"We weren't offered water and had to request it, which is unacceptable for a venue of this caliber. When our food arrived, we had no cutlery and couldn't find a waiter, so we had to go to the bar to ask for some. Our second round of drinks was never ordered, so we finished with just one drink. When we asked for the bill, we waited 20 minutes without it arriving, and had to request it again. The place was only half full, so there was no reason for such poor service. In retrospect, we should have asked for the service charge to be removed. The food and drinks were good, and the venue itself was attractive, which makes the disappointing experience even more frustrating. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning. I consistently receive much better service at Vinoteca near Cannon Street, often at a better price. I would only recommend this venue to someone I’d rather not see enjoy their meal."

"The service was absolutely terrible! I had to call the waiter ten times just to place my order. When the food finally arrived, it was cold, and the waitstaff seemed confused about which table ordered what. I ordered a prosecco, but it came flat, and when I asked for a replacement, it was just as disappointing. We also wanted to use an OpenTable voucher and confirmed beforehand that the restaurant was still part of the program (it was). However, when we presented the voucher to the manager, he was incredibly rude and unhelpful, practically making a scene and raising his voice as we tried to understand why it wasn't accepted. The food itself was decent, but that level of service is not worth the price."

"We have visited Robatary on many occasions and it’s never provided us with anything other than a great experience. The staff are really friendly and are always on hand to assist you. The menu offers a wide range of both small plates as well as larger main meals. On our most recent visit, we ordered; (small plates) duck pancakes, duck fried gyozas, (large plates) katsu chicken curry and crispy chilli beef. The duck pancakes came with a hoisin dipping sauce and were really flavoursome. With the gyozas, you actually get a choice of whether you want them deep fried or steamed and a choice of two different dipping sauces as well. We opted for deep fried with the miso sauce- I would highly recommend. The main dishes were also really tasty and well presented, the portions are huge as well! The only slight complaint I have is that the egg fried rice that the crispy chilli beef comes with, was a little too goopy on this visit, another minute or so and it would’ve been perfect. Other than that though, I really can’t complain and on top of that, they also have 25% off the whole menu between 5PM-7PM as part of their early bird special! This restaurant is well worth a visit, we will definitely be returning again soon."

"we had a great evening in their restaurant! we came in without booking, and there were 8 of us at one of the evenings. the spicy margaret was just one of the best cocktails we need to order most. the cocktails taste fabulous! one of my friends has several allergens. it is not good to eat, and most of the food she cannot eat. a blonde lady took our job, and I told her I had several allergens. an Asian lady knows my allergens. she went beyond and beyond to make sure I had something to eat. she almost makes me cry because she cares about my allergens. thanks for a fabulous evening. the Asian dame and all the workers make our evening just as good as her. We will be back for more cocktails. we love this place and you are the best!"

"Every time I have been here there is always something wrong, food great and senior staff members seem perfect, when sitting in and eating ordered a drink and a main dish, only drink arrived and didn’t order the main for us, we were in a bit of a rush so had to leave. Then when I ordered online for collection, someone had taken the ticket off and just left it next to the register which was rather annoying as I had to wait a while due to a busy Saturday. Food is excellent, 10/10 recommend, just a bit of a pain to go out for a meal and have to chase someone for your food. They were very kind about delaying my collection and gave me a larger drink."

"Kyoto is a special place to eat the owner is friendly and obviously very passionate about his food and happy to discuss where he sources it and the recent new finds he has made and added to the menu. This results in food with a superior quality to anything else in Winchester, although it is a little expensive. It is beautifully plated and a pleasure to eat. "This was once my favorite sushi restaurant in Glasgow, where I reside. However, it appears that another restaurant called Meets Noodles has taken over this establishment and kept the old name in an attempt to maintain previous customers. Unfortunately, none of the new staff members speak English, which has led to multiple issues with incorrect orders and lack of communication. I have called the restaurant and after numerous attempts to communicate in English, they have hung up on me. The same situation occurred when a delivery service called Caitlins tried to clarify an order. This change in service due to non-English speaking staff has been frustrating for me and has deterred me from ordering from them. It seems that the restaurant may no longer specialize in sushi. I would advise caution when ordering from here, as the lack of English communication has impacted the overall experience. Sadly, I will no longer consider this restaurant as a sushi option in Glasgow, but they may still offer delicious noodles."

