"Located in a small alley just outside the main town, Yen sushi was a great find. The staff were very welcoming. Food is great and just like a few other sushi restaurants, depending on the colour of plat you pick up determines it's price. For me and Mt partner we spent £50. The quality of food was great, although I feel the presentation of some dishes weren't great or consistent. You can also order hot food, the only thing I thought was weird is the waitress would bring empty plates with your hot food to represent its worth rather than just making a note to the table this did take up space on the table which then made it a little tight for other orders. Despite the above this still a great visit. Be sure to drop by if your about. If your a regular sushi eater, you may the fish to lack in quality."

"Went here for our 5 year wedding anniversary meal and had the calamari and sesame prawn toasts for starters, followed by the seafood platter, which was incredible. The friendly and attentive staff went out of their way to make our meal extra special with candles in the platter and a choice of free prosecco or dessert to celebrate our anniversary. Will definitely return the next time we're in Nottingham."

"We ordered a large portion of chips with a large cod but was horrified when we got home to find what looked like a kids portion of food. When you pay that much money you expect to get what you paid for but not with this restaurant clearly. The food was also under cooked such as the fish, saveloy and sausage that we had also ordered. To add to this nightmare the food was freezing cold. Furthermore, Considering we are in a Global pandemic and gravesham is currently so high for COVID cases, not one person who works here was wearing a mask neither were any of the customers. Furthermore no one was socially distanced. Do people not care ??? Back to the food.... Food is terrible, terrible and terrible !!! Need to lower your prices and make sure that if you state something is large make sure it is large."

"Out of whole bunch of fish listed, had only cod, haddock and plaice at on saturday! At the counter were women. One seemed to actually care about her job, the other one seemed like a spoilt child that was forced to work...by her parents. I am not quite sure how exactly can somebody fail such a simple meal but... They managed it. They truly have. My girlfriend wanted some fish and chips after a walk down the canal and she said she had never tried this place. We had haddocks. None of us finished our portions and it surely wasn't because of the size it was simply disgusting. Chips were times refried fish tasted like something that was bought from iceland and left on the sun to thaw for the next days... And then got dumped in the batter (which, was literally tasteless... The only flavour it had was from the copious amount of smelly oil) and fried. Used fanta, ipa and rum&coke to wash down the disgusting aftertaste and still failed. Was burping up that disgusting stuff for hours after. You have somebody you really hate? Take them there."

The mushy peas £2) were nothing special, arguably inferior to most I’ve had. The waitress was really sweet and attentive. I liked the atmosphere and the fact that they sell fresh fish. I love that smell... I came away full and happy, just thought 9£ for a piece of fried fish was a little dear..even if it was large and delicious. "a great place for authentic kerala cuisine. we stopped for dinner on a Sunday night. ambiente was really nice and pleasant, reflecting a traditional kerala environment. the staff was friendly and friendly. we had ordered uzhunnu vada, sea food platter and aubergine fry in the starters. all were super crispy and delicious! we had ordered appam, kerala parotta, thattu huhn, crab curry and fish in banana leaf. we also had their kerala biriyani, which was a winner tasted! all other dishes were also delicious and fill. the appams were cooked live and served hot fresh from the heart. this ensures that they get them hot and crispy delicious! highly recommended."

"Dirty Dick 's is a great bar along the ever popular Rose Street. Currently their social media profile says: Whisky and gin galore! Classy Scottish grub, craft beer, clutter, antiquary, and great tunes. And, yes, that 's what you 're going to find here. Also, they 're dog friendly, family friendly, vegan friendly if you need a bite; they 're just all around friendly. As you can imagine, all of this as well as being in a touristy area makes it almost always busy. Not sure what to order? They 've got beer on draught, 250+ single malts, whisky flights for both the novice and experienced, and if you don 't know just ask. I did. I wanted something from the Highlands that had notes of toffee. The bartender passed me over to the owner who made a suggestion and encouraged me to try it before committing. "We decided to take the Yeoman up on their Burns night special. It was rather disappointing. There were a number of items that were not available, which ruled out several items on the set menu. The mains were ok, although the portions weren’t thought through. The server offered to correct it, but it was too late in the meal. The mains were overpriced for what you got. The desert was a real disappointment. We ordered Cranachan and were told there were no Raspberry’s. When it arrived the server owned up the chef hadn’t ever made it before. This was clear as it was just porridge with a strawberry on top. We weren’t charged for them in the end, but what the point of having a set menu if the chef can’t cook it. The service was very slow and we weren’t once asked for a drinks order. The manager was really nice and friendly, but that didn’t make up for what was a really disappointing meal."

"The food and place were ok. The only thing that made a very bad impression and made me feel a bit stressed was the service. I understand that it is a busy place etc, but you couldn’t dare to finish your drink, food etc , and they had already taken your plate, glass etc. For example, I had a glass of water and the moment I finished they took my glass…What if I wanted more water thought?
