"The three of us shared 2 starters and 3 mains. The trio of starters was delicious, although one was a surprisingly bright green. The lamb strips were particularly impressive, served with a red-currant jelly and Indian spices. For those who enjoy a rich, slightly sweet curry, the lamb and apricot dish is a must-try. My sister's lamb practically melted off the bone, while my friend loved her creamy and flavorful New Delhi chicken. The naan bread was some of the best I've had, light and crispy, and the side of mushroom curry was also a hit. We will definitely be coming back to this restaurant - as a self-proclaimed foodie, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. At £21 per person including drinks, it was a bargain for such a great dining experience."

"Very surprised to read some of the reviews from visitors at TigerBay Shisha and Carlton Lounge as we have always had excellent service and the food is some of the best Indian dishes we have had.We were seated inside the TigerBay Shisha Lounge however as this has open sides all round and even an open roof in warmer days or nights, we felt completely safe and COVID protected. The evening was very busy but had a great atmosphere and we didn’t feel cramped or as if we were too near to other customers. The music especially with the appearance of DJ Shraii gives something a little bit extra special than other venues.All members of staff wore face masks and we noticed they politely reminded any customers to use their masks when not seated at their tables.The food is always hot and you can hear the sizzle plates sizzling as the food is served. Portions are really generous and we usually find it hard choosing from all the delicious dishes on offer.The mocktails are especially good and the fruity versions topped with fresh and sweet fruit. We have not tried the Shisha varieties however talking to people we met last week, they said the choices are good and flavours excellent quality. So even without Shisha being available at the moment under Covid rules, TigerBay Shisha Lounge is a great venue.We are looking forward to spending many more summer evenings especially in the garden area which is beautifully filled with gorgeous plants and makes you feel you are on holiday and not just on an evening out.Keep doing what you do so well TigerBay Shisha and Carlton Lounge."

"Brilliant. Was up in Aberdeen, from a bit down to coast, for a hospital visit. Timed it so we could get a takeaway in the 'toon ' before heading back home with it. Did a Google search for decent curry houses in the area and came up with this place. So, first time there for us. Called from the hospital grounds at just after 4pm and was told the food would be ready in about half an hour. We headed up there, arriving a wee bit early but our order was ready. Got it back home and boy it was fantastic. Lamb Seekh Kebab and vegetarian platter (for the wife) and both were great. I then had the Prawn Bombay Flame and Keema Rice and she had Prawn Dhansak with Pilau Rice. Add a Tarka Dhall on the side and Keema and Cheese Naans, popadoms and dips etc and things were complete. The quality of the food was just fantastic and the prawns were some of the best I 've ever had in a curry. Helpings were abundant as well. I cannot fault this place. Friendly staff too and clean and tidy wee shop. This may have been our first takeaway from here but rest assured it will not be our last. Brilliant!!!! Cheers!!!"

"The food at this restaurant is made fresh to order. The Dal could use a bit more salt, but it was still good when paired with rice. The standout aspect of this place is the excellent service. The host even went above and beyond to create a new mocktail for a colleague who did not like the Virgin Colada. The food may take a bit longer to be served since it is made to order, but it is definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend this restaurant for its exceptional service and fresh, made-to-order food."

"I have been a big fan of the Red Tiffin for a while now. It is the best South Asian takeaway in the area with a good selection of meat-free options. However, I have had some mixed experiences with the staff at the counter. One of them is incredibly friendly and sweet, but there is another guy who can be quite rude. Unfortunately, his attitude has made me hesitant to order from here. It's a shame because other than that, I have had no other issues with this place."

"we just finished our meal (we had a lie because the portions were generous! and it was incredible! as it is a bank holiday, delivery was fast and contactless, as desired. my man called when I'm free of milk and they were so helpful by being over the ones of my favourite dishes free of milk and finding close alternatives for others. it was without doubt the most tasty and softest beautiful lamb I've ever eaten. would definitely recommend and we will order again. "We ordered a selection of small plates to share, including the popular chicken tikka and lamb samosas. The flavors were incredible and the portion sizes were just right for a pre-theatre meal. The highlight of the evening was definitely the chicken biryani, which was fragrant and cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the butter chicken and garlic naan. They added chilli in both veg dishes as requested that was nice but the tarka daal was bland no garlic corinder. Two breads were nice. "The food was mediocre and I didn’t feel like there was anything special about it. Just tasted like a normal curry from any high street takeaway. The seating was so tightly arranged and at times I couldn’t push my chair back to stand because the table behind me had their chairs straight up against my back. Pretty much immediately after we finished eating, we could see the staff eyeing us to leave. And we felt uncomfortable and as if we were imposing even when there was no time limit on the table."

"This is our favorite restaurant for a dinner night out, the staff is always friendly and welcoming. I have celebrated my last three birthdays here and each experience has been fantastic. "I was out from London Zoo and looking for a place to dine nearby. I was kind of deceived by the google rating of 4.2. However, I think there is something going on with this restaurant that is either management issues or post COVID crisis. There was only one waitress who happens to do almost every thing. He was trying to catch up and multitask but with a lot of mistakes. Everything takes so long to happen. I have to wait a bit for him to pay my check. The price is extremely over the quality of the food and service. Some items in the menu are not available. Do not ask for ice, because they do not have it. Therefore, you have to accept almost room temperature Cola."
