"that was my first trip to zindiyas on recommendation of a friend. we chose the afternoon, which was a really good choice. first, the facility of the restaurant was simply perfect together with the beautiful Indian detailing on the tables, chairs, walls etc. service was good, although at a point we had 3 people coming and wondering if everything was in order! in the afternoon was absolutely worth money. the highlight was the Aloo Chaat and bhelpuri for me. only enough seasoned and the aromen were amazing. the chickens with the minzyoghurt was on the spot, but the Bombay sandwich was missing. the kartoffel was a tad under boiled and there was less of the wonderful green chutney and a lack of salt! sweetness: melt in the mouth of cardamom spiced cookies and Indian spiced scenes! the makkaron was delish, but a bit too sweet for my palate. the highlight for me was the gajar(Sweet carrot) halwa( pudding) spring rolls! flaky bäck with the sweet tube pudding filling! oh well also the okra fries and vada pav, which were amazing. best okra fries ever! I want to visit again, yes in any case! it is a 4/5 for me because of the Bombay sandwich that was a let off, as I really pleased!"

"Our order arrived at stated time..well it didn't take long to eat as we loved every dish. Each dish was generous in portion arrived piping hot. All meat was tender plentiful my vegetarian dish was amazingly tasty. I've written this straight after washing up as I was that impressed. "I recently visited The Loading restaurant and ordered roti with chana curry. I also tried jalebi, methi parota, and rose milk shaker. The restaurant is well-maintained and serves authentic vegetarian dishes. The samosas are freshly fried right in front of us, which is a highlight. They offer a variety of Indian sweets and snacks at a reasonable price (though could be slightly cheaper) and of good quality. I recommend giving them a try when you visit Soho Street."

"Overall comments: This place was part of our Anonymous dinner rota. We were quite happy during eating and on the day, but the next few days were rough as 3/4 of us were ill. I wouldn’t go again even though the food tasted nice. Go at your own risk as it is good value for money if you can stomach food made in an unclean environment. My order was as follows: Starter(s): Veg Samosa, Hara Kebab, Aloo Tikki Chaat, Chicken Tikka, Side(s): Plain Naan. Food: All the dishes were good and I thought we found a gem. However, 3 of the 4 of us were ill for a few days after. Atmosphere: Music was at a varying loudness. The Seating was not comfy at all. The interior was decent but nothing special. Service: Service was poor. We had to ask for water multiple times and the waiter assigned to our table just didn’t want to listen to us when we asked for things or tried to get his attention. The other waiter was very good when we asked him for assistance. The food arrived at a good speed to the table. Cost: Mid-range and only worth it if your stomach can handle food made in a bad environment."

"In view of the tranquility of the local balti triangle it may seem strange to choose a very central Indian restaurant, but the Indian streatery more than deserves the recommendations of the natives that it proposed to us. a varied and creative selection of things to do is accompanied by truly excellent and friendly service. they may not see the favorites on the menu, but I can almost guarantee that they go after they have discovered some more. some wonderful and exciting vegetarian options as well as delicious local ales. given the current climate, we felt safe at any time and the costs were very reasonable. my positiveity was shared by a diner at another table that recommended me a dish only to buy himself a take-off version of the food he had eaten for tomorrow's so that the family owners of the streatery do something right."

"I was really excited to try this restaurant as I have been cooking Indian and Pakistani food for over fifty years and have visited India multiple times. I have a special love for Bengali and Gujarati cuisine. As we waited in line for the buffet, we were given a large chapatti and a plate of white rice, which was a nice touch but added extra cost to our bill. The chicken dish I ordered was just okay, not much different from a mild chili dish. My dining companion enjoyed her chicken curry, while the highlight of the meal was the Onion Pakora. The sambar dish she had was also good. Next time, we plan to try the vegetarian and south Indian dishes, along with extra Onion Bhaji. The price for a small portion of pickle was quite high. We will return, but will opt for the vegetarian and south Indian options as we found the overall experience to be a bit overpriced and some items seemed a bit over the top. Surprisingly, there weren't many Indian diners there."

"The Shikhand was not beaten until the sugar was dissolved, unusual texture of lumps not beaten until smooth I would think it was rushed. Also found more chilli in the Bhajya when ordered first time it was just right but this time very hot cannot taste the lovely chutney. It's all about making it better than it is. Time to get back on track again, as for big occasions no one likes hot chilli bhajyas that blows your mouth open to have anything to cool it and Shikhand to beaten until no lumps."

"We had a much better experience this time with the staff at the restaurant. The manager was courteous and attentive compared to our last visit. We opted for the unlimited 16 and found the food to be delicious. However, the menu options were limited with only a few non-vegetarian and vegetarian choices for each course. The portions were also smaller than expected. Despite this, the Daal Makhani was excellent. Unfortunately, the Hydrabad chicken biryani was disappointing as the rice was dry and lacked any spice."

"TERRIBLE! Went for a family meal with the family service was horrible and place is filthy. So much wrong with the place no idea how it’s still open! Food quality was so horrible ! Toilets do not flush and so disgusting. Asked for multiple things on the menu and they did not have in the end we ended up sharing 3 cans of sprite between 7 people! I feel so sick that places like this are open in the UK! They need a visit by a health and safety officer ASAP! After asking multiple times for basics the attitude changed as we did ask them to tell us before we placed our mains If there is certain things missing from the menu. We were rest assured everything is available then when we went to order we were told they didn’t have most of what we wanted! So frustrating and then the guy serving gave us attitude!! Find it strange how it’s cash only in this day and age! So we have to go get cash out and truthfully don’t rate anything thought out the evening. Overall do not visit the standard is very poor!!! Be warned!"

"Came here yesterday for lunch .It Was around 1.45ish. It was busy . We ordered two channa bhatura . We were given 2 bhatura Each. Upon eating, I found that the chick peas were very spicy. It seemed like The ground spices hadn’t been cooked into the curry properly and the spice was hurting my throat. So I called the waiter over and told him the chick pea curry was very spicey. He just said they made it medium hot. All the time He didn’t seem that bothered. I asked for Some plain saag instead. So atleast I could eat the bhatura. The saag was very pale in colour . It was ok. But too much garlic in it . The bhatura were oily . We would have preferred Puri instead . The waiters were all busy. The food Was bought out quickly I noticed . It’s not cheap to eat here. Most dishes are £7 plus. We paid £25. Just for two channa and a saag And sadly I didn’t enjoy any of it. I won’t be back . The service was slow. Had to get the Attention of the waiters when we wanted anything . They didn’t seemed bothered ."
