"It was our first time eating at Giovanni’s yesterday after recently moving to Knutsford. And what a treat it was. The waiter could not have been any better and went out of his way to ensure we had a lovely meal. He even bought over a little juice and ice cream for our 2 year old and also a dessert treat for my husband as it was his Birthday. The service was outstanding and the food was just delicious. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you!"

"The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but the food was disappointing and the service was slow. We went for a quick lunch during our lunch hour, but ended up waiting 20 minutes just for our drinks, leaving us with only 15 minutes to eat our meal. The menu offers a diverse selection, and my friend's Italian roasted teigcake, called pizza fritta, was very interesting. However, my salad was disappointing with a bland dressing. "I have been there three times. The food is very genuine italian and really delicious and tasty. Large menu card and great ‘todays specials’. Prices are very reasonable. "neither the food was good nor the service, ended the police. the pasta dishes and a risotto that the Italian restaurant specializes in. send it back because pasta and rice boiled, hard in the middle, almost raw. They said that Italian food should be like that. everyone is aware that the best Italian pasta should be a little hard but not uncooked. obviously they knew it was wrong, apologised for a busy time and many customers, cooked a bit more. the second time it was still hard to eat. we couldn't finish our food. for this they offered a bottle prosecco and a shot limoncello. as we found out later, they added a bottle of prosecco extra to the bill, cheeky! when we pointed out that the manager began to tell us that they have taken one advantage of us, pay the bill and get the f out of this place. then tried to beat my friend (a girl), because she pointed out her mistake. we had to call the police. the owner threw me a teller because I was on the way. such a catastrophe! not eat good (pasta rude and insulting staff. the worst was the manager and the owner"

"city z made an online booking for the table as we just came after the work and watched a comedy show in the place. the staff was very friendly, we met an American lady who made the best cocktails and took her time with them and they were the best tasting cocktails. who were at the beginning of the night, so I would strongly recommend when they are there asking them to make a cocktails, they will not regret it. the cocktails after leaving so great, and they have happy hour til 8 clock and their friends were pacious, so we ordered from their menu. the nachos were in order, it was slightly salty and the actual tasting butter, which we ordered the bark and chickens were very nice and tasty the hummus was good and the brot was really fresh. the chicken wings were in order, I think the only thing missing was ketchup and mayonnaise, but at this point I began to get busy what I forget to bring it, but not a big thing, but at the end."

"My family and I dined at this restaurant on Saturday, July 28th. We had 6 adults, a five-year-old, and a baby with us. This restaurant is local to us and we are familiar with it. It has a warm family atmosphere that is busy but not overly loud, with friendly staff who are attentive and cheerful without being pushy. The service is good even when it's busy, and the owner is very hands-on and greets everyone. We enjoyed a delicious rioja wine, along with tasty house wines. The starters, pizzas, and pasta were excellent and reasonably priced. The mains and specials, on the other hand, were a bit overpriced and the portions were small, although flavorful. Two in our group found them disappointing. Our pizza, the Anacapri, was a bit lackluster, undercooked, and bland, which is unusual as they are usually good. Nonetheless, it didn't ruin our evening, and we all had a good time, especially the kids. The staff didn't mind the children walking about and they even received special attention."

"We visited Ponti’s on a Friday early evening for my wife’s birthday. It was a great experience from start to finish. Firstly the staff were all really friendly and welcoming. There was a good selection of drinks. We had Parmigiana and Truffle Arancina for starters, both of which were amazing. Then Fettucine Salmone and Linguine ai Gamberi for main both were great. They made a lovely gesture for my wife by bringing out a complimentary dessert. Overall fantastic"

"Always have a lovely meal at this restaurant, the staff very attentive but not over bearing. The restaurant is small so it’s never too loud that you cannot hold a conversation. But still has a nice atmosphere about it. Careful where you park. There is free parking after 7 close by but before that wardens are lethal. Highly recommend you try this lovely Italian"

"Went here randomly and did not regret it. It was empty when we arrived but started filling up when we were in there. We were initially apprehensive but it did not disappoint. I had the garlic mushrooms to start and they are probably the best garlic mushrooms I have even had!!! Our server was lovely (her name escapes me! but Ronnie, the manager, is a top guy. These guys deserve every success. Highly recommended."
