"I made a reservation thinking this restaurant was affiliated with Richard Rawlings' Gas Monkey group, but it turns out it isn't. According to Gas Monkey Dallas, they have no connection to it. I was really disappointed as it became clear the moment we arrived. We felt obligated to stay for lunch, but the food was just average, with some unusual ingredients in the burger (goat cheese?). At least the food was served hot. The staff were friendly, but it wasn't at all what we expected based on our booking. I felt misled and wouldn't choose to come back or recommend it to others."

"We were SO looking to going to the cereal cafe as we are lovers of cereal, me especially and I was a great supporter when they first opened. We went in on a Sunday late morning and got in time to be seated just before it started getting busy. We were supposed to have table service but they were very busy and the guy behind the counter only looked about 14 so we were prepared to go up and order. Only thing was a lot of other people got their orders taken before us so not only were we waiting a very long time before we ate, but everyone besides the lad were moving at a snails pace. There was no sense of urgency or keeping up with the orders despite it really starting to get busy. My partner has many years experience in hospitality so it wasn't like we weren't sympathic but the level of apathy was unreal. Paper orders mean that someone is still running up and down the stairs to get the bowls made up rather than having one person upstairs taking orders and doing drinks, and one person making cereal downstairs. Just seems really inefficient. Two guys left because they were waiting for their coffee. This was a Sunday as well, not even a Saturday. The concept is there and they're obviously popular but wouldn't recommend to dine in until they get the system sorted. It's such a shame because I love cereal but I can't go back if I'm going to be waiting an age for my breakfast. FYI you get up to 4 types of cereal in a bowl, and extra toppings are 50p. The choice of cereal is supposed to be what's avaliable behind the counter but this isn't always accurate and the same goes for the milk."

"Took my mum here for Mother's Day and WOW was I impressed. The level of customer service, attentiveness of the server (who I believe was the Manager) and the food was gorgeous, such good value for money and the atmosphere was lovely. It says on the menu for the tipsy afternoon tea that you get 2 glasses of prosecco each but our server went above and beyond and topped up our glasses regularly. I can honestly say we never had an empty glass the entire 1.5 hours we spent there! I can genuinely say I've never had such exceptional customer service, particularly at a venue like Slug and Lettuce, and our server (the Manager I think) is both a testament to this individual venue and the wider business. Phenomenal."

"Salsa! is probably my favourite Latin American restaurant in the centre of London as their excellent cocktails, fantastic food and enchanting salsa rhythms are more than enough to get you marching to their beat. The bar and restaurant can be found underground via an aged wooden staircase. The walls are teaming with Latin American memorabilia and the rustic wooden decor makes you feel like you’ve been transported to a salsa bar in the heart of Spain. The fajitas were very filling and mine was served with succulent chicken breast marinated with Latin American herbs and spices along with diced onions, chillies and peppers. "Absolutely shocking such a shame on my daughter’s birthday. Half the things on the menu weren’t available; we had to wait over 35 minutes for our food, even though the restaurant wasn’t even quarter full; and the food that came was stale (kettle chips from a packet! , disgusting (pizzetta and blue cheese sauce or very disappointing (ice creams . The only nice thing was the burger. Even with the things that were awful taken off, the bill was still £120 for four and they had the cheek to add a service charge, even though the service was dreadful. Don’t waste your time or money going here."

"We ordered the BBQ Chef's Special and it came with a variety of tasty sides including loaded fries, onion rings, and coleslaw. The food arrived promptly and was still warm, and it was incredibly delicious. They also put in a lot of effort to provide vegan menu options, which we highly recommend!"
