Contributing to the authenticity is the Italian management staff, who are all polite and bring an excellence professionalism of service, even with the occasional hesitancy in English which, in fact, only contributes to the suspension of disbelief that allows one to imagine they 've been transported to Italy, where every meal is a journey to yet another lesser known town otherwise famed amongst Italians for its succulent secrets... Over the past several years, I 've had the great pleasure to return to Ponte Vecchio a handful of times to enjoy a meal, each time a different dish. After my most recent dining excursion , I 'm pleased to have discovered there 's yet another refresh of the menu soon to come, which means more delights on my next major visit. Ponte Vecchio IS the quintessential destination for special occasion fine Italian dining in Bath, well suited for intimate group celebrations as well as important date nights , being close enough to Bath for convenience, yet removed just enough from the hustle bustle of the town centre. Its location by the weir adds to its romantic ambience, allowing for a lovely after dinner walk.. For the BEST, and most Authentic, Italian dining experience in Bath, make it Ponte Vecchio a trip to Italy is waiting to be had! Questi giorni quando vieni il belle sole.. "This restaurant in London serves the best vegan pizza. We ordered delivery and asked for no cheese. The pizzas were tasty, the delivery was quick, and the prices were very reasonable for such high quality food. Thank you! Another great thing is that they offer chocolate as a side, which is a brilliant idea. We would suggest that they also sell the vegan-friendly dark chocolate from Montezuma. Just a thought!"

"we thought we would avoid the Saturday evening rush and order around 16:10, so we didn't have to wait forever until it comes. this was the first time we used 'best kebab' and will be the last. uber eats said it would be delivered 16:50-17:10... the seemed a bit overly for the £20 order (1 x kebab, 1 x burger, 1 x cheesy chips and 1 x mozerella sticks.) but it is what it is. it will be 17:10 and we will wait. it is until 17:30 and we are waiting. 17:35 And we clink, they say they have a problem with their rides, and there will be 10 minutes, no apologies, nothing. eating came around 17:45, no apologies, nothing. eating was in the average. my partner “Special” burger (bef mit donnerfleisch) had 4 pieces donner on a lukewarm but crispy burger. my kebab was also lukewarm and I had never had so chewy meat in my life. the chips that were in the box were divided into two layers, the lower half closest to the box was like a red musk (obvily at any place it was hot and simply shaped into one with the condensation) and the upper side were hard as nails and cold. Mozerella sticks needed to heat as they were fixed and the Cheesy chips were only lukewarm with a mass of cold, solid cheese up. if they can not provide a delivery grater to ensure that their warm food is delivered immediately (we live about 6 minutes away) then they do not offer any delivery. do not pack their food ready and leave it easy until someone appears to deliver it, otherwise they will their customers inedible sh!t. revolver with our usual choice of spire pizzas. can not recommend this enough, along with express kebab house, which are just around the corner of this “business”. I will never use “Best Kebab” again. do not make the same mistake."

"came here for a company. so did not get the full experience, so to speak as it was finger / impromptu buffet eating / service. definitiw a place for when it is wet and cold outside, like its away in the cellar of the building where it is warm and smuggling. the service was efficient and professional. the food we had was good. pretty delicious roasted sandwiches, very good pizza and calamari. it is not a good food, but the menu they would not expect. it is more offered by classic, reliable, working well for lunch. drinks were not too expensive due to its location on mount street. go back and check it out for lunch right in the near future."

"Table for six booked for a Friday night. The restaurant looks quite nice from the outside and inside. Firstly and most importantly (for me) as a food critic it’s all about the customer service which was disappointing. Literally all the staff were miserable. This restaurant would be better off having robots serving you as the staff were in a coma. I will give a score Depending on what was ordered. Starters were nice but my spaghetti was tasteless. The restaurant was really hot and we all sat in the heat sweating. The noise level was ridiculous and you couldn’t have a conversation. The staff need to be nice and break a smile once in a while Summary Customer Service 1/10 Food 6/10 Overall customer satisfaction 5/10. I just wished that the staff and management would appreciate your custom. They are so busy it just felt like you were rushed in and out. Needless to say I will never go back."

"My husband and I visited last night,a very warm welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant, lovely busy atmosphere too. We shared the Antipasti which was generous. I had a delicious ceaser salad and my husband had chilli pasta which was also scrumptious! Only a little room left to share a pudding. We didn’t feel rushed at all which was nice . The price was good considering what we have spent in other eateries whilst away and this meal was by far the best ! Would definitely go back and happy to recommend to friends and family."

"our first visit in this first class restaurant. we booked for the following day lunch and asked if they had an alternative for the kartoffels and pasta on their menu; the reason is that we eat low carbohydrates. they did not do it, but they promised to order in some quinoa this evening especially for my wife and I. the staff was friendly and dedicated, eating was delicious, and the atmosphere was perfect. "We just received our order and it was incredibly disappointing. It was the worst delivery experience we have ever had. Our evening was ruined by the poor quality of the food. We ordered a pizza, pasta, and oven-baked potatoes, and all of them were terrible. They looked normal, but the taste was inedible. The pizza was the worst we have ever had - cold, dry, and tasting like stale bread with hardly any cheese or tomato sauce. The salmon pasta was extremely oily, lacking the promised pink sauce, and the pasta was overcooked to the point of being mushy. The potatoes were not crispy and tasted bland and oily. We regret spending money on this meal and feel that the positive reviews must be fake. This Italian restaurant is a scam. We couldn't eat the food and had to order from another place instead. Disgusting."

"It took nearly 2 hours for my food to arrive and I still haven't received it. I'm frustrated because when I called, they said it was on its way, but when I checked the Just Eat app, the driver had been delivering my food for an hour with no explanation for the delay. I won't be ordering from here again. I was really looking forward to enjoying some delicious chicken after a smoke, but it was a total disappointment."

"If you just want a quick bite before a theatre production then Limoncello is perfect. The Service was ok but lacked any interaction or warmth, it was literally brought and taken away plates. We asked for water, we were given warm tap water with no ice which was not the nicest tasting. We ordered a garlic bread with cheese that arrived resembling more like charcoal around the edges. It was completely burnt and obviously so. I was surprised that they would serve that. I did not complain but simply ate the middle bit and left the rest. The pizza I had was delicious. If like me, you like dessert, then I am afraid this is not the place for you. We asked for the dessert menu and were told flatly that they do not do dessert otherwise they would have offered a menu. With that, we paid and left feeling a little but short-changed. It was an experience but we will not be returning for another."

"We went here Thursday night as it was a couple of doors away from the pub. Lovely quirky little intimate place, with rustic decor, excellent service, and excellent food. The pasta portions were large and very tasty and the cost reasonable. The waitress was so...friendly and made our evening chatting to us. My only suggestion is that they do more choice of pasta dishes for vegetarians as only two, but it seems pizza is their main business. I believe they do takeaway Mon-Thur for £7 for any dish which is excellent value for high quality food."
