"This a wonderful experience except the service is absolutely terrible I cannot understand why in a super luxury hotel and a top environment that was reasonably full, one is essentially ignored by staff who mostly were standing around or talking to each other It was appalling."

"I had a great experience sipping on a glass of wine at their outdoor seating area. They offer a wide selection of excellent wines by the glass and have friendly staff."

"I have been to Soyo several times over the years and have seen many changes in their menu. Currently, the food is excellent with a diverse menu, fresh flavors, and great service. However, the turnover rate is high, so the quality of service can vary. The yogurt and pasta dishes are very popular, and the breakfast options are delicious."

"Delicious brunch on Sunday in a stylish restaurant in Brompton Cross. We had a range of dishes including Eggs Benedict Royale with Smoked Salmon, an Avocado chili eggs on sourdough, Lobster grilled Mango Tacos, and a Chinois chicken salad. Lovely friendly service and great recommendations for the different dishes and cocktails. Mine was the Passionate Apple juice, passion fruit puree, honey syrup, lemon juice and my partner had the Queen of Spades (Snow Queen, Cointreau, Velvet Falernum, berry puree, lime) Finally the desserts are worth going for anytime of the day as they were sublime Upside Down Date Pudding, a caramelized sponge, butterscotch sauce with salted caramel ice cream. And a wonderful Caramelized Apple Tarte Tatin braben apples, madagascan vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce poured by the waiter."

"Loved the cool decor. Nice furnishings and a light airy space. A comfortable casual feel. I visited first for an excellent cappuccino in the morning prior to visiting Kew Gardens (the coffee is much better here). There also were gorgeous cakes including an amazing lemon meringue pie. Pleasant, friendly efficient staff. I returned for lunch. The choice is very varied and their very modern breakfasts are available all day. I opted for folded eggs (a large portion of sort of folded very thin omlette), with roasted tomatoes and feta and smoked salmon sides. All were very generous portions. Their house rose was very good and well priced. I would definitely return."

"The food is excellent and unique. I absolutely love it. However, the service definitely needs to be improved before it starts impacting how customers view the restaurant."

"What a lovely little quirky eatery, my friend and I had afternoon tea. Two types of finger sandwiches, fruit cake, granola bar bits, chocolate brownies, home made jam tarts and scones with clotted cream and jam, a big pot of Earl grey with another big pot of hot water so plenty for the two of us, would definitely recommend."

"Famous for its all-day breakfasts, I was delighted to be invited to this restaurant by a friend. We visited on a Sunday and it was packed. We managed to snag the last available table and noticed that others had to wait for at least thirty minutes to be seated. A quick glance at the menu revealed that they offer a unique twist on classic breakfast dishes. Personally, I appreciate the variety as I often find myself bored with the same options on every breakfast/brunch menu in town."

"I initially disappointed that it was so quiet for a Saturday night, but a few more people came in after us. Given that it wasn't busy, service was a bit slow and not great. My starter (beetroot salad with walnuts) was good, but main course of smoked aubergine ravioli was not hot, and was smothered in too much sauce. One friend had Sliders, which arrived with not even a lettuce leaf on the side, so looked very stark on the plate, and other friend had veal escalope with loads of salad, which seemed a strange accompaniment. It didn't look very appetising, and she didn't eat half of it. We chose a Sauvignon Blanc which was fine but it wasn't Australian, so overall, I'm sorry, but I wouldn't recommend. One friend had eaten brunch in the Richmond branch and said it was great, but there is quite a difference between brunch and dinner."

"The fusion of styles of cuisine was well executed. The food was different and very good. The restaurant itself is small and intimate and we went on New Year’s Eve as a couple for a casual local meal. The one guy who was serving did a sterling job and was very attentive, friendly and courteous. Very good all round"

"The vegan pho at this restaurant is excellent, and the coconut curry soup is also delicious. However, the spicy soup was too sour for my taste. While it is a good option to have, there are better places for similar dishes. I rounded up my rating because of the convenient location."

"I visited with two friends last night and we loved it! The food was incredible (especially the calarmari and borek!) and we all really liked the wine too. Service was great with attentive, efficient waiters and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was really nice. I'm local and have been meaning to come here for about a year now! So pleased I finally got round to it and will definitely be returning."

"The staff are so attentive and friendly. The service is so quick and for the price I think the experience is so good! The cocktails are so refreshing n yum!! We had a cheeseburger while my boyfriend had the truffle burger which we all thought was one of the best burgers we’ve eaten! The best thing on the menu was definitely the fried chicken, which is breaded in rice crispies, 10/10! We also had the loaded tater tots which were insane. Definitely one we’ll always keep going to, just wish the burger nights were all week!!"

"great restaurant and delicious food. a lot of time and thoughts have gone to boil here. it was quiet when we were here on a Friday night, but when we tried to eat, we couldn't understand why it wasn't more business! a great foundation for tasty, casual, domestic Portuguese cuisine. highly recommended."

"The dining experience was enjoyable but not exceptional. The service was satisfactory, though not outstanding. It seems there may be a disconnect between the expectations set by their branding (aiming for a Gordon Ramsay-level quality) and the reality of their offerings, which seem more aligned with wanting to be superior to chains like P.F. Chang's. I would be willing to return, but likely with a smaller group, as I don't feel they manage larger parties very well."

"We walked in and were seated immediately in a corner to the right of the door. It didn't take long for us to place our orders. There was a lot of discussion at the table about short stacks and big stacks. While I admired a hearty crêpe at the table next to us, I decided to ditch my diet and ordered a short stack of pancakes with bananas. My dining companions opted for blueberry pancakes and cream pancakes. Unfortunately, I forgot to take any photos. The pancakes were light and fluffy, just like Aunt Jemima's mix but without the additives! I also ordered a side of sweet potatoes, which were just as delicious as any sweet dish."

"This place is ALWAYS busy so be prepared to be in a noisy environment. If you don't mind that, their service is usually great, swift and unless you go at peak weekend times, you can usually get a seat. The food is pretty good. I love taking the banana bread or one of the sandwiches. Coffee is just ok, I wouldn't say it's brilliant. Overall really like this place, but would love if they had more space for it to feel less crowded and improved the coffee!"

"The bun I got was delicious if a little pricey . The coffee was also enjoyable and had no complaints with the standard of the produce. Unfortunately the same could not be said for the service. The shop was not particularly busy despite it busy a Saturday afternoon around 60% full). Despite this the station where you add sugar/lids etc was piled up with trays, empty cups, plates etc so impossible to rest your drink down. The barista was abrupt with very little communication. He had not steamed enough milk to fill my cup but chose to serve it to me anyway!! Overall would go again but think the general management of the store and customer service could improve. Don’t mind paying a bit more for Gail’s quality goods but would be nice if the experience was improved by friendly staff ."
