"that was my first trip to zindiyas on recommendation of a friend. we chose the afternoon, which was a really good choice. first, the facility of the restaurant was simply perfect together with the beautiful Indian detailing on the tables, chairs, walls etc. service was good, although at a point we had 3 people coming and wondering if everything was in order! in the afternoon was absolutely worth money. the highlight was the Aloo Chaat and bhelpuri for me. only enough seasoned and the aromen were amazing. the chickens with the minzyoghurt was on the spot, but the Bombay sandwich was missing. the kartoffel was a tad under boiled and there was less of the wonderful green chutney and a lack of salt! sweetness: melt in the mouth of cardamom spiced cookies and Indian spiced scenes! the makkaron was delish, but a bit too sweet for my palate. the highlight for me was the gajar(Sweet carrot) halwa( pudding) spring rolls! flaky bäck with the sweet tube pudding filling! oh well also the okra fries and vada pav, which were amazing. best okra fries ever! I want to visit again, yes in any case! it is a 4/5 for me because of the Bombay sandwich that was a let off, as I really pleased!"

"Overall comments: This place was part of our Anonymous dinner rota. We were quite happy during eating and on the day, but the next few days were rough as 3/4 of us were ill. I wouldn’t go again even though the food tasted nice. Go at your own risk as it is good value for money if you can stomach food made in an unclean environment. My order was as follows: Starter(s): Veg Samosa, Hara Kebab, Aloo Tikki Chaat, Chicken Tikka, Side(s): Plain Naan. Food: All the dishes were good and I thought we found a gem. However, 3 of the 4 of us were ill for a few days after. Atmosphere: Music was at a varying loudness. The Seating was not comfy at all. The interior was decent but nothing special. Service: Service was poor. We had to ask for water multiple times and the waiter assigned to our table just didn’t want to listen to us when we asked for things or tried to get his attention. The other waiter was very good when we asked him for assistance. The food arrived at a good speed to the table. "I recently visited The Loading restaurant and ordered roti with chana curry. I also tried jalebi, methi parota, and rose milk shaker. The restaurant is well-maintained and serves authentic vegetarian dishes. The samosas are freshly fried right in front of us, which is a highlight. They offer a variety of Indian sweets and snacks at a reasonable price (though could be slightly cheaper) and of good quality. I recommend giving them a try when you visit Soho Street."

"Our order arrived at stated time..well it didn't take long to eat as we loved every dish. Each dish was generous in portion arrived piping hot. All meat was tender plentiful my vegetarian dish was amazingly tasty. I've written this straight after washing up as I was that impressed. "In view of the tranquility of the local balti triangle it may seem strange to choose a very central Indian restaurant, but the Indian streatery more than deserves the recommendations of the natives that it proposed to us. a varied and creative selection of things to do is accompanied by truly excellent and friendly service. they may not see the favorites on the menu, but I can almost guarantee that they go after they have discovered some more. some wonderful and exciting vegetarian options as well as delicious local ales. given the current climate, we felt safe at any time and the costs were very reasonable. my positiveity was shared by a diner at another table that recommended me a dish only to buy himself a take-off version of the food he had eaten for tomorrow's so that the family owners of the streatery do something right."

"Proper punjabi home cooked meal. This is it. Home style cooking, missing your mothers food, visit this place you won’t be disappointed. Simple vegetarian food, cheap but good quality and tasty food (5 star food hygiene rating). Wish they were in central London but well worth the trip. 5 mins walk from Southall station. Very pleasant staff, always smiling and helpful. To top it off, love the punjabi songs they run on the TV, brings back memories of my home, which I dearly miss. Keep up the good work. "I had read about the ymca dining hall in a tourist handbook and had been meaning to try it for a number of year. Finally on this visit we were able to visit....we shouldn't of bothered on arrival you pay £11 each and tale the receipt to the counter where staff slop food onto a metal prison style tray. We had no idea what each spoon was supposed to be. It consisted of a cold lentil water,a undercooked chicken curry,raw meatball in sauce and a decent chapati. We had paid been served tried to eat some and had left within ten minutes. Indian is favourite food and have ate at many Indian restaurants including street food style and the best little ones you find hidden down side streets but this honestly was awful Avoid"

"the portions are not suitable for an adult, more for a 5 year old. I ordered gujarati thali and the part was so small. only tears, kartoffels, sambar and cheeks. I would like to invite the owner to go to any South Indian restaurant and ask for a thiali instead and the amount of the next dishes they offer. 6! there was not even a sweet one offered. when I asked for more tears, the waiter brought me back a tiny part of rice, which was smaller than my 5 years old to lunch, but they paid £4."

We opted for the unlimited 16 and found the food to be delicious. However, the menu options were limited with only a few non-vegetarian and vegetarian choices for each course. "TERRIBLE! Went for a family meal with the family service was horrible and place is filthy. So much wrong with the place no idea how it’s still open! Food quality was so horrible ! Toilets do not flush and so disgusting. Asked for multiple things on the menu and they did not have in the end we ended up sharing 3 cans of sprite between 7 people! I feel so sick that places like this are open in the UK! They need a visit by a health and safety officer ASAP! We were rest assured everything is available then when we went to order we were told they didn’t have most of what we wanted! So frustrating and then the guy serving gave us attitude!! We ordered 3 paneer dosas, when they came out it had grated raw paneer,, with no masala flavour, I thought it was supposed to be an indian dish, obviously not!!! they argued with us.
