"We met close family to celebrate or 50th wedding anniversary, and can honestly say this was the best afternoon tea we have ever had. From the minute we opened the door till we left we found the staff extremely attentive and very friendly. The food was outstanding, the surroundings superb and the whole ambiance of the Drawing Room was perfect. A totally delightful afternoon. As we live in the north of Scotland, it will probably be a while before we are back in London, but when we are The Drawing Room at Browns is a must. Thank you for making our celebration such a success"

"Discovered this place by accident and was not disappointed. A wonderful gem hidden away in the heart of the shopping district in Coventry city, opp West Orchids shopping centre. It is a family business, hence the attention to detail in service, quality of food and shop decor. Enchanting and relaxing. The ambience was just great and I love the Oriental/Middle Eastern vibe inside. This is not a greasy spoons cafe nor is it a pompous high-end restaurant. However, it is a place for great food and provides a place to unwind and retreat from the world outside. I came for a late lunch (a halal lamb wrap with chips) which was absolutely delicious. Knowing I was staying one night in Coventry and having checked the menu, I decided was going to return for the vegetarian breakfast the next day. Again, I was not disappointed. The ambience was great, food was fantastic and staff polite and welcoming. I would give Bagel Brunch 6 stars if I could. Can't praise it enough. I returned to Bagel Brunch yesterday and again, was not disappointed. The place was buzzing as expected. This time I ordered a chicken bagel and it was the best bagel I’ve had in a long time! The yoghurt and mint dressing with chicken, in a lightly toasted sesame bagel, were just the perfect combination. Staff are always polite. I hope this family business bounces back in leaps and bounds after Covid. They deserve to continue to do well."

"this was our second visit and the standard of the food has decreased considerably. we had the same as before, the smokeys platter. the ribs were hard and overlooked. the brisket dry and chicken leg bland. the black rate was the best on the plate. the plate was also smaller than before. the service was not present, we had to ask for cutlery for our eating. we were not asked how our food was or we wanted more drinks etc....the atmosphere was very quiet. we could hardly hear behindground music. Unfortunately we won't come back, we were a group of six couples."

"I got a roll and square sausage and tattie scone and a roll and black pudding with tattie scone, red sauce on both as per standard protocol. I enjoyed every aspect of both rolls. Even the rolls themselves were tasty and of good quality. I don't know if they were bought in or packaged, but it was none of your lower quality branding. Smashed both rolls into obliteration. I chewed them and swallowed. Absolutely dismantled them. I told my girlfriend I was going to destroy them and I certainly did. I am a man of my word. Anyway if you live within the vicinity of the place or passing by and are hungry I'd recommend going here. I wouldn't travel an ultra long distance for them though. Like if you live in Aberdeen or something. I am sure you can find a place almost as good if you live too far away. This concludes my report."

"I have dipped over Christmas time into the coffee pan for coffee and cake and it was also very nice. it was really with loads of locals in good shape because of the upcoming celebrations. and I would naturally introduce myself because of the great food in the offer as I say, I have not a full meal, but the chocolate wing cake was to die and the latte was coffee perfection there are also many interesting looking cheese and wee for sale that I need to investigate further there was a couple of eating here before it was so close to me. the review of this trip will follow!"

"First and foremost, the service was excellent! Our server was funny, friendly and attentive, really can't fault her at all! The food was decent. We started with the seafood platter and all was very tasty though a little sparse for the price. Would suit 2 or 3 people, but for 4 it isn't a lot. The fish and chips was met with approval, so was the seabream on specials. The roasted cod dish was very nice though perhaps a little fussy? Could probably do with one less ingredient as the fish drowned in the other tastes, but it was nice and the fish very well made. The ambience gets a downgrade as there were a table of influencers in the middle of the room with a great big portable spotlight (to better light the food they weren't eating until it went cold??? which was highly distracting together with their constant photographing. I wish the restaurant hadn't put them right in the middle of the restaurant, it was annoying. Other than that, the restaurant was lovely and does warrant a return visit!"

"We decided to book a table and dine at Annie's as we were staying close by. When we arrived at 7pm, it was already quite full, which was great to see. The welcome we got was friendly, and we were shown to a nice table in the pretty ground level part of the restaurant. The menu was not that different from that of the nearby pub but seemed ok with several options for our tastes. The food we ordered was fine, but we felt perhaps a little pricey compared to very similar meals we have had in the area. Service after our friendly greeting was not so good with long waits between follow ups. That, along with a not terribly different menu from other restaurants in the area, meant we decided not to return while staying nearby. Locals, however, seem to enjoy dining here, so I guess it's catering to them."

"Not the best experience I have had in Aberdeen, not the worst though. Tried it twice to see if it was just luck of the draw and not it seems. Staff seemed more interested in having a chat and not so much in service. Several food options, but baffling to be honest as to why French toast served with maple syrup would be served with a side salad with a balsamic reduction. Just seems a clash of ideas. The cookie I had first visit was soft and chewy and what you want from a cookie. Coffee was lacklustre and not worth the visit, there is a Cafe Nero across the street so if you are just after average coffee better off going there."

We were seated near the door, which was a bit cold, but it couldn't be avoided (although we did ask for a different table). The service was okay, but a bit slow. We had ordered 2 pizzas, but they were forgotten and only cooked when I inquired about them 5 minutes after our other food arrived. No apology was offered for the oversight. "We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the chef had prepared a separate vegan menu for me! "Gorgeous little gem hidden in North Acton. Such a picturesque spot if you’re partial to five minutes outside to appreciate the river. Food was divine. "This is a seriously concerning business and over all A TERRIBLE SERVICE. I’m going to start of by saying this experience has left me traumatised and depressed. I ordered tonight at 1:19 all was well until 2:20 (when the order should have arrived by) just eat and cafe presko straight up lied to me and told me that my order had been delivered when it clearly HAD NOT! As I had been promised a lie I attempted to ring cafe presko on TWO different phone number, none of which worked and went straight to voicemail I began to panicked as I had spent my last £13.64 on these two milkshakes hoping at the bare least they’d be delivered. I repeatedly rang hoping and praying to at least get a response on where my order was. I never got a response and just decided to wait. I am currently staying in a hotel so I decided to go down to the lobby and wait which was cold and I was in discomfort. AFTER 2 hours my order finally had been delivered. I walked outside to find a man copping out of a suspicious black damaged car with a very shady looking black bag. He stumbled over as if he was intoxicated and handed me the bag he said no words but “bye” no apology or nothing, he then drove of at a high speed. This experience has been nothing but stressful, saddening and disappointing. I really hope nobody spends their time or money ordering from here thanks for listening."

Very limited dinner menu, only really pasta or pizza options. I had a pizza and it was so thin it was basically like a hard tortilla. This allowed for little topping which ended up quite dry. It was fairly tasty but won’t be getting again. The menu was affordably priced, and there was a good selection of cocktails to choose from. Would still give this place a go for breakfast as maybe that’s its stronger area."
