"I've been going to the Holborn La Porchetta for over a year now, probably been or times, roughly, and I just keep finding more and more great food on the menu. For a long time I had the mushroom risotto, which is excellent. There are two recipes, one is tomatoey, and the older recipe, which they will do if you ask, if more based on red wine, and I prefer this one. More recently I've discovered two tagliatelle dishes one with salmon and cream, which is excellent, and another tagliatelle boscaiola, with fresh porcini mushrooms, minced pork, and cream is simply stunning, one of the best Italian dishes I've ever had. Other highlights from the menu are a chicken calzone with mozzarella and a vegetable calzone with even more mozzarella. The staff are wonderful, very welcoming. I love this place, would be quite happy to eat here every day of the week."

"This restaurant delivered a pizza to my house by mistake, the pizza was meant to be for a house, about four doors away from me. I was cooking BBQ food in the garden when there was a knock at the door, which my wife answered. Her son who was working upstairs, has takeaway food delivered at least three time a week. She accepted the delivery, thinking it was for him, she called out to him and he replied that he hadn't ordered anything. She asked me, I said no, of course not. I checked the delivery for signs of where it had come from of where it was supposed to be. There were no indications at all, no phone numbers, no restaurant name, no receipt and no delivery note. I said leave it there, they will come back when the mistake is spotted. 40 minutes went by and there was a knock at the door. A very angry man asking me if we had received a food delivery. He was the person who placed the order. I told him we had and explained what had happened. He calmed down a little, I asked him if he wanted the food, he said no, not now. It was then that I decided to compost the food and recycle the cardboard. 10 minutes later another knock and another angry person, this time from the restaurant. Again I explained what had happened but I got the impression he did not believe me, he walked away shaking his head, I asked him where had he and the food come from. He told me Plenty in Hampton. My initial thoughts were surprise, as I was busy cooking. However later I was angry. Angry that the restaurant gave out my number and angry that I was questioned by the manager/owner or whoever he was. Surely they should have printed a receipt or delivery note and surely giving out my address was very wrong."

"Italian restaurant in the Italian district and visited by italian . I know why! in the city many restaurants sponsored Italian cuisine, but unfortunately only a few are Italian. here we spent 20 pounds each for a pizza, a beer and a dessert. everything was good and the restaurant was clean with a friendly environment. recommended for those who want to feel like home, even if they live in the countryside! ristorante di italiani, in the quarter di italiani e frequentato per di più da italiani. e ti credo! nella city molti locali si spacciano per italiani, ma questo devo dire veramente conport 20 pfund a testa pro pizza birra e dolce di buona qualità, in ambiente...read more"

"I had the vegan chorizo pizza and it tasted amazing. very cheesy and the vegan chorizo was delicious, as the salat on the pizza. I had the vegan crumbs to follow and it also tasted nice. Before I became vegan, I was vegetarian for years and often went to casa italia, getting the garlic bread and vegetarian lasagne and each time was impressed by the high quality of the feed and generously updated to the previous.22"

"Pizza like Naples! There are pizza spots in Brighton, but none like NuPosto. Lucas, our phenomenal waiter, welcomed us kindly and led us to a charming table. My friend and I started with the garlic bread and wore it delicious! The dough was perfect. Full taste, but as soft as a pillow. I could practically feel the Neapolitan wind on my cheek when I enjoyed every bite. After the garlic bread we pampered in pizza. Whoever cooked that thing knew how to feel a man well! Seasoned to perfection. It was soft, but rich in taste. Unbelievable! Thank you NuPosto :"

"My girlfriend and I ordered from Il Principe online via Uber Eats and we were very disappointed by the entire experience. Firstly, the food arrived about 20 minutes late, after over an hour’s wait on the app. Then, when opened, we were at first negatively surprised by the aspect of the food, and then by the fact that it was cold. I ordered a pizza which was soaked in oil, and which seamed to have been made in disgust by the cook, with all the ingredients randomly thrown around the pie. La piece du resistance, a ball of burrata cheese, was literally thrown in the middle of the pizza, and left there to be half melted and half cooked. My girlfriend ordered fries, which arrived cold, and calamari, which were fried but all the breading that was supposed to be on them was inexistent. For sauces, they threw in the bag some fastfood sauces not what you would expect for a 20£/person meal! For desert, we had tiramisu, which, when opened after a 30 minute meal, was still frozen, and a canola siciliano, which was tasteless. I am writing this review after about 20 minutes from finishing the meal, and both my girlfriend and I are feeling quite sick in our stomachs, with me having quite bad cramps. I chose this restaurant based on its good reviews, so I am highly disappointed and recommend that everybody best avoids it."

