"As someone who is lactose intolerant, I often face challenges when dining out; however, the staff here was incredibly accommodating. Instead of rolling their eyes at my request for lactose-free options, the server quickly brought me an adjusted menu that catered to my needs. For just £10, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast, complete with hot drinks, and we added some toasts as well. Just a small note: when we arrived at 8:50 AM, the place wasn’t open yet. Despite that, I definitely plan to return for another fantastic breakfast!"

"Good evening, On Saturday of this month (January), I made a reservation for people at Coast to Coast Restaurant and I always use open table everytime I go there with family, friends or my husband. I also use this (Open table) to any other nice restaurants in London and I have never had a problem. When we got there at the time of our reservation, the guy that was as the Host position or in the Reception welcoming all the people was so rude (he was bald as I don’t have his name). We got there, said we had a reservation, and he said he didn’t have anything then we showed him the confirmation from OpenTable and his words were: “I don’t have anything, sorry”. WHATS IS THAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Is AWFUL. I get there can be some mistakes but it is unacceptable the way he answered to a place we go to enjoy with friends and then this just makes it not want to come back. I go to loads of different restaurants and they have never treated us like that. If they are not gonna have the reservations then don’t promotion your restaurant in OpenTable cause it makes it an inconvenient believing you have something and then realizing you don’t."

"The food as such was fine, I had brisket, burnt ends and fries, but the fries were clearly reheated and pretty much on the crispier side of being edible. There were no condiments being offered, and I had to specifically ask for some. Service was indifferent but timely. In total, I would say it was not value for money."

"I love Cafe Tibo and went to the open mic night on Sunday to hear my friend sing. I was seated up the back of the bar and I feel the acoustic could be better. There were other tables close to mine who were a...bit noisy but I think that's because the sound never really reached them so it was harder to keep them quiet. If the sound space was more evenly balanced across the whole cafe then people would be less inclined to talk during performances which would probably please the artists as well. Just my suggestion !!"

"I ordered a turkey gobbler sub and was surprised to find it made with smoked turkey and without jellied cranberry sauce. Unfortunately, the sub was quite disappointing and very salty. My friend paid for it, so I didn't voice my concerns at the time, but the shop really needs to improve their sub-making skills. I used to run a deli, and our turkey gobblers were definitely worth reordering, unlike this one."

"Went in for breakfast after having a positive experience the day before. Pancakes were stale around the edges, rolls we’re starting to go hard, and the ‘American Melt’ is just a bacon roll with cheese we were expecting something a little more interesting. A thing to note, if you order food as a large group it doesn’t all come out at the same time, 2 people at our table were finished before the last 2 got their meal. Staff were not very welcoming and we didn’t even get a ‘thank you’ when leaving a tip in the jar, which they definitely saw. Overall very disappointing after having such a lovely breakfast the day before. Don’t think I’ll be back as clearly there is no consistency."

"The burger was very tasty and but it could have done with being a little warmer. I think that if the plate had been warm it would have help and the chips were not hot enough to have melted the cheese completely and you could see that it was a prepacked slice of square cheese. That was the only downside and I am sure that I will go back again as it is so good to find a place that serves burgers the way they should be cooked and not the overcooked undertasty burgers that other better known places sell."

"I generally try to avoid chain restaurants, but after some very disappointing previous experiences in regard to vegan food while I was working in Aberdeen, this place was a total relief! The menu is clearly labelled with vegan options which are approved by The Vegan Society. I had a sweet potato and bean burger with pineapple and jalapenos which was delicious and very filling. The seasoned fries were a little disappointing, but really the burger was filling enough on its own. I would definitely come back here again if visiting Aberdeen in the future."

"I had a burger here and it wasn't bad. It wasn't great either. It certainly wasn't as good as the promise on the hoarding outside, which said that every Burger hand made. I do not say that the burger was not handmade (as I would know), but if it was to bury it under so much tomatoes, cheese and dressings; not to mention the role. This is all standard tariff for a burger, but the problem here is that the burger is quite small, so it is quite difficult to notice it among all other things. The chips were not bad, but my Cajun variety was a bit of a conjunctive because the powder that was used was sprinkled on dry and not fritted for a few seconds, and each amateur cook knows that spices need a few seconds of oil to extract the flavors. What made this place good was the decor, its position and above all the friendly staff. The Italian waiter looks a little serious, but he's cool and the chefs are great and told me they came from East Timor. Two of the stars above are for them."

