"We celebrated a special occasion for lunch at the Ritz ,the hotel and the dining room is one of it's kind and is a visual treat,the service is second to none and has been top draw throughout;now the food 2 canape of goats cheese and foiegras were both delight to eat and very well executed the goats cheese canape best of both ;wife's starter of cured salmon again vibrant and well flavoured ;my sea bass with lemon and beans was good but I thought it could have been more exciting on texture and flavour ;my mains of lamb was the weakest dish of the menu,basil puree the stand out element on the plate ;partners halibut was outstanding;dessert of souffle and chocolate were both delight to eat;petit fours was good but lack the depth of textures and flavours; bread was the finest you can get with a well formed crust and texture it was a delight to eat; overall it was a special experience with great food and fantastic service;Will definitely return and thanks to the great team"

"I am disgusted by the way this pub has treated us and let us down at last minute for our wedding day. We booked with them about 2 years ago asking if they would provide the bar for our wedding which they agreed to. We then met with the manager last year and discussed and finalised our booking for our WEDDING. We had mentioned it was going to be the Jubilee weekend so we wernt let down at last minute and gave plenty of notice. They said they would fulfil our request and they could offer us the bar for our special day. Now with 6 weeks to go we have been let down at last minute after we messaged to ask about final payment. The swan didn't have the decency to contact us to let us know that they no longer were able to manage the bar at our wedding. We are absolutely gutted that this pub has let us down last minute with us now struggling to find an alternative option due to it being the Jubilee!!! I really hope this never happens to another couple as you should never have this stress leading up to your special day!!!!!! GO ELSEWHERE"

"I visited the restaurant for dinner, and the atmosphere was quite nice. The main course was very good, although it took a while to arrive, considering we were the only customers at the time. However, the most disappointing part was the starter. I ordered scallops, as I had always wanted to try them. While the portion was somewhat lacking for the price, it wasn't terrible. The real issue was that they tasted spoiled; they had a strong fishy odor, which I initially thought was normal, so I ate them anyway. Later that night, I experienced terrible stomach pain and learned that if scallops smell even slightly off, they shouldn't be served at all. Overall, aside from the disappointing starter—an important part of the meal—my experience was not bad."

"Food was good, wine pairing very good albeit a tad pretentious Not sure I ONLY want a tasting menu when fine dining Cost was x-rated, I 've never heard of a massive extra charge for 'Duck ' foie gras before ! Sadly, because of the menu and cost, this restaurant has now limited itself to a minority clientele which in my opinion is unwarranted."

The portion sizes were generous, the food was well-prepared and nicely presented. Despite the restaurant being busy, we were not rushed even though we had a 6pm reservation. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day."
