This is such a friendly great place to eat, I love the food here. Often eating in or getting take aways. The service is impeccable and food feels really authentic and delicious. Can’t recommend enough. It’s also lovely to have an Aperol outside here in the summer. So much better than Tomo across the two just don’t compare.

Did not start off great as we had booked a table which was not ready for us to sit at We had a drink at the bar and they gave us a drink on the house for the inconvenience We were glad we waited as the food was superb and the staff were too , very attentive and recognising that they had kept us waiting by also giving us a limoncello too We will return

I ordered the ‘La Gioconda’ pizza online. According to the menu, it’s topped with burrata, mozzarella, porcini mushrooms, Italian sausage and truffle. Unfortunately there were no porcini mushrooms whatsoever. Instead, the pizza had button mushrooms! disappointing- having had recommendation long wanted to visit but.. while some dishes were tasty the food was not of consistent quality, portions were on small side for price, food did not arrive together for a party of six so done finished before others began, service was very patchy and overall the place felt a little chilly and tired. Stroud Green alternatives offer much more attentive service, cozier brighter atmosphere and better value.

Visited here on a Friday night for dinner and the restaurants was maybe half full. The food was nice but service needs to be improved.. There were lots of staff milling around but it took 20 mins for our drinks order to be taken and an hour from when we arrived, for our cold starter to arrive. The waitress didn’t apologise just noted that we were patient and if it were her she’d be asking for a free drink yet she never gave us a free drink ?! Waitress forgot our plates so had to wait again to eat after the food had been served. Also noticed other customers being given free limoncello but that wasn’t offered to us. I doubt we will return because of the service

Me and my partner woke up in need of some good food to fuel us through the day. We love to try new places and we saw that la gioconda was only a 10 minute drive from us. We fancied a good traditional Italian meal. Let me start by saying they surpassed every expectation we had before we even knew it.
