"I was a little wary of this place being a chain (I usually prefer to support independent restaurants where possible) but I was specifically looking for a hearty vegan breakfast their offering sounded worth a try. I was very pleasantly surprised! The breakfast was great; very tasty an impressive variety of ingredients on the plate. Staff were friendly very accommodating. Happy I gave it a go!"

"Well what can i say about my buffet for my 30th birthday party. The food was delicious and plenty to say the least but what was different about this party is the personal touches that lisa made. Theme was a alice in wonderland mad hatters tea party and ingenious to put pickles and dips in tea cups and serve jam tarts (queen of hearts haha) on beautiful cake stands. My guests had nothing but praise for the food and said how delicious it all was. TI will defintely be recommending this ladies services to anyone wanting a personal catering experience. Thankyou lise. Your a star xxx What a turn around, wishing you all the best, keep serving them homemade oatcakes (with bacon and cheese, that I have to say are the dogs boll*cks) and you'll make that place. "Found randomly when looking for a cafe off the track out of the centre but outside seats and a good value offering.The pancakes with fruit were plentiful and tasty and nice hot drinks and a good menu offering.It is just a back street cafe and does seem to cater more for drinks and their just eat orders.It was a shame that we ate their but had it all on takeaway containers but not sure if this is just with the times but was a shame."

"When we went to order, I asked to taste the house white wine, but the girl looked at me as if I had crawled out from under a stone. I tried the house white, which was just okay. I don't want to spend my money on wine that is described as "house white" without being able to taste it first. Our food arrived quickly after we placed our order. I had the maple sriracha burger, but the patty was dry and not very tasty. My partner had the buffalo blue fried chicken, which was also dry and greasy. We were in a hurry to make it to a theatre show, so we quickly ate our food and left. The fries were good, at least. While it was a new experience for us, there are definitely better restaurants in the town center. It's always good to try new places, but unfortunately, we won't be returning to this restaurant. Lesson learned."

"Popped in for lunch on a recent trip to Edinburgh and was immediately drawn in by the cheerful appearance and extensive (and VERY reasonably priced) menu. We took so long to decide on our choices that it became a standing joke with the owner when we returned for brunch the following day! For such a small venture, the menu is vast, though the owner assured me that everything is homemade. Having tasted it, I believe him! My daughter enjoyed a toasted tuna and cheese bagel with a side of herby baked beans (utterly delicious), while I had the pulled pork and chipotle bean stew, which was topped with sour cream and jalapenos, and served with a side salad of leaves, tomato, toasted seeds and a balsamic drizzle. If you aren 't a fan of heat, it 's probably best to shy away from the stew as it was rather spicy, but it was tempered by the sour cream. The following day my daughter had the breakfast wrap, containing a 2 egg omelette, tomato, and a choice of filling. I had 'beans on toast ' which comprised homemade baked beans with thick slabs of crusty toasted bread, topped with a poached egg. As I can 't eat eggs, this was changed for a couple of rasher of bacon without a quibble. This is a fabulous little cafe with some really inventive items on the menu the Ultimate Macaroni Sandwich springs to mind! Give it a try!"

"I'm so glad I found this sweet jewel of a caffe. first, the coffee is amazing. but what is probably more amazing is probably the familiar atmosphere. they are very warmly welcomed by the owner. when they go up, they know that the caffe actually looks and feels like someone (very geeky) living room. they can come here with their children and play board games or with their friends to hang and play retro video games. I also ordered breakfast here and not only was it very tasty, but also very cheap."

"Traveled the whole way from the north with the family.We we're staying in skerries for a few days.Now we're tbh not a fussy bunch but the food was cold they ran out of larger on tap and the Guiness was fizzy???? Plus we were told we had 1hr 30 mins because they needed the table.There was 10 of us so it took 50 mins for the food to come out.On a positive note the steak was the nicest I've tastest in a long time.This is an honest review."

"Was recommended this spot for breakfast whilst I waited for my cars MOT. It turned out to be a fantastic recommendation. I had the full English breakfast could probably have had the half but was swayed by the selection. I didn't have to wait too long for it to arrive everything was hot, it did not disappoint. Very friendly staff, you can certainly see that this is a spot where people return time after time but you will be made to feel just as welcome if it is your first visit. "Visited here to celebrate a family engagement recently. To begin with the service was quick attentive. However, as the night progressed service become overwhelming and on the side of frustrating. When ordering the waitress disappeared for 5 minutes to figure out what they had...left On return she didn't even say anything just stared blankly. Odd. Once ordered, she then returned and said they didn't have any steaks for the Surf Turf' that was ordered. Weird Unsure how she missed telling us this when she asked the kitchen pre-ordering? Anyway, we were offered a replacement for the steak which we accepted without bother, with the agreement the steak would be discounted off the final bill. This however did not happen. Once food arrived...slowly may I add...In the space of 2 minutes we were asked by 3 different staff members if we were happy with everything around 6 or 7 times. Lovely they want to ensure we are ok, however when you haven't even started yet or you are trying to finish a mouthful you just want to eat in peace enjoy private conversation. Food was okay. Below par cold. After being, what felt like, hurried out of the door at the end (the staff clearly were ready to go home by 9pm) we were left feeling incredibly underwhelmed. All I can recommend is stay away from the Dianne Sauce."

"This is a very strange establishment. I visited with a group of friends who wanted the authentic Indian experience; what we got was a wait of almost a whole hour for mediocre food, despite being the only patrons. The venue was far too hot and a few of us had to step outside during our meal to cool down. Despite being the only people in attendance, we were not waited on. We were only provided with a single round of drinks (non-alcoholic only) and so we quickly made it through the few bottles of room-temperature water placed on our table. For any further requirements, we had to go and seek out a member of staff. We also had to locate the waitress when we wanted to pay, after realising nobody was coming to check on us."

"My wife and I visited for the valentine's Sunday roast course meal, we have ordered online delivery on a few occasions so it nice to actually go into the restaurant. We were met by really nice young waiter who was very attentive and pleasant....We both opted for the beetroot hummus starter which was so tasty, probably one of the best we've had. Then we had the nut-less roast which was so tasty and filling. We couldn't fit our afters in as we were full up, so we kindly asked the waitress to box it up to take home in which she kindly obliged. I had the passion cake and my wife had the brownie. We enjoyed them also. We can't wait to visit again soon."