"During our trip to Japan last year, we dined at Kiri and were thoroughly impressed by the authentic flavors. The restaurant's label as an Izakaya primarily reflected its ambience and decor, rather than its menu. However, this was insignificant as the food was exceptional. We opted for the tasting menu with Sake Pairing, which was priced at a reasonable £60 per person. We were elated by this fantastic discovery and are eager to return for another memorable dining experience."

"Myself and my husband ate here to kick off our honeymoon. The food in Sakanas was absolutely incredible! We had the beef teriyaki and Korean steak gambi with jasmine rice, and both were gorgeous. Steak was melt in the mouth, incredible flavour and filling. Not the cheapest but well worth what you pay. Nice atmosphere, could have done with some air con as it was very hot in there! The only criticism we had was that the guy serving our table had zero customer service skills. We didn’t get a name but he was the tall server with his hair up in a top knot. No check back to see how our food was, zero conversation, came across as pretty rude and didn’t bother asking if we’d enjoyed the food. It was a shame as some of the other servers were really friendly but we didn’t tip because of his service. Otherwise, lovely meal out! Would definitely recommend for the food itself."

"The restaurant offers a variety of sushi dishes that are above average for Munich, as well as Thai food. We ordered the lobster curry, which was mostly lychees with little lobster, and the Tom Kha Gai soup, which was missing lemongrass. The mixed starter plate was uninspired variations of fried chicken and shrimp with little flavor diversity. It's best to avoid sitting in the main area, which feels like an all-you-can-eat buffet. Despite requesting a nice corner table for a birthday celebration and following up with a phone call, we were seated in the center of the impersonal room. As a Munich local with nostalgic memories of the restaurant from the 90s, I feel that Mangostin has lost its charm and the food quality has declined over the years. The hostess was rude, but our waitress was excellent. Overall, the birthday celebration was disappointing and I do not plan on returning."

"I traveled solo and stayed in Greenwich for 3 months and cannot say more about this restaurant. The restaurant and staff are professional and the restaurant itself is extremely classy .. The food and the service were outstanding. It then became a go to restaurant during my stay. Firstly I don't think people realize what a wonderful place Greenwich is to stay when they travel London. It is so easy to get to every major attraction you want, yet you can come back and find a lovely neighborhood with so many great restaurants and pubs as well as museums and the Royal Greenwich Observatory which is a must. On one of your relaxing days you can stroll down Trafalgar street and hit the Maritime museum, Queens House and the Greenwich Market as well and walk along the Thames path to the Cutty Sark and the Uber Thames Clipper. Every mode of transportation is available in Greenwich-the river boats, buses, above ground rail and quick hop to the tube. I eat sushi alot and have tried many restaurants and this had the best selection I have ever had. I sat at the bar and asked the bartender and the staff for suggestions and they were spot on. Check out their other locations throughout London. You will not be disappointed"

"I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. My group was one of only two tables there during lunchtime. I ordered the Ramen with an additional £2 charge for tonkatsu and £1 charge for a soft boiled egg. Unfortunately, it took over 40 minutes for the dish to come out, and when it did, the noodles were soaked in broth, the egg was overcooked, and the tonkatsu was dry. I took a picture of the ramen as the waiter was collecting it and informed him of my dissatisfaction, but did not request anything else. As someone who used to work in restaurants, I understand that everybody has off days. However, what really disappointed me was that the management never came to our table to apologize, even though we were one of only two tables in the restaurant. This lack of attention to customer service is why I can only give this restaurant a 1-star rating. If you're looking for sushi in Paisley, I would recommend going to Okome instead."
