"Strange main entrance, didn t seem to be a reception place to advise we d arrived for our booking. Found someone at the bar to inform in the end. Good they gave us a table a short distance in as requested in our booking due to mobility issues. Seats comfortable in a booth. The window blinds were all down which made you feel enclosed and the dining room was brightly lit, not much character to it. Service was good, just one reminder for drinks which were forgotten about, Food tasty, though my curry wasn t but the rest in my party were happy enough, mine was just a bland sauce thing, not really like a curry. Lots of alcohol in the desserts, so if you don t like whiskey etc, the choice became limited. Generally a good list of things on menu to eat. Enjoyable evening ni the less and would suggest you should try it and see if you like it as an alternative place to visit in future."

Terrible service, really slow. Meals all came at different times. Food was substandard. Cold and congealed. Won't be back

Nice lunch and lovely surroundings. Did seem understaffed but the staff were doing best go keep everyone served and looked after.

We enjoyed our visit. Rather disappointed that, unlike a previous visit, there was not a set menu. The Lighter Bites did not really fill the gap.

Very good place to eat for any occasion. Was very pleased with the service. Staff very pleasant. Short staffed but no problems they manage very well.

Very enjoyable meal with family. Although there was a wedding we were still well looked after. Pleasant staff especially the young male server sorry I didn’t get his name (Sat 6th August 6pm) Would recommend.

Food was excellent and there was very friendly and non intrusive service. I can recommend the seafood gratin, filling without being heavy My only criticism would be that we both thought the prices were a bit high

Went on Saturday night for dinner. The new menu did not have any allergy information on it which wasn’t very helpful considering my partner has a nut allergy. My partner asked if the butter curry had nuts in it, which we were told “the chef doesn’t actually know so I’ve to tell you yes just to be on the safe side”. The young waitress was lovely and could not have been any nicer communicating this whilst providing an apology.

Took Granddaughter out with us for ameal and booked a table for 6 of us. Meal was very good and reasonable price. Service was a bit slower than usual but staff apolgised for this and were very attentive to our granddaughters need and supplied pens and a drawing for her to colour. She is only three so were pleased with the ambiance of the resteraunt and where we were sited. Food and drinks were excellent and we had a great time with no inreference to other diners
