"Went in for breakfast after having a positive experience the day before. Pancakes were stale around the edges, rolls we’re starting to go hard, and the ‘American Melt’ is just a bacon roll with cheese we were expecting something a little more interesting. A thing to note, if you order food as a large group it doesn’t all come out at the same time, 2 people at our table were finished before the last 2 got their meal. Staff were not very welcoming and we didn’t even get a ‘thank you’ when leaving a tip in the jar, which they definitely saw. Overall very disappointing after having such a lovely breakfast the day before. Don’t think I’ll be back as clearly there is no consistency."

Popped in today for a coffee and a toasted sandwich. Coffees came quickly but the toastie seemed to take a while, I actually thought they had forgotten. My main issue with this place is there is a lack of atmosphere and the staff are pleasant enough but seem more interested in each other rather than the people coming in. I'm not sure I will go back tbh. I like to support local businesses and love quirky places to grab a coffee, I'm not sure this place is hitting the mark.. View menu

Sunday morning walk in with only one table seated at the time we arrived. Menu and ordering are simple enough, coffee is really nice in the place. Waited a considerable amount of time before asking for our food. You'd think one of the 5 people behind the counter would notice we didn't have our order. Once served the toast, scrambled eggs, and bacon were a little underwhelming but the clincher was definitely the side salad which was neither asked for nor mentioned on the menu. I would suggest a little spinach if you want garnish on the plate but it really wasn't required. Like I say, coffee is lovely, but get it to take away!

First time at the cafe, ordered a tea and a large mocha. The drinks were pretty good and came to around £6, staff working were friendly, however don’t think I would return. The reason for this is that the place just seemed a bit run down and I saw the chef walking with individual piece of food uncovered on a small plate through the whole cafe and over to the girls behind the counter on several occasions. Where was the food being prepped and why is it being carried around, seemed a bit odd. They have upcycled wood for tables which is a great idea but they are in need of attention! Look in the pictures you can see Under the tables are filthy and puts you off.
