"Our server, Iryna, was incredibly friendly and helpful in guiding us through the menu. Her recommendations were spot on and made our meal truly exceptional. The seafood salad was unlike anything we had experienced before, but Iryna encouraged us to give it a try, and it was fantastic. The flavors and the sauce combined perfectly. Although my wife typically doesn't enjoy beets, she ended up eating half of hers because they were seasoned and cooked to perfection. My wife ordered the small seafood linguine, which was definitely fresh and cooked in fish stock instead of the usual cream sauce. The seasoning was absolutely brilliant, and everything came together flawlessly. She also appreciated the perfect portion size; although she could have eaten more, she wanted to save room for dessert. To be honest, I found myself a bit envious of her dish and wished there was more to share. Not that I disliked my own meal, because I truly loved it. The pulled lamb was braised in a generous amount of red wine, and Iryna was right—while you could taste the wine, there was no overpowering alcohol flavor, just rich aromas. The pasta was cooked just right, and the lamb was tender and delicious. I could have easily eaten more, but I wanted to save space for dessert too. After discussing our options, we ultimately decided on the botanical dessert. Normally, we would have tried everything, but since we had lunch just three hours prior, we had to be mindful. The Botanical was the perfect choice to end our meal. The chocolate mousse coated in chocolate was just the right amount of sweet, not overwhelming at all. Paired with ice cream and toffee sauce, every spoonful had us saying "mmmmm.""

"The service at this restaurant was excellent. However, the food was extremely disappointing. The "chips" were actually bland chunks of potato, the meatballs were undercooked, and the overall dining experience was terrible. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"Popped in for some food before a gig in town. The fixed menu at £11.95 for two courses excellent value and it wasn’t basic dishes I had calamari and steak bavette with rocket/basil/Parmesan. Couple of draught beers that weren’t on the menu that were worth checking out. A lager and a hoppier version as well. The location of the restaurant right at Momument ideal for a grab of food on a night out. Service was sometimes less attentive than it could be but overall a nice meal to start the night with."

"Staff were really friendly and found me a table in the bar area on a busy Saturday night. Service was attentive and my vegetarian lasagne and brownie were delicious, as was the raspberry muddle cocktail. I was too late for the earlybird deal, but even so it was reasonably priced. "I've been here twice. It's clearly popular with queues outside. The food is nice enough for the price. I've only had the breakfast items. Staff reception is so so. Some of the waitresses are very nice and friendly, others are so so. I was told off today that no laptops allowed at the weekend. I'm surprised they didnt tell me I couldn't look at my phone. I was on my own looking for some food and to do some holiday planning not allowed. An hour limit would have been a much nicer compromise and given thier slow service I could have got what I needed done on my laptop before the food arrived rather than using my phone and notebook. Probably won't be coming back again."

"I booked at 14:30 on Wednesday, and i was a bit worried to find no one inside the restaurant, i took courage pills and ordered minute steak which comes with roasted potatoes, i was surprised to find the order ready after 5 min. The potatoes were dark in colour and the steak was chewy ..it was really obvious that the food is not fresh at all and im confident its reheated. The waiters were not friendly and i had to wait for 10 min. to get noticed when i wanted the bill despite of being alone in the restaurant! Avoid"

"The reservation was not recorded in the booking diary, and our requests were not fulfilled. The sea bass was overcooked and watery. An incorrect second main dish was served, and we were charged for it. The correct main dish, chicken, was extremely dry, and a cold sauce was provided in a futile attempt to salvage it. The drinks were just mediocre. A service charge of 12.5% was automatically added to the bill, requiring us to manually calculate the total cost. The servers were okay, but they didn't take our order accurately and seemed confused when I asked for a celebratory candle or shot to be brought out. While the atmosphere was nice, the food and service did not live up to expectations."

"My wife and I were down in London to see a show and stayed over in Hammersmith and I'd found this place beforehand and had booked a table and good job I had, every table was taken and they were turning people away all evening. We shared the pizza focaccia bread to start, which was lovely, soft and warm and served with olive oil and balsamic, to dip into. My wife then had the seafood tagliolini dish and said it was the best pasta dish she's ever had and she loves pasta and regularly has it when we got out, so that is high praise. The prawns were proper big and meaty and the crab soft and she said every mouthful was a fishy taste sensation. Often with this type of dish the primary taste is tomatoes and the fish plays second fiddle but not here. I had the fillet steak in a peppercorn sauce with rosemary potatoes and a rocket and parmesan salad. I'd asked for my steak medium and it was spot on, cooked to perfection. Peppercorn sauce probably wouldn't be my first choice (blue cheese would) but this sauce was lovely, yes it had peppercorns in it but it was a hint, not overwhelming and detracting from the steak. The rosemary potatoes were lovely too and whilst a rocket and parmesan salad might be a simple dish and difficult to get wrong, it is possible but this was great too and went perfectly with my meal. My only slight criticism, and I haven't marked them down over it, as that would be unfair, because the meal was good, is that my Cacciari's handcrafted beer wasn't cold enough, barely cold even and it needed to be, so a tip for them, try to make sure your beer is cold. My glass of Chiaretto Del Garda on the other hand, was perfectly chilled and quaffable. Also, the service was impeccable, attentive but not intrusive, just how it should be. We've commented to ourselves about restaurants before, that those that seem to have a maitre d or someone who just has that all seeing eye, are so good and stand out from the crowd, well done. Would I go again, too right I would, would I recommend it, without hesitation but make sure you book. Dined 25th November."

