"The restaurant manager for lunch was miserable and unfriendly; sat us on a table and left us, no smile, no enjoy; however Abdul saved the day; he couldn't have been more helpful. You have an amazing asset in Abdul I couldn't have asked for more. In advance of lunch I bumped into Abdul in the foyer as I was looking lost he asked if i needed help it was at this point I said I needed to book for dinner. He didn't just point me in the direction but escorted me where I needed to go and waited until I was being seen. Without Abdul you would have had a complaint from me about the afternoon; however as it was he was truly amazing and i could not have asked for more of him; however his colleagues need to take a leaf out of his book. If customer service isn't their forte then they should not be in the hospitality business"

"Came especially for the vegan menu (I’m vegetarian as I heard good things about it. Drove from Lisburn all the way to Parkgate and had 2 very enjoyable nights. First night I had the cauliflower popcorn (bit too salty for my liking and the sweet potato roulade (amazing! . My husband had the soup of the day (very nice and the risotto (little bit stodgy, looked as if cooked too quick . For dessert I had the apple/berry crumble which was very nice and husband had sticky toffee (also gorgeous! . Decaf oat latte’s at the end sealed the deal. Just delighted to be able to order a good decaf coffee! Next evening returned with a friend. I had the salted chilli stir fry (verrry salty, but that’s what it says on the tin and the cauliflower pie. The pie was a bit of a let down. The gravy was overbearing, essentially, the whole dish tasted of gravy. I would have preferred to get it in a dish on the side (like with the roulade to add the amount I prefer myself. Same desserts again this evening, both again very nice. Service was ok, young girls mainly and you could tell some were a bit inexperienced but that really didn’t impact us. Food came out super quick! I will def be back, altho I won’t be ordering the pie again and I hope next time I will be able to try the “scallops” as they were sold out both nights (sat 6pm and sun 7.30pm and they just sounded amazing! If your hesitating to go for the vegan menu, don’t!! It’s the best vegan offering I have encountered to date. I really hope they keep it up."

"I used to frequently visit Glasgow, which felt like a second home to me, 30 years ago. Cafe Gandolfi was always one of my favorite spots, particularly for breakfast but also for dinner on occasion. After moving to Germany and not returning to Glasgow for nearly three decades, I recently had the opportunity to travel back to the UK for business. With some apprehension, I arrived at Cafe Gandolfi without a reservation, worried that it may not live up to my memories. Luckily, I was able to secure the last available table and was delighted to find that the food and service were just as exceptional, if not better, than I remembered, all while maintaining its unique charm. It was quite an emotional experience, to be honest."

"VERY DISAPPOINTING. Had heard a lot about the pub so was really looking forward to it. Not the greatest start waiting over 5 minutes to be served then being charged £12.20 for 2 pints of ale and a coke in the bar beforehand ! [How do these places justify charging £4.80 a pint ?! Restaurant welcome and service was very good but felt the food like the drinks was overpriced Over £7 for a Venison pate starter with Malted Sourdough bread which turned about to be 2 x half slices of the hardest, driest bread I 've ever had. Our burgers were good but not worth the money. The dessert made up for it a little mainly due to is size. Overall take away the restaurant service element and it was a very disappointing, very expensive, meal. Wouldn 't recommend, and won 't be back !"

"Excellent value cafe, just note that it's cash only (I don't know if this is temporary or permanent). They will pop your order through first and allow you to go and get cash, easiest is across the road at tesco. Went with a friend, she had a full builders breakfast for only £5 as it was ordered before 10.30am. I had brioche french toast with strawberries and banana. I asked if I could have some scrambled eggs on the side, no issue. The food was gorgeous, soft and really thick bread full of flavour, topped with icing sugar. Also had a chocolate orange milkshake which was really strong as well and lovely. Lovely staff in the cafe, great service and very chatty. Happy to help. Seems to be a little hidden gem of a cafe, we'd not visited before. We were actually due to attend a different cafe for breakfast but arrived to find it closed so went here instead which seemed to be a major upgrade anyway we were well pleased with our visit. Loads of variety on the menu, can't wait to go back."

"Had a lovely meal for my daughters birthday, a fair choice of food to choose from, the wine was very good. The staff were all friendly and helpful, a very pleasant evening and we will be going back again soon! It was a little chilly sat by the door as the main entrance doors opened there was a rush of cold air, could have been better with the restaurant doors closed."

"The dining experience was enjoyable but not exceptional. The service was satisfactory, though not outstanding. It seems there may be a disconnect between the expectations set by their branding (aiming for a Gordon Ramsay-level quality) and the reality of their offerings, which seem more aligned with wanting to be superior to chains like P.F. Chang's. I would be willing to return, but likely with a smaller group, as I don't feel they manage larger parties very well."

"This is an exceptional restaurant and a great addition to the Battersea food scene. And in a sensational location adjacent to the lake in the Park. Very well crafted/cooked and beautifully presented food at great value prices. It opened only a couple of months ago and will undoubtedly improve even further. All of our dishes were outstanding with the exception of the San Daniele ham starter which was just good. A bit unfair because the other dishes were so good and this one didn't have personality like the others. The wine list needs to improve and you will need good hearing because the whole room is hard surfaces which of course doesn't help the noise levels particularly as the wine starts to flow.… We are already regulars."

