"Mother's special. we should be greeted with a glass bubbly for mama, but none was offered. only after she was asked after the meal, she was brought. Nobody else in the restaurant seemed to know until we asked. the service was the worst thing I ever had in the hotel. all employees did not seem to be trained as they do their job and all looked like new employees without help or obvious. although many employees seemed to hang in the kitchen, unless they served something then went back directly. our frying pig came with from the apple sauce promised on the menu and from the pastry to almost finished it was no one to ask how they were all in the kitchen. not even at every point I was asked if everything is in order or whether I enjoyed my meal. when the bill came, it was wrong, I was overloaded. no apology just took her away and replaced her. this is only the second time that the fenwick hotel comes as it was bought by previous owners and I must say that the service and standards have gone downhill. I use it to be regular all the time, but the last two was extremely poor. Not sure I'm returning after having been a loyal customer for many years. pity that it has changed the hands to be a wild one. now seems unloved and unmanned. poor show"
