"Visit canceled. The dinner menu had changed, offering only snacks and light bites. Not all of the outdoor heating was functioning, but we were offered a table indoors. Since the venue had just reopened, this is likely just some teething issues. The service was a bit lacking, but the drinks were reasonably priced. The location is nice and has a pleasant ambiance."

"On a busy Friday night in Brighton I stumbled on Solera. There was a rare outside table and I needed food before a gig… so I sat down and ordered. Going for a bottle of house white Rioja coupled with garlic ‘fries’, fried goats cheese and sherry chorizo I sat back and waited… but only for three minutes for the wine (which is lovely and perfectly acceptable) and another 5-6 mins for the food. Which. Was. Delicious. The fries I’d expected to be chips… but they were lovely little potato cubes covered in a tasty garlic sauce. The Chorizo was generous and sat in a really rich sherry sauce. And the goats cheese… well I could have eaten it all night long!!! This isn’t a ‘cheap as chips option’ but if you want to spoil yourself… this is the place…"

"I was looking forward to trying out this health-conscious café, but unfortunately, the poor service turned my experience into a disappointing one. The staff appeared quite disorganized - after placing our order, another staff member attempted to take it again! My food arrived 10 minutes before my friend's, and he didn't even receive all of his food at the same time. Another table received their drinks before us, despite us ordering first. The table next to us had trouble placing their order and eventually had to go to the counter to do so. My acai bowl was disappointingly watery, more akin to a soup. If it wasn't for the healthy food options, I would rate this establishment with just 1 star."

My sister, who isn't a vegan had one too and she couldn't believe how nice it was. The lady who ran the market stall was very enthusiastic about veganism and was lovely to see her getting the public engaged and trying the samples"

"This was my first experience trying gelato in London, and having ice cream in cold weather was a great feeling that is hard to put into words. Despite the cool weather outside, I suddenly had a craving for ice cream and found myself at this place. I ordered my go-to favorite flavor, chocolate, and it did not disappoint. The place was not very impressive, but since it was empty and I was the only customer, I had the place to myself. The fancy purple decor made me expect a bit more from the place, but maybe having more people around would have improved my overall impression."

"The Northern woman with long brown hair was clearly not a fan of me. Unlike other customers she made me pay upfront, not after, didn’t seat me, didn’t offer alternative milks for me, she DID ask if I wanted any syrups but neglected to say they would be a staggering 50p extra, didn’t bring my drink to my table rather summoning me to get it from her, didn’t provide cream with my scone despite it saying it was served with it. None of the would be an issue but she did it for every single other customer that was entered the place whilst I was there. I found it deeply saddening tbh. The other woman with a blonde bob was lovely though, as was the hot food chef so it’s a localised issue I think."

"Visited the cafe in April. It has a nice feel, generally good service and whilst the food was good quality the prices are still very excessive for the portion sizes and the full package of what is served. The ingredients may well be locally sourced, but alot of other establishments could say the same and for at least a third of these prices. £9 for a bowl of soup is inexplicable and also think it is unfair to ask customers to pay additional for gluten free bread when a great many coastal towns in Kent are fully geared up for GF customers and do not charge extra."

"It's not often I can go somewhere and be pleasantly surprised.I'm also quite annoyed simultaneously. Simply only because I've worked in Allesley for nearly 2 years and not come across this gem of a café.Food: freshly made just for you. The BLT in a wrap is to die for. It may be only 5 ingredients, but it is possible for people to still screw it up. Not so at this café. Perfect.There are also freshly made cakes, which happen to be exceptional. Banoffee cake, lemon meringue, Terry's Chocolate Orange brownies, carrot cake, blondies...Drinks: good selection. All good value. Milkshakes if you fancy them. Lovely freshly made coffee, far nicer than the stuff you get in big chains.Atmosphere: cosy. It's a very small venue but the space is used well. Very friendly staff. A nice place to be.Visit, and enjoy it."

I found out that this caffe is known before location because it has terrible customer service and that the two owners here moved out of America so that they could come away with under normal American cooking. the food was so bad (boiled) we had to give it back and the cook refused to cook our meal again. after a lot of fear about how we don't want to eat raw food, he then took our teller and literally eating in a dry tub and then returned to us 'eton mess' style. we were crushed. then he started yelling at us and then leaving us. he's making it all the time! "I was desperate for porridge after a month of travelling so we ended up at Farm Girl. Cute location above Sweaty Betty. The porridge was delicious but the drinks were a bit overpriced. The oats were gluten free (bonus) as well as vegan. There were a few vegan and vegetarian options included as well as vegan snacks near the counter."

"I recently returned to this restaurant after more than 20 years. I remembered it as a clean, well-lit place adorned with pictures of Princess Diana and letters from her to the cafe owners. However, the current state of the restaurant can only be described as faded. The leather seats are in terrible condition and many of the photos have faded from sunlight exposure. The service was also disappointing. The waitress forgot my order for a salad, orange juice, and tap water, only remembering after I reminded her after ten minutes. The food was average and the waitress inexplicably shared a personal story about a wound on her hand. During my meal, I noticed an ant on my table. It took a long time for the bill to arrive, and I was eager to leave. This experience made me realize that some memories are best left untouched. I have no intention of returning to this place. It seems that the owners are still capitalizing on the Diana connection but neglecting to invest in improvements such as new seating or better staff training."
