"I had a pleasant dining experience here. The price was a bit high at $12 per person, but it was a Sunday night. I ordered early rolls with chili and scallions, as well as fried rice. I was not offered water when I sat down, but when I asked for it, I was given a small glass and not offered a refill. The food came out quickly, which made me question its freshness. The restaurant had a strong odor and felt stuffy - they should consider opening a window for fresh air. Despite these issues, the food was delicious and exactly what I wanted. I will likely return for their lunch specials in the future. The servers were kind, but could improve by paying closer attention to their customers."

"It should be a no star but that doesn't exist. Save your money and avoid this place at all costs. A supermarket's own chicken soup is more spicy than the szechuan chicken. It was bland, tasteless and watery. The egg fried rice was just rice with a clumpy egg on the top of the rice when you opened the lid off the plastic container. The prawn crackers were not the freshest, and tasted as if a day old. All in all, a total waste of time and money. Avoid this place if you want anything that resembles an authentic Chinese dish. Reading previous reviews is helpful, and it's eye opening why there is no response from the restaurant on any of the feedback comments. I'd be mortified if I received any negative review and would want to correct things asap if I wanted to stay in business."

"I recently revisited this Chinese restaurant in Finnieston before a night out and was not disappointed. The interior may be basic, but the food more than makes up for it. Seeing Chinese students dining in was a good sign and indicated that the food was authentic. I tried the Chicken and Black Bean dish this time, and it was delicious. It seems like they may have a new chef, but the taste was still just as great as I remembered. The portions were generous and filled me up nicely before a few drinks. My friends tried the crispy shredded beef, which was also a large portion. I will definitely be returning soon."

"Ordered the crispy chicken chow mein (tasteless, no flavour at all), satay chicken skewers (sauce was mostly oil, didn’t taste like peanuts at all, chicken was dry and chewy), special curry (nothing special about it, didn’t taste like curry, more floury than curry. Chicken was dry. Pork was chewy and tasteless. Had to add own seasonings to make it palatable), prawn toast and spring rolls were average. Overall an extremely disappointing experience from a usually great place, gone very downhill."

"Have been here several times and always go for the evening buffet. Which you can do at lunch or dinner time. It £29.99 a person but you can eat, as much as you like. The portions are small which is great as it means you can have lots of different things rather than the masses they give you when you order a take away. Service is always good, food hot and delicious. Really recommend. "They do accommodation too now. a night, that seems slightly pricey for a room in a Chinese restaurant but it’s for and all that so must be because it’s saving the planet. I heard that Greta lassie is staying here. She loves Salt “N” Chilli chicken “N” chips can’t get it in Sweden seemingly, she doesn’t like banana fritters though cause of the carbon footprint associated with shipping them from Columbia. Seems as if everything from Columbia now a days is illegal, immoral or fattening. Anyway, rooms get yourself down there grab a bargain."

"We had a meal from your restaurant the other night, and I'm sorry but it was awful. The chicken in my curry was prepared in some kind of weird way, I can't even be sure it was chicken! "I recently ordered a takeaway from this restaurant through JustEat, spending £70. This was only my second time ordering from them. While we enjoyed our meal the first time, this experience was disappointing. The food I received was incorrect, and when I complained through JustEat, I was given a poor excuse. I ordered 2 portions of satay chicken but received garlic chicken instead. The excuse was that they have their own recipes and cooking techniques, but it seemed like a flimsy excuse to me. The quality of the rest of the meal was also subpar. As a fully qualified chef myself, I believe it is important for businesses to own up to their mistakes and make them right. I will not be ordering from this place again and caution others to think twice before doing so."
