"the world. One of the highlights of our trip was dining at a charming little restaurant called "Le Petit Cafe". The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with soft lighting and comfortable seating. "Went as a last minute night out, wanted to dance so went here, rather than drinking we just danced. When we decided to get our first drink I went to the bar, the barmaid got the order wrong, I told her she denied it! Then the bouncer came and kicked us out for “being too drunk” we weren’t the bar maid did it because she got the order wrong and didn’t like being told she had! Absolute shambles, then the bouncer wouldn’t let us in to find the 2 girls from the rest of our party, good job none of us were on our own in the middle of Lincoln with nowhere to walk!"

"Ordered our food at 11am our food arrived at 1pm , 2 hours late . We were given one update to say it would arrive no later than 12:25 and that was also not true . Contacted the restaurant (if you can even call it that) and the person that answered the phone was rude and unhelpful. When I said how long we had been waiting the person responded with they don’t know where the food has gone and that it’s been with the delivery driver for the last hour .they also tried to make out we were liars for saying how long we had waited . Food arrived cold (as we expected with the ridiculous delay). Bacon was undercooked and everything was soaked in grease. I would strongly advise to never order from here again if you value your tastebuds and time . Ridiculous service and awful food."

"Went there for quick lunch and it was a little bit disappointed. Spend £3.50 on a coronation chicken sandwich and £1.10 on a can of juice. The baguette was dry like it was lying there for more than 2 days. The lady did not used a gloves and cut the ends of the baguette not sure why probobly cause it was too dry to eat. That really ruined my baguette. Took it on take away and I was all ready too far to talk to stay about it. A great name for a place and lovely staff however it would be nice to see gloves on staff hands when they are preparing the food and clean cutting boards."

"I have to be honest: this was the most unpleasant food and drink establishment I've ever visited. We had a reservation, but the table hadn't been cleaned. The entire place really needs a deep cleaning, and the staff could benefit from better training; nobody seemed to know whether our table was reserved or not. After wandering around, we found a table marked with a printout that we could only assume was ours. The menus were sticky, making it hard to even look at them. I was unable to order food through the app because there was no signal. After standing in a long line to order, I finally reached the register, only to be told that most items on the menu were unavailable and that we would have to wait 45 minutes to an hour for our food to arrive. My family and I decided to leave. Fortunately, we found a much better restaurant across the street where we had a fantastic time."

"edited assessment. yesterday again visited and got the steak halloumi and chicken halloumi wraps ... perfection, every bite would still say it is not cheap, but for quality and taste, definitiw five stars, and again, staff were excellent. probably controversial, but I think that's preferred to huh over the steak. had to increase from the stars for the first time in slims healthy kitchen, but the famous steak and halloumi wrap was aware. staff very friendly and helpful, place immaculate clean and service prompt. Sweet potato friries were great, as good as I had somewhere, and the garlic sauce in the pack, and the halloumi were absolutely perfect. steak was rarely cooked on request, only had to share my knife to certain, and the long strands of steak were not perfect for eating in a pack. was very tasty tho. also not the cheapest, but can see why it is a popular place."

"if they are looking for poor to standard quality and bad presentation for above average breakfast price, then this is their place. If not, then they avoid how they would be plagued! order an breakfast and a charge as it is the highest rated restaurant/café for my...postcode the charge and filling was standard, nothing to write home. the breakfast was pitiful. the tablet came awesome! However, the tablet was served at a place between and tipped over THEIR delivery service, so it was just a molke food. we have tried to contact them online via the phone number without joy. we have tried to find them on social media, they cannot find (if we were looking for social media presence before ordering), this would have been a huge red flag)! for what was received, the standard of presentation and quality of food, it was very expensive. Moreover, the veggie in the house went with a standard home breakfast, as the veggie breakfast was a normal full English' without the meat products, no alternatives like Veggie sausages. will I have been ordering from here? not even if it was the only place in coventry that served breakfast! would I recommend? read again the beginning of my review!"

"What a hidden gem! This place is bursting with exceptional customer service, really capturing the essence of Aylesbury. Now for the food… I was feeling a hearty meal and boy let me tell you it was hearty indeed. Starting with the toast, not a fan of the pre-buttered element as the toast was a bit soggy. However it paired well with in the other components. The egg was cooked to my preference, well-done, the sausages were plentiful, and the sprinkle of baked beans was perfect. Improvements could be made with the mushrooms as they were too chewy and over cooked. Furthermore, the bacon (halal) was a little on the crispy side but the smoke element was *chef’s kiss*. Moving on to the hash browns, an extra few minutes in the oven would have been fantastic for the crispy topping. To top it all off the spicy sauce complimented this dish well. Overall a solid 8.7 out of 10. I will be visiting in the near future."

"What a disaster! I arrived at Macy Browns on Saturday afternoon after having a table reservation for 2 weeks, only to find that they were closed. Despite receiving multiple emails about my reservation, the restaurant was not open. It was incredibly embarrassing as I had organized a work dinner and drinks. I spoke with the manager over the phone, who was unapologetic and uncaring. Based on other comments I've read, it seems this is a common issue that the manager allows to happen. He blamed the booking system being automated and not human-controlled for the mix-up."

"I really appreciated the concept of this restaurant, particularly their healthy eating menu. It's great to see wholemeal buns and similar options available, as they are not commonly found elsewhere. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive. The decor is modern and visually appealing, creating a nice atmosphere. However, the music was quite loud for a weekday lunchtime, and the dance tracks may not appeal to everyone. While the menu is extensive, I noticed a lack of vegetarian options, which was disappointing for a healthy eating establishment. "I visited today for the first time since the new owners took over. Having seen good and bad reviews we decided to take a chance and see for ourselves. We were very impressed with the new pods outside but opted to eat inside. We received a very friendly welcome and the inside all looks very nice. There seems to be less tables so not cramped at all. I ordered a beef burger and asked for the extra cheese option. The burger arrived with chips and a generous salad. Unfortunately the burger and bun were both burnt inside and they had put grated cheese inside not the usual cheese slice you would expect with a burger. The cheese was very strong and ruined the already burnt burger. We had seen another customer sending back a whole plate of food so things are not right. As we were eating a bin collection man came in and said to staff that he wouldn't empty their recycling bin as it had a load of food and maggots in it !! This totally put me off my food and left half my meal. On paying I was asked if everything was ok so I explained that my burger was burnt and not enjoyable due to the strong cheese and I received an apology and the cost of our two drinks were taken off the bill. On reflection I think it would have been fairer to not charge for the burger meal. Don't think I will be going back under present ownership which is a shame as myself and my family have enjoyed many breakfasts and lunches over the years"

"always eat great from here! the brot, whether it is a sandwich or a complete brot, is always soft and fresh. even when ordering, the brot is still warm, so it is freshly baked. large selection of food and surprising amount of hot food, including pizza. always delivered and served with ease and care. the people say the meal deal is expensive are not the fact that the meal deal is huge. even the bloomer sandwiches are very large and packed with fillings – they get what they pay. always like to go back!"

"I often bring guests to Jo's because the breakfasts are great value. This guest had been 2 years ago, and requested we return for Saturday breakfast. We were not disappointed. By 10a.m. there was a small queue for the door to open, and we were lucky to be third. We ordered breakfasts with tea and took our seats. By now the queue reached out the door! Two teas arrived soon after, and we didn't have to wait long before our plates arrived, full with bacon, egg, sausage, beans, black pudding, mushrooms, tomatoes and toast. Delicious. Total charge about £11, including the tea! Nowhere else comes close on price."
