"We were looking for something to eat before the rugby and regards to the reviews we thought it would be good restaurant with nice food ! But not sure who writes the reviews as the food was awful! Not worth a penny! Pizza is definitely not a home made pizza and you can get much much better in Waitrose ! The tomatoes on the bruschetta was definitely old and not a good quality and tasted awful. Very disappointing!"

"Pathetic, waited 3 hours for delivery, when we phoned to chase the order the second time I spoke to some rude women who showed no compassion or empathy and didn’t apologise for the delay!? 25 minutes later we saw a confused looking guy carrying a delivery bag but had no car. I refused delivery and the poor delivery driver said he was only given the order 20 minutes ago!?!?We decided to order from a competitor of Cavaliere which arrived quickly and who we will be using in future.To the owners of the Cavaliere we understand that occasionally these things can happen BUT to spoken to in that manner by a member of staff is completely unacceptable!"

"I took some nonJewish teachers from my department for an evening meal and they were very impressed although the fish was incredibly expensive the salads and Thai food were much more reasonable and the portions were very generous. The salads were delicious and the restaurant very happy for you to customise your salad to suit preferences. Overall an excellent experience and all would be happy to return"

"The ‘big bagel’ was nice enough as were the chips. Sweet friendly waitress. Please do not order the nachos-they are flavourless and in my opinion the tortilla chips a little stale. Was a little hard work trying to get someone’s attention for the bill. I think they could do with one more member of staff to keep things running more smoothly eg clearing tables, wiping down seats and supplying the bill more promptly. I voiced my opinion at the time re the nachos but was met with a vacant stare and a ‘no ones ever complained about them before ‘. They bizarrely offered to take 10% off the cost of the nachos. A more commercially savvy response would have been ‘so sorry you didn’t like the nachos Ill take them off the bill as you’ve barely touched them. Hope to see you again next time’ There’s lots of competition in the area who in my opinion offer waaay better service. I believe the owner was behind the counter at the time who took no ownership of the situation-that was a shame but hey ho that’s why some businesses succeed and others don’t stand the test of time."

"My sister recommended this restaurant to me and I have to say, the pizzas are delicious. The nachos are also very tasty. However, the chips and cheese were not great. The biggest issue with this place is the delivery service. It seems like they only have one driver, and they definitely need to hire another one. Both times we ordered, it took 2 hours for the food to be delivered! Last night, I called twice and was told the first time that they had suddenly gotten busy. Maybe they only have one chef? So if customers walk in, they don't have enough chefs to handle telephone orders as well? The second time I called, the girl said she was putting in cakes for us as a gesture. When it arrived, there was only one piece of cake, even though there were clearly multiple people eating. It's a shame because the pizzas are amazing and I've heard the kebabs are too. If I order again, I will definitely be picking it up myself. Just some constructive criticism here - I don't like leaving negative feedback, but if you improve your delivery service, I'm sure you will receive 5 stars in the future."

"Exceptional standard of food! I don’t think I’ve ever had lamb as tender as this it melted in your mouth! Cocktails were delicious, Kids portion is plenty big enough I would have been happy with this size myself. They brought out a birthday dessert free of charge which was a lovely extra. Service was great, so all in all I would highly recommend this restaurant and I’m already looking forward to next time! Thank you. P.s I usually have something to complain about lol but there was nothing to fault at all."

"We had lunch at Wanderlust because it was close to where we were and we had seen that it had four stars on HappyCow, but we were disapponted and should have read the more recent reviews first. There is not a large choice of vegan food anymore and all of the vegan lunch dishes are based on mock chicken, so we had the vegan breakfast for lunch (we don‘t enjoy mock chicken). This would have been ok because a traditional Scottish breakfast can be very filling, however, the food was mediocre or even worse. It arrived after a few minutes and was clearly just warmed up. It all lacked taste and seasoning and we did not finish our meals although we still felt hungry. My husband had the lemonade which was ok. I had the peach iced tea which had almost no flavour and tasted like infused water. Moreover, the staff were not that welcoming. This place looks so cute from the outside but with so many restaurants to choose from in Edinburgh, we would not go here again. Visited in October 2023 Updated from previous review on 2023 10 19"

"on the other day, we ate here for the 5th pound. very surprised by the quality as not much expect for £5. I had the hunch and pfeffer salat and my partner had a usual turn on cottage pie, it was a chilli cottage pie with sweet potato mash with cheese covered. it was a good value for money and eating was very good. very tasty . as a bonus there were 20% outside our drinks, happy hour, could easily be happy all day, but we had to get back to work. we both commented on how good the real was, tribute and bath according well made racks and we will return soon."

"4 of ate here. 2 had wings, 1 scallops and a prawn pil pil for starters. All really good. My prawn linguine main was excellent. The chicken bang bang and burger were enjoyed. I had a taste of the seafood lasagne which was superb. The Eton mess for dessert was ok. Would prefer all strawberries rather than mixed berries. We had 2 beers, 1 sparkling water and a tea. With an average tip, it was €200 for the 4 of us so it isn't cheap. Service was good."

"After two weeks traveling around in Scotland, including the uppermost coastal parts of the Highlands. we just needed some real straight and good Italian food : and that was what we found here. We fully recommend this place but one should be aware that value speaking not much is for free there like everywhere in 2023 Scotland and especially in Edinburgh : Quite lively restaurant thus a bit noisy and frantic in the evening."

"This always looks busy at noon, but we went on a Friday night and it was very quiet. The food was not great, the garlic bread was definitely microwave, like my pasta dishes. The pizza was at least freshly cooked, but the toppings were dry. The service was very fast, but let us feel very eager, the minute I finished, they took my plate, despite the fact that my partner still eats! When she took our starter plates, we were asked if we wanted our net or wanted a break. Assuming that our foods are freshly cooked, we now said that a 10 minutes wait or so, but they brought it within 30 seconds. We were in and out in about 40 minutes with a drink, starter and a main thing. Not the relaxed and fresh food we hoped for! As I said, it is always busy on the day so maybe the food and service is better then but I would definitely not recommend for dinner."

"The Fish Dish is a fantastic chip shop located in the heart of Bradford City Centre. It can get quite busy during lunchtime, but the wait is usually fast. The food is always freshly prepared and of high quality. The prices are very reasonable, even lower than the average chip shop. Their chip butties are generously filled with chips, with large portions offered. There is a seating area where you can place your order and have it brought to you. I did have a slightly less positive experience when dining in, as the chips appeared to be a bit old, but this may have been an isolated incident. Overall, The Fish Dish is my top choice for a chip shop in Bradford and I highly recommend it to everyone!"

"Not the best experience I have had in Aberdeen, not the worst though. Tried it twice to see if it was just luck of the draw and not it seems. Staff seemed more interested in having a chat and not so much in service. Several food options, but baffling to be honest as to why French toast served with maple syrup would be served with a side salad with a balsamic reduction. Just seems a clash of ideas. The cookie I had first visit was soft and chewy and what you want from a cookie. Coffee was lacklustre and not worth the visit, there is a Cafe Nero across the street so if you are just after average coffee better off going there."
