"My husband and I had our 44th wedding anniversary dinner here and we had a beautiful meal. The food was delicious and not at all fast food. It wasn't as spicy as we are used to but still lovely. The young man who served us was attentive but not obtrusively so. He was friendly and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. I only hope this restaurant gets more custom. It was a Thursday evening at 7 and we were 1 of 2 couples in the restaurant. By 7.30 and for the rest of the evening we were the only diners. Please try this restaurant. It really is a jewel in Kilmarnock and not at all expensive. We'll be back."

The service is very slow. The meat from the butcher has a good quality... because the fillet I would cook was well done... and the meat was okay. Maybe they need more experience in the kitchen.