"where should I start? starts with a phone call (2pm) asking if I still need my table for 2 around 7pm, not really how I booked a table of 3 and confirmed my booking confirmation 3 people. I didn't think a problem was really wrong, but...now they're aware that there are actually 3 people as a confirmation. we should be so happy, we arrive on time at 7 o'clock the host on the writing rushes to his colleague to get her place a chair on the temporary table for 2 (this table has been booked since over 2 weeks) we are placed on a table that can only be described as coffee table that does not fit to eat. the waitress comes then all I can say is that I have never met such an rude waitress, I can suspect that she finds an alternative career, since hospitable is clearly not her field. no person should ever feel at eating, we were sitting for 10 minutes they were asking us 4 times when we were ready to order, we ordered our drinks, as we felt, so rushed into order something, she then asked about our food order, we did not say quite ready for eating again, so she rolled her eyes down and just went and had a good old moan about us to her colleagues. that was that the camels returned for us. we decided to leave the manager we left, she asked us what the problem was and to be honest, she couldn't take care less."

"I recently dined at handmade burger and had a great experience. The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and our waiter was very patient as I decided what to order. I had a voucher for a £1 Burger/Salad deal, which was incredible. I opted for the American cheese burger, which arrived quickly and was delicious. The only downside was that it was quite greasy and the bun got soggy. I also received a side salad with tomatoes, even though I had asked for them to be removed from my burger, which was a bit odd. Despite that, my meal only cost £6.85 for a burger, drink, and side salad, which was a great deal."

"a little trenches online and I soon found out that the handmade burger company had opened a Manchester chain on deansgate, so I thought it was worth visiting in the established leeds restaurant whether it was a new star or a wet salate. the restaurant is very modern and invites from the outside and there was also no waiting queue. when my friend and I were in a hurry, encouraged us to eat here and we were quickly shown to our table."

"Came to The Village Hotel Liverpool for Sunday Carvery and only have one word.....amazing! Arrived first of all to the Public House which was busy and had a nice atmosphere. We were lead through to the Restaurant by Amy who was very helpful and explained everything to us in regards to the Carvery! The soup was brought to the Table (delicious) and everything else is self service. There was a large selection of Cold starters available which again were delicious and were very well presented. The Carvery was hot and plentiful and presented really well could not fault a single thing! The Apple Pie at the end was a nice touch and lots of other dessert selection including an ice cream machine which was really good for the kids! After the Carvery we went through to the Bar for the quiz which we really enjoyed and even came 2nd! Well done Village Liverpool you have excelled yourselves once again!"

"some family members (7) for carvery at 16 o'clock on Sunday. the starter dried up, suppe would not come out of cripple, so had to remove top lid. only a lump cold crippled chaos. brotrolles stone-resistant. haupt was also terrible, end of the dried truthahn (server apologized) ham fat and no bark meat. veg and kartoffeln soggy and straight back from the beginning. so greasy and cold. there was a table with breakfast eating on him, ie, croissants, marmelade. seeded muffing and granola. that's what my two have eaten. we complained to the server, he laughed and said yes, it was left from the breakfast! Never in my 60 years I had such a embarrassing and unusable meal. I have never seen a negative comment on any side, but that was completely unacceptable. I sent an email, but not sure if I sent it correctly. we spent a lot of money on this meal and had to take the children to a quick food can on the way home. I was very annoyed when I chose this place, felt very annoyed by all the experience. unnecessary to say we will not come back or recommend this karvery experience. someone must look seriously at the quality of the food. kartoffeln, supposedly roasted, where only white in the color and covered with fat. there were maybe 10 kartoffels on the server and there were 7 of us on our party, but we asked and said there was no more. I don't know why we stayed. a few days later I can not stop thinking about this meal and feel rude that we are not about a refund, probably just too polite to do this."

"However, the manager was able to resolve the noise issue by setting up a table in the lobby area for us. The manager was very attentive and we were pleased with the service we received. Unfortunately, when we went to the lobby at 4:30 a.m. to check in, we were met with a noisy environment due to the televisions. This prompted us to leave immediately. An employee had to shout over the noise to assist us with the check-in process. I would suggest that the restaurant either turn off the loud music in the lobby or risk losing customers in the future."

"my partner and I thought we'd go this place as far as we haven't seen a chain yet. after that it was quite small, but seemed cozy. we sat down and the waiting were ready to take our order. we managed to make a decision on which burger we wanted when they all sounded nice. our food came out in time and the service was good. the taste of the burger was amazing and could not knock it at all, for me it was perfectly cooked. my partner has the Mexican burger and the guacamole has an amazing taste. the waiter we had was very friendly and gave us a good time. with the place that was so small, they had to turn the people away again and again, but it made the place cozy and more concentrated waiting."

"This was my first visit to the restaurant since they changed to a Sunday menu. The bottomless starter still had a great selection and quality. I enjoyed the three turkey roasts and one beef roast that I selected, but I would have preferred to eat from a regular plate rather than a wooden one. The dessert choice was a breakfast brunch which was satisfying this time. It would have been nice if ice was included in the price. The staff was fantastic - friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning."
