"This restaurant is excellent. The dishes I have tried are beautifully presented, generous in portion size, and delicious. It is clear that a lot of care goes into creating the food and designing the menu. The chefs must be very skilled. I particularly enjoyed the fish dishes and the fantastic rice. The desserts and cocktails are also top-notch and crafted with skill. The restaurant has a spacious and stylish ambiance with beautiful lighting. The staff is friendly and attentive. The prices are very reasonable compared to other kosher restaurants, making it a great place to enjoy a wonderful meal. Overall, a fantastic dining experience."

"Fino's has a great ambience. Food is pretty average. We had fried calamari, zuchini, pasta cabonara `all of which were particularly fatty and greasy and a pasta ali olio which was good but very heavy on the garlic and chilli. My main reason for writing a review is the waiters definitely gave off the impression they would have prefered to be elsewhere rather than serving customers. THeir manner was brusk verging on rude."

"Table for six booked for a Friday night. The restaurant looks quite nice from the outside and inside. Firstly and most importantly (for me) as a food critic it’s all about the customer service which was disappointing. Literally all the staff were miserable. This restaurant would be better off having robots serving you as the staff were in a coma. I will give a score Depending on what was ordered. Starters were nice but my spaghetti was tasteless. The restaurant was really hot and we all sat in the heat sweating. The noise level was ridiculous and you couldn’t have a conversation. The staff need to be nice and break a smile once in a while Summary Customer Service 1/10 Food 6/10 Overall customer satisfaction 5/10. I just wished that the staff and management would appreciate your custom. They are so busy it just felt like you were rushed in and out. Needless to say I will never go back."

"We picked this restaurant because of its reviews and found that you need to book if you want to visit. The starter particularly was well presented and was the favourite part of the meal. Wine was very good and the mains were nice but the steak was a little chewy and the lasagna didnt wow me and I found it a little bland but that may be me. Service was superb from the time we entered the restaurant till the time we left. Didnt have space for deserts. A lovely restaurant which was inviting, medium priced and was far better than the meal we had in the hotel the night before. It will be on our list to return. To find this restaurant opposite the clock on the main street is an archway Go through the archway and the restaurant is tucked in the righthand corner"

"My husband and I visited last night,a very warm welcome as soon as we entered the restaurant, lovely busy atmosphere too. We shared the Antipasti which was generous. I had a delicious ceaser salad and my husband had chilli pasta which was also scrumptious! Only a little room left to share a pudding. We didn’t feel rushed at all which was nice . The price was good considering what we have spent in other eateries whilst away and this meal was by far the best ! Would definitely go back and happy to recommend to friends and family."

"We booked on table on Valentine's Day! The restaurant was busy, but not crowded. The atmosphere was lovely. The food was excellent: A special Valentine's Day menu which was reasonably priced. "Came especially for the vegan menu (I’m vegetarian as I heard good things about it. Drove from Lisburn all the way to Parkgate and had 2 very enjoyable nights. First night I had the cauliflower popcorn (bit too salty for my liking and the sweet potato roulade (amazing! . My husband had the soup of the day (very nice and the risotto (little bit stodgy, looked as if cooked too quick . For dessert I had the apple/berry crumble which was very nice and husband had sticky toffee (also gorgeous! . Decaf oat latte’s at the end sealed the deal. Just delighted to be able to order a good decaf coffee! Next evening returned with a friend. I had the salted chilli stir fry (verrry salty, but that’s what it says on the tin and the cauliflower pie. The pie was a bit of a let down. The gravy was overbearing, essentially, the whole dish tasted of gravy. I would have preferred to get it in a dish on the side (like with the roulade to add the amount I prefer myself. Same desserts again this evening, both again very nice. Service was ok, young girls mainly and you could tell some were a bit inexperienced but that really didn’t impact us. Food came out super quick! I will def be back, altho I won’t be ordering the pie again and I hope next time I will be able to try the “scallops” as they were sold out both nights (sat 6pm and sun 7.30pm and they just sounded amazing! If your hesitating to go for the vegan menu, don’t!! It’s the best vegan offering I have encountered to date. I really hope they keep it up."

"We were very disappointed with the food at this restaurant. Having spent 5 weeks in Italy, including Sicily, last year, our expectations were quite high. The arancini lacked flavor and were much smaller than the ones we had in Sicily. The porcini mushrooms in the pasta seemed to be frozen, as they were soggy and did not have the delicious flavor of fresh or dried ones. The pasta had an overwhelming amount of tomato sauce, making it quite boring. Even the ravioli seemed like it could have been store-bought, drowning in tomato sauce. The highlight of our meal was the goat cheese salad, which was delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great."

I had my dog with me and asked if they had something for them. they rusted a nice little food for them, and went over one beyond that we were happy. Actually, the service was impeccable. "If you just want a quick bite before a theatre production then Limoncello is perfect. The Service was ok but lacked any interaction or warmth, it was literally brought and taken away plates. We asked for water, we were given warm tap water with no ice which was not the nicest tasting. We ordered a garlic bread with cheese that arrived resembling more like charcoal around the edges. It was completely burnt and obviously so. I was surprised that they would serve that. I did not complain but simply ate the middle bit and left the rest. The pizza I had was delicious. If like me, you like dessert, then I am afraid this is not the place for you. We asked for the dessert menu and were told flatly that they do not do dessert otherwise they would have offered a menu. With that, we paid and left feeling a little but short-changed. It was an experience but we will not be returning for another."

"Our 20 yr old student son was visiting Ipswich as part of an upcoming placement. He had to stay in a hotel for two nights on his own and eat out for dinner as nothing available in the hotel. He went to ASK at around 6.30pm and asked for a table … he was told they ‘already had too many’ despite all the empty tables and him being on his own. Very offhand and rude and made him feel very uncomfortable. On phoning afterwards we were told they were short staffed and having a difficult day. Nice of them to take it out on a young man on his own. Shameful behaviour! The reality is he was one person, it was early doors, and all he wanted was a warm meal after a long day. He wouldn’t have been taking a table up all night and making demands on the staff. If you happen to find yourself in a similar situation save yourself the trouble and just go to Prezzo. Or just go to Prezzo in any event."

I'm frustrated because when I called, they said it was on its way, but when I checked the Just Eat app, the driver had been delivering my food for an hour with no explanation for the delay. "We went here Thursday night as it was a couple of doors away from the pub. Lovely quirky little intimate place, with rustic decor, excellent service, and excellent food. The pasta portions were large and very tasty and the cost reasonable. The waitress was so...friendly and made our evening chatting to us. My only suggestion is that they do more choice of pasta dishes for vegetarians as only two, but it seems pizza is their main business. I believe they do takeaway Mon-Thur for £7 for any dish which is excellent value for high quality food."