"This place is fantastic. The staff were all friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The distillery tour is great, and you get to taste whisky, vodka, and gin at the end. The shop has a great selection of spirits and is very well-kept. The bistro on site is a bit pricey for what you get - I found my beef sandwich to be a bit lacking for £13.50. However, the whisky tour was the highlight for me, with plenty of on-site parking and a beautiful setting. Kudos to the staff and owners for creating such a great experience. Well done!"

"I made a reservation months in advance for an indoor table, specifying that it was a special occasion - my 40th birthday. However, the day before, they informed me that we would have to sit outside and our reservation would be pushed back by an hour and a half. I expressed my dissatisfaction and they promised to call me back. Ultimately, they did honor my original request for an indoor table, but the whole situation caused unnecessary stress, especially since we had traveled from the Scottish Borders to dine there. Unfortunately, our table was cramped and located right by the door. It was disappointing."

"Having passed the sign outside saying pop up restaurant, shop, etc we decided to go and have a look. This being a Saturday Not knowing what to expect we were really impressed by the buildings and presentation. Upon entering the door we were approached by a waiter who it turned was the owner. We explained that we had popped in to see what was on offer. Well it was like trying to extract blood from a stone, we really should have known. Eventually he did offer up information and as the venue was extremely attractive we decided to have a coffee and a hot chocolate, both fine. Whilst having our drinks we enquired of a female waitress if the restaurant did a Sunday roast. She confirmed they did. A little reticent we duly booked for 3 pm the next day a table for 3 persons. On the Sunday we arrived and were shown to a table set for 3 by the owner and we apologised that only 2 could make it. The extra place seating was begrudgingly removed. The change from 3 to 2 had not caused any rearrangement of table placement etc. As we were taking our seats the owner stated we have run out of Beef, no apology, nothing. My wife and I sat down and studied the menu. Having studied the menu to see that on offer was pizza, a salad, hake with rice and pasta. I beckoned to the owner and asked was there any replacement for the Sunday roast as there was no similar type dishes on the menu. The owners reply was gobsmacking. No there was no replacement/substitute, no apology and if we didn 't like we were free to walk. Not wishing to outstay our 'welcome ' we duly 'walked '. So we have a restaurant at 3pm on a Sunday running out of roast, the reason we booked, offering no apology , no appropriate replacement displaying a truely unbelievable attitude from the owner. As we left there were numerous other parties arriving, I hope they didn 't require a roast on a Sunday. I can live with stock shortages, but there are ways of dealing with a situation. What I cannot live with is an arrogant attitude from owners to their guests. This I cannot overlook. You might say a bad day at the office, but we experienced the same attitude 2 days running, there will not be a third. As it happens we are local and may have considered this location for our daughters wedding, absolutely not now. If the owner is interested we did get a Sunday roast at a nice pub/restaurant just up the road and yes they were busy."

"We had a delightful brunch experience. It felt like we were at home - we were welcomed and able to relax. The food arrived promptly, and when one item needed to be warmed, it was provided as an extra at no additional charge. The value for money was excellent, the food was tasty, and the service was relaxed and easy. We will definitely be making a reservation again."

"We were very disappointed with our return visit to Zetter. We used to really enjoy the food, but the new, Club Zetter, menu just doesn't work for us. The cup of soup was satisfactory, but we didn't like the taste of anything else, including the risotto. The service made up for it a bit, by being exceptionally good, and the ambiance was fine."

"Our second visit to Zetter left us feeling disappointed. We used to love the food here, but we were not impressed with the new Club Zetter menu. The soup was decent, but the rest of the dishes, including the risotto, did not meet our expectations. However, the exceptional service and pleasant ambiance helped make up for the lackluster food."

"We had a steak and ribs to start with. The ribs were fantastic, they fall off the bone and were absolutely delicious. The steak was served with a peppercorn sauce, which in my views was a bit different, but actually one of the best l have had. Overall a great place with good steaks and ribs for the meat lovers out there. The only niggle that I would have, is the smell off those ordering meat on a stone. Despite we didn’t ordered it, we did leave we the smell. However, that did ruin the experience we had. Food wise good overall a good experience. I will come back for the ribs..."

"The Blue Teapot is a quaint little café with a delightful menu. The specials change frequently and they are more than happy to accommodate vegan restrictions (there’s always a selection of vegan meals on the menu too I ordered the from the specials menu the vegan samosa. I was absolutely delighted when it arrived to see that they were actually baked; sure that’s not authentic, but absolutely perfect for me as I’m not a fan of fried foods where I can help it. The flavours were spot on, and the dish was a pleasure both taste and visual wise, but also perfect portions for lunch! The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was relaxing, we felt right at home. I’ll definitely go out of my way to visit again when I’m in the area, it was just a really lovely experience. "The restaurant has a wheelchair accessible entrance, but the door is heavy. I had to wait for 10 minutes as all the top tables were reserved, but the server quickly explained the delay. There were two friendly front of house servers who were courteous and sanitized the tables between customers. I could see behind the counter from my table and watched a young lady making drinks and returning milk to the refrigerator. My drink and cake arrived promptly. The carrot cake was filled with nuts and had a delicious frosting. The hot chocolate had a balance between milk and dark chocolate, giving it a strong flavor. Despite the cold temperature outside, the inside of the restaurant did not feel too warm."

"Hudsons by chance, and I must say that I wouldn't go out of my way to visit again unless I happened to be in the Putney area. However, if you happen to be in the neighborhood, it's a decent choice for a meal."
