"I came here with my partner and two friends for lunch least not to see my two friends as my partner and I do not live in Edinburgh. When we arrived, we went through to the back room and both noticed and realised the young woman who was behind the counter was on her own, she was serving, washing up, clearing tables, and taking orders and she explained to us she had been let down 24 hours earlier by one of her colleagues. The woman did not complain and on behalf of my partner, my two friends and myself we thank her for all she did and the service she gave us. Due to the time of day and the issue which had let her down there was only a handful of sandwiches left and due to my partner and I arriving earlier we bought them as other guests had the same idea and thanks to your colleague, she explained to the other people we had put our order in first and the other guests did not complain or make a scene. The food we did have was tasty and served well and my party and I were happy. Before we left, we all used the toilet which is down in the basement and not easy to get too if you are tall as I had to lower my head as I walked down the stairs. The toilet itself was fairly clean as sadly the person who used the toilet before me had not flushed it properly, the sink also was not clean either which I wiped before using it, similarly there were a few pieces of toilet paper on the floor which I picked up and wiped the seat again before one of my friends used the toilet. All in all my party and I were fairly happy with our visit and would come again and yet on behalf of my party I would like to thank your colleague for all she had to do singlehandedly, and we wish her well as we did not get her name."

"Ended up coming here twice during my last trip to London. The first was supposed to be for a quick snack/treat before getting dinner later that night, but when I saw that there was more than just vegan, allergy-free ice cream, and that I could also get gluten-free vegan waffles as well? Oops, I ended up having dessert for dinner. My second visit was after enjoying the first visit so much and wanting to try their crepes, but they ended up being out of crepes that second time. I love the concept of everything there being free of the top 14 allergens, therefore being vegan, gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free, dairy-free, egg-free, etc. It is rare being able to eat somewhere without the worry of cross-contamination. (They also don't allow patrons to bring food from outside to eat there, to prevent cross-contamination even in the dining area, which is extra security for anyone who is severely allergic to anything. The ice cream was pretty good for being vegan (I've had so much worse , and the waffles weren't anything special. You get three mini ones. For the combo plate, you can opt for two scoops of any flavor of ice cream, three mini waffles, and a choice of topping or syrup on top of it all. Next time if I get the combo plate, I might choose something other than syrup on top ... it was a little TOO sweet for me. Still yummy nonetheless. My second visit, as I said, was in hopes of trying their crepes, but they were out. So, I got just a scoop of ice cream. I tasted a couple of the other flavors, but I loved the cookies cream one so much last time that I got a scoop of that again, and got a gluten-free version of an Oreo cookie on top. Next time I'm back in London, I'll be back here, for sure."
