"We happened upon this little shop whilst perusing Harrogate and brought a selection of Cheeses to take to family that evening. The two ladies working were fantastic in helping us choose a lovely Brie with Truffle, Smoked Cheddar and a strong Blue. With a little taster of each we were soon agreed and the three cheeses were nicely wrapped up in paper.Our hosts loved them that evening and being local themselves have plans to pop in and see the array on offer for themselves."

"Bella Italia was included as part of a party package in Brighton for a group of 9 on a hen do! Our table wasn 't ready upon arrival and we had no idea how they were going to squeeze 9 of us into such a small restaurant. We all felt very self conscious and like we were intruding upon the other customers personal time, as it was such an intimate restaurant. Once our table was ready, we were seated at the rear of the restaurant and one of our friends was at the end of the table, which was in the way of the waiters 'service ' area (drinks, till etc . The food choices on the 'party ' menu were very limited (choice of 2 starters and 4 mains and the restaurant weren 't aware that one of our party required gluten free options. However, a gluten free menu was promptly supplied and the waiter was very efficient helpful throughout our visit. I don 't think the food was that good, is very basic (even looking a other customers choices! and quite bland. I have been to far superior Italian restaurants this is maybe somewhere I would go for a light lunch and not an evening meal. That said, on this occasion the food was adequate for our needs; we weren 't there for a special meal."

"I came in for a meal with my god-daughter who has just moved to Guildford. Olivo is a good restaurant and I have eaten here before so I felt it was a good choice for her first dining experience in Guildford. I was pleased that we had a nice evening. We shared a starter and then both had mains and coffee. The food was excellent as ever. Very nice service as ever from very professional cheerful and attentive staff. Very reasonable too. It was a good sign that the restaurant was busy on a cold dark Thursday in early January. I definitely recommend Olivo and will come again."

"On walking in we were shown to the bar and told it would be a short wait for our table, it turned out to be seconds rather than minutes, the staff were very pleasent and helpful and patient. The food and drinks arrived at just the right timing and both the food and drinks were spot on. I would recommend Bellini's to all, mywife asked a waiter if he could take a photo of our party and he did so with no complaint at all. All the staff were polite and friendly."

"I have never experienced such poor customer service in my life. We booked a table for 7:30. We stood at the entrance for over 10 minutes and were not acknowledged all. A waitress marched in front of us countless times in a dismissive manner. I saw another person talk to a delivery driver in an appalling manner. The kitchen staff showed a horrible attitude to each other. We waited a little longer. Even my partner, who is the most patient person I have ever met, said let's go. So we ended up turning around and eating dinner somewhere else. Pizza express did not deserve the business. If someone had said hi, or “we will be with you” we would have understood. But to behave as though we were not there was unacceptable. If you want to have a dinner at Pizza Express go to the Bisboos Stortford one."

"Hats off to the management and staff of Cantinetta for truly earning this one-star review from me. It was a team effort that I felt deserved recognition. We had guests from out of town and it was up to us to pick a restaurant that showcased the best of Crosby (according to Google reviews). We were a party of 10 who had reserved a table for Saturday evening with plenty of time to prepare and even pre-order if needed. Upon arrival, we were seated and given the drink menu. Unfortunately, the staff took 40 minutes before taking our drink orders, despite reminders. They seemed to make excuses rather than fulfill their duties. We should have probably left at that point, but we stayed. The food that was eventually served was inedible, particularly the Bruschettas which were popular choices for starters. There were delays in serving the main dishes as well, with some younger guests jokingly starting to eat the table. Thankfully, the main meals were of decent quality once served, but the service lacked any apologies or acknowledgment of our dissatisfaction. When we spoke to the manager about our experience, he seemed indifferent. This lack of care or apologies for a subpar experience on their part is the reason for this one-star review. "Describing this place as a balti restaurant is misleading, as it actually resembles more of a kebab shop infested with rats. We ordered 3 curries, mixed grills, onion bhajis, and naan breads. Unfortunately, all three curries contained raw chicken, which was in large chunks similar to what you would find on a pizza. The rogan Josh had green peppers and tomato slices that you might expect on a pizza, not in a curry. The mixed grills included hamburger patties and undercooked fried mushrooms. The naan breads were overly greasy and seemed to have been cooked on a flat top stove. The garlic naans had no garlic flavor, just a dated garlic mayo dip. The cheese naan lacked cheese entirely. The food was so oily that it seemed like it was fit for a royalty from Arabian descent. We spent £80 ordering through Just Eat, but received no complimentary poppadoms. We were also asked to pay extra for delivery, and then the delivery driver claimed he couldn't find us and we had to meet him, despite being the only property in our postcode. Overall, this dining experience was extremely disappointing and could likely deter even the most dedicated food enthusiasts."

"It was our first time eating at Giovanni’s yesterday after recently moving to Knutsford. And what a treat it was. The waiter could not have been any better and went out of his way to ensure we had a lovely meal. He even bought over a little juice and ice cream for our 2 year old and also a dessert treat for my husband as it was his Birthday. The service was outstanding and the food was just delicious. "The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but the food was disappointing and the service was slow. "neither the food was good nor the service, ended the police. the pasta dishes and a risotto that the Italian restaurant specializes in. send it back because pasta and rice boiled, hard in the middle, almost raw. They said that Italian food should be like that. everyone is aware that the best Italian pasta should be a little hard but not uncooked. obviously they knew it was wrong, apologised for a busy time and many customers, cooked a bit more. the second time it was still hard to eat. we couldn't finish our food. for this they offered a bottle prosecco and a shot limoncello. as we found out later, they added a bottle of prosecco extra to the bill, cheeky! when we pointed out that the manager began to tell us that they have taken one advantage of us, pay the bill and get the f out of this place. then tried to beat my friend (a girl), because she pointed out her mistake. we had to call the police. the owner threw me a teller because I was on the way. such a catastrophe! not eat good (pasta rude and insulting staff. the worst was the manager and the owner"

"city z made an online booking for the table as we just came after the work and watched a comedy show in the place. the staff was very friendly, we met an American lady who made the best cocktails and took her time with them and they were the best tasting cocktails. who were at the beginning of the night, so I would strongly recommend when they are there asking them to make a cocktails, they will not regret it. the cocktails after leaving so great, and they have happy hour til 8 clock and their friends were pacious, so we ordered from their menu. the nachos were in order, it was slightly salty and the actual tasting butter, which we ordered the bark and chickens were very nice and tasty the hummus was good and the brot was really fresh. the chicken wings were in order, I think the only thing missing was ketchup and mayonnaise, but at this point I began to get busy what I forget to bring it, but not a big thing, but at the end."

"My family and I dined at this restaurant on Saturday, July 28th. We had 6 adults, a five-year-old, and a baby with us. This restaurant is local to us and we are familiar with it. It has a warm family atmosphere that is busy but not overly loud, with friendly staff who are attentive and cheerful without being pushy. The service is good even when it's busy, and the owner is very hands-on and greets everyone. We enjoyed a delicious rioja wine, along with tasty house wines. The starters, pizzas, and pasta were excellent and reasonably priced. The mains and specials, on the other hand, were a bit overpriced and the portions were small, although flavorful. Two in our group found them disappointing. Our pizza, the Anacapri, was a bit lackluster, undercooked, and bland, which is unusual as they are usually good. Nonetheless, it didn't ruin our evening, and we all had a good time, especially the kids. The staff didn't mind the children walking about and they even received special attention."
