"pleasant liverpool bistro. in the rodney street, 2 minutes from eating mekka, the hope street is. it is a welcoming bistro type location, friendly and vague I really enjoyed my meal there, especially the starter. we started with a ham-hock pudding and a mini-fish cake. the hammock was in suet (I believe). General and damp pieces, cooked in the juices. there was a somewhat less generous screed of oxford sauce we followed with lemon sole and crab crushed kartoffels with homemade tartaric acid. once again could have been done with a little more lubrication. and a lamb in a red wine sauce that could have cooked with another half an hour, so it fell from the bone but all the most pleasant...read more"