"We reserved a table weeks ahead, then seated 10 mins late. Waited for over an hour for very simple dishes, (longest wait time for a large shared dish on menu is stated 40mins). No apology for this long wait, steak was overcooked: asked for medium and got well done. Ordered 10oz steak, definitely was smaller than this as we compared to 5 oz steak. Finally, they added a compulsory service charge for party of 2, in reality service was terrible. DO NOT RECOMMEND, very overpriced for what it is."

"First time coming to this restaurant and won't be the last. Place is small but very nice and clean. Staff are very good and It's a family run restaurant. atmosphere is romantic with the old school classics playing on the speaker. There is a small wait in-between courses but it's worth the wait. I ordered calamari as a starter and my wife picked brushetta, both starts are very good and very nice presented, as a mains we picked chicken breast in a creamy sauce with a potatoes and salad on the side. My wife had the fillet steak with gorgonzola. Overall very great experience. "We absolutely adore Cinnabar - it's our go-to spot for lunch. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is great, and the food is always delicious and reasonably priced. They are always willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions. I highly recommend trying their Mac and Cheese Burger. Overall, I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect score of 5. The average price per person is between £20-£30 for lunch."

"It seems we chose a quiet night to dine there, being midweek, but the restaurant still had a nice atmosphere. Menu choice was ample and the food was very enjoyable seafood linguine and chicken saltimbocca as our main courses. But what made the evening most enjoyable was Joanne, the waitress who was absolutely charming and could not do enough to please us despite her serving every single table in the restaurant that evening. What a delight she is, and hopefully a much treasured and appreciated member of Carluccio’s Chester team."

"I had previously visited the sister steakhouse, but I was always interested in trying the charcuterie side. Finally, I booked a reservation for Saturday. We decided to order the Duo charcuterie board and our wonderful server explained a few changes from the menu and answered our questions. The cheeses, meats, chutneys, salads, pickles, and bread that came with it were all incredibly delicious and just the right amount for the two of us. We also enjoyed a fantastic Malbec wine and excellent Cornish Orchards cider on draft, which was the perfect ending to a very enjoyable experience!"

"This place served decent food. We attended just after 4 pm and it was not too crowded. The Seafood Linguini was nice and I appreciated the way in which it was presented. There could have been more King Prawns and Squids. I do concede that these items are expensive, but the price for meal was significant. The Chefs prepare the meals in the open, which is nice to look at, although this must be intimidating for them. I would have likely to have watched them more closely, but I did not want to stare. Additionally, I am concerned that some of the items on the menu are labelled as “vegetarian” when they are not. For example, Parmesan cheese is not a vegetarian item. In relation to the menu, the 7 Cheeses Pizza is presented as a vegetarian item, but the ingredients speak otherwise. Parmesan cheese uses an enzyme which is found in the lining of a goat’s or a calf’s stomach. I am not a Vegetarian, so my concern is for others who have made a significant commitment not to consume any meat products. The menu itself has lots of wonderful items, but it is prudent for some things to be raised. The Server made an error in the order. People make mistakes and one of the other members of staff spoke to us about it. The Server apologised sincerely for the error. It was rectified immediately. Yes, I concede that mistakes can be made but it is also equally important as to how they are dealt with and the members of staff dealt with it immediately and efficiently."

"So this is my fav restaurant ever ..and I had booked Kline and mentioned it was for my sons 18th birthday. So let’s start with positive ..the staff are fantastic and bubbly .. But we where placed in a pretty empty restaurant on a tiny table cramped and against a pillar (I actually thought it was a wind up The food ..usually the BEST ever ..but the pizza and mussels where below average ..beer was great but overall it was just flat ..I had asked for a small cake when I ordered but alas nothing ..it breaks my heart that my fav place to go to is not the same ..is it under new management ? No idea but it just doesn’t cut it Again I want to hail the staff as they where great (but again why put me on a tiny table when there where tons of tables Hey ho .."

"Recently Carluccios have changed their menu, and we ordered the steak with rosemary potatoes. This use to come with a side of rocket with balsamic dressing and Parmesan shavings. Which was delicious. It now comes as plain rocket on its own which basically tastes of nothing. So we asked for our usual dressing to be told it’s not on the new menu and this is the way it comes now! Please what is a bit of dressing that completely transforms the flavour! Disappointed and probably won’t order the steak again …. The most expensive item on the menu! All because of a minimal touch of putting dressing on something"

"VERY EXPENSIVE. We had a small meal, which came to £95. This is probably the worst value restaurant I have ever been to in London. A small beer is £5 (which costs about 70p). The main courses of a very basic Bolognese were £15 each, for a small plate. I cannot think of a worse value-for-money that I’ve ever been to. And we eat out across the city 5 nights of the week, every week. Service was good. Polite and friendly young lady served us. She was sweet and looked after us. But yes, the plates/bags/glassware was all branded, which is what the customer is paying for. Also, £3 for a small jug of soda water from the tap behind the bar. Not even a branded bottle. The food was decent, but the price we paid…..I would never ever return because I feel like I’ve been frauded, frankly. 3/10 stars, based on price. Will not return. Wild never recommend."
