well-presented and delicious. The staff was friendly as well. The bar was bustling on a Friday night, so it may be a bit noisy for those who are bothered by that. Overall, I would recommend this place as a good spot for dinner before exploring the city."

"Dined at TapaVino in canary wharf and I am still dreaming about the experience! The service and food was hard to fault! Impressive menu which took me back to Spain! The high light of our experience was watching the one man show of your chef, who we had to the pleasure to meet, Chiara! She was in complete control of the kitchen which set the energy and the mood for the restaurant! What an asset to your team and so great at her job! She even came and brought us a dish and explained it! Thankyou for the experience can’t wait to see you again"

"This venue in London is one of the best, if not the best! Everything from the food and drinks to the staff, ambience, music, and dancers was exceptional. The prawns, squid, tapas, and tomatoes were all incredibly delicious. The music selection catered to everyone's taste and had everyone on the dance floor. The overall experience at Tonteria is not to be missed. It's rare to find a venue where the food is just as amazing as the nightlife, but Tonteria nails it. My friends and I all agree that we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend Tonteria for any occasion, no matter the size of your group. Thank you, Tonteria, for a memorable experience - we love you and will definitely be returning!"

"It is something of a triumph of style over substance. Great location, and all looks very hip and stylish. Others have commented on the inexperienced and somewhat chaotic waiting staff; we had to wait 35 minutes for our initial aperitif drinks to arrive (one cocktail and a diet coke). Later we had the same glass of wine, which he hadn’t ordered, brought to our table on three occasions by two different servers. Not blaming individual servers who were all very charming, but evident lack of competent leadership. The food was good enough, but like the drinks, about 25% over-priced. And the glass of wine we hadn’t ordered and sent back three times, still appeared on our bill. Not a restaurant we will be re-visiting."

"Visited for brunch for my Mums birthday this weekend. The food and wine was lovely, Caesar salad was outstanding. The views and decor in the hotel and restaurant are fantastic. What really made the trip was the service we received, all staff were so polite and even brought out a slice of cake for my Mum which we appreciated so much. Downstairs Derek, on the reception took lots of photos of us and gave us great information about London and how to get about. Will definitely be back the next time we visit!! Thank you so much for a memorable lunch for my Mums big birthday!"