"Went to Cuore for breakfast. Food is simple but nice and well executed. Prices are reasonable too I was surprised by the quality of the croissant. I prefer the french version which is more buttery but for UK standard this one is good Salmon/Bacon breakfasts took some time to arrive but it was worth it. Not a big fan of bacon usually but this one was well crispy I think if this place was bit more welcoming then it would be a 5*. We sat for some time without anyone saying hello. The restaurant was not packed so saying hello when a customer arrives is free and makes people feels welcomed The waitress was actually nice when we asked her some question"

"It's not a fancy location, but it's a welcoming Italian restaurant that offers good food. It's also conveniently located for those attending performances at Sadler's Wells."

"My colleague booked a table of 11 for a leaving meal. The first red flag should have been that they threatened a £25/head charge for any member of our party that couldn’t make it, but we missed that one. We arrived to find there isn’t really room for a table of 11 in the restaurant. The one set up ran back wall to front window, with barely any space to manoeuvre around it. The host (who I believe is also the owner, Jessica) made a nuisance of herself by getting in the way as we tried to figure out how we’d get people into the back of the table. We eventually managed once she left us alone. Those of us seated on that (back) side noted that the bench seat was very shallow and the pictures behind (at head height and lower) were at risk of being knocked off the wall if we made sudden movements. Not the comfiest. The table was set with £28/head fixed priced menus (see picture). When a member of the group questioned this and asked for the standard menu, we were told we should order from it as it’s too much hassle for the chef to prepare lots of different meals for different people. I must be mistaken in thinking that was the business of a restaurant. I feel it’s important to add that there were empty tables inside and out, so the place wasn’t exactly at capacity. The host insisted that they had informed my colleague when booking that we’d be eating from the set menu. This turned out to be untrue. Once this was cleared up, we were brought a new menu. The prices on this were different to the ones advertised on the website (higher, of course). Despite the menu having pizzas (just three, compared to the many on the online menu), we were told we could not order them. I personally felt like the host found it a hassle to serve us. Everything we asked seemed to trouble her. We weren’t offered an apology for any aspect of our experience, just excuses and a bit of an attitude. Once we’d ordered from the limited options made available to us, the experience did improve slightly. The lasagne was nice but overpriced at £18 a serving. Colleagues commented that they enjoyed their meals, but it wasn’t anything to write home about. The décor is nice. The young male waiter who served us was perfectly polite and helpful. The location is great. In summary, the problems seemed to centre around the host with poor customer liaison skills and a kitchen that is ill-equipped to serve multiple dishes at once. The restaurant’s claim that they are the ‘best Italian restaurant in London’ seems laughable to me. Perhaps we caught them on a bad day, but I won’t be returning to find out, and wouldn’t recommend to anyone else."

"Best pizza in Southeast London! This review is long overdue for our family's favorite spot, which we've been visiting for about three years. The pizzas are incredibly authentic, absolutely delicious, and offer fantastic value. What truly sets this place apart from the competition, aside from the amazing food, are the wonderful employees. Klaudia is exceptionally friendly and always greets us with a warm smile. She has a special connection with our 10-year-old daughter, making her feel extra special. They even create beautiful treats like heart-shaped pizzas for birthdays and serve refreshing limoncello. Alban, when he’s not busy cooking those amazing pizzas, is also very welcoming and always makes us feel appreciated. We can't recommend this place enough; it's perfect for regular family visits. We apologize for the delay in sharing our 5-star feedback – they truly deserve it!"

"in 46 years of my life I had a bad pizza, but that must have been the worst pizza I've ever had. our delivery lasted almost an hour. the pizza was cold and burned. the mushrooms were raw and they literally had slices of raw garlic on the pizza. I had to never fold my pizza into a package to eat it. that is literally how shocking the basic was. I had pizza in the democratic republic Congo and it was better that this was a mile!"

"This had good reviews and decided on this for a take away. It the most horrible pizza I’ve ever had. It was wet/ soggy. All the toppings slid off the pizza and was left with wet dough. Can’t believe they can continue to serve pizza to customers paying and literally robbing their money. You need to invest time to correct the basics."
