"What a fantastic little find. I'd been wanting to go to a Carribbean restaurant where you can actually sit down and was so happy when I came across 24 carat bistro online. Me and my husband were celebrating our 5 year anniversary and we wanted to go somewhere different. We were greeted by Jan who was very attentive to us, asked if we would like to chose where we sat. She gave us some good recommendations on what to eat and the specials of the Cajun Mac and cheese were amazing great choice and definitely need adding to your permanent menu. Loved the vanilla rum and ginger beer and the passion fruit rum and lemonade was also a hit. Husband had the goat curry and I had the jerk chicken. Both were delicious we had empty plates. Jan gave us good recommendations for dessert, husband had the profiterole and I had the rice pudding. I loved the pink touch. Thank you. "The waitresses were lovely and food was ok but the manager wasn’t very nice. My cousin cannot tolerate pepper and so asked for BBQ instead of jerk and was told this was fine however when the food came it was still full of pepper. When we spoke to the manager about it he didn’t seem to understand or care, we then realised that all the meat is marinated in jerk so although bbq sauce was added it was still jerk which meant he was unable to eat. He wasn’t offered any alternative and the dish wasn’t removed from the bill. The manager instead said he would remove the service charge however service charge is discretional and is for the waitresses! so I did not really feel that that was the solution. Anyway it’s fair to say we will never be returning"

"On the same level as East London’s JerkPit but in Kent. I ordered via UberEats and one item was missing. Luckily my mum’s house has 24 hour CCTV outside and inside her home with audio. The driver stated there was a hole in the plastic bag on arrival. This issue was resolved promptly by the manager of the restaurant. My only issue is that the business isn’t sustainable as it’s using plastic bags and containers instead of paper that can be stapled, taped and double bagged. They did try to give me a free drink, but I don’t drink that and didn’t accept. I’d suggest either asking the customer via phone or choosing on their behalf a drink that is universal like Coca Cola or water. Ginger Beer is like Supermalt; an acquired taste not everyone likes it. I’ll recommend it to people looking for Caribbean restaurants in Kent because it’s managed efficiently by Zena Deirdre Campbell. "The three of us have spend a fantastic moment at Reggie's restaurant ! This lady is as sweet as the food she prepares in her kitchen, with so much love and attention for details. I had the pleasure to taste the brown stew chicken, it was slowly cooked for hours and the meat was melting, it was incredible! My two friends took the jerk chicken and it was perfectly spiced with a syrupy sauce, a real moment of happiness. "

"I was by the day when I was loading and went to check it out. I ordered the mutton curry and a part of jerk chicken. the food was finished with 5 minutes. I am glad that I took it home because I was in a chaos according to the jerk chicken- it was nice and I was comfortable away like a pig in the privag of my own house! the Mutton curry with rice bases was very good with lots of meat. a very good amount of food when considering that it was a small part. next time, I'll order a big one and ask for a few noodles. a punt if you have something else behind you."

"they have transformed this old building into a really nice cozy little caffe! this place is very clean inside and outside and the service with a smile safe. if it wasn't raining, we would have eaten outside, but inside is really nice and cozy. Eating was excellent, and being out of the usa, I asked for an ice cream that wasn't on the menu and she made a really wonderful glass ice cream! "this place is amazing! I have always heard good things, but had never tried to jerk so bad when I like it. but tonight the woman and I decided to go, and I'm so glad we did. the ruck huh is amazing, sweet with a nice grill taste. the fried chicken was beautiful, not fat. the chicken cure was great, reis and exhort great. dumpling and festival were amazing. there was so much to eat. I can't move physically now, but one of the best things I've ever eaten in this city."

"Called in yesterday with the Mrs to get a nice selection of Jamaican food for my Jamaican grandkids. Had Jerk, Oxtail, Goat and Akee and Saltfish along with some sides. This food is so good I would happily just eat a bowl of rice and peas, I don’t know what they do to make it so nice. The Guinness punch, wow, I will get 10 portions next time. I have only tried 4 other Jamaican cafes in Bristol, but I have found my piece of heaven, I don’t need to check any more out. The Oxtail and Goat were so tender and tasty, best I have ever had and I am 68. The staff are lovely and passionate about their food. Next time I will order my food the day before. I did order £200 of food and I must apologise to their regulars who were disappointed as there was very little left for them. Why this place is not yet in the top 100 in Bristol, I don’t know, but I am certain it will be very soon. Please don’t pass through Bristol without giving this place a try, it will definitely be in your top 10,"
