"The espresso bar on the 10th floor is an absolute nightmare. Shame as the view is spectacular as long as you don’t order anything. I tried to get a coffee I confirmed the order twice and the woman came and grabbed the coffee as I was about to drink saying they got it wrong and gave me another one with half the milk missing. I asked if I can have more milk she said no, I asked if they run out or something and she just mumbled and left. I taste it and it’s not what I order I go back to the counter I tell them, the guy says no it is, I say it doesn’t taste like it, he says it’s their coffee, I say I can’t drink it he says ok. That’s it, no attempt or interest in helping and it really was not drinkable. I left very upset and disappointed.. won’t be going back again despite the view. The restaurant boasts a vast interior that makes excellent use of a building that might seem uninviting from the outside but is truly striking once you enter.

Tate Modern is the perfect spot to enjoy a coffee in the late afternoon before closing time and taking a break. Relaxing on a sofa with a cappuccino and a muffin from their menu is especially delightful during cool sunsets, watching the city start to light up.

It's a pity that at Tate Modern, the staff aren't very friendly when it comes to language. They speak to you as if you were English and don’t take the time to repeat or explain, which was quite surprising. The menu could be more accessible for non-English speakers. View menu

The restaurant at Tate Modern has been redesigned to provide more spacious galleries and a broader selection of artwork. Dining here offers a unique experience, boasting spectacular views of the Thames River and St. Paul's Cathedral. The friendly staff serve food and drinks promptly, with a menu that includes a variety of tasty, contemporary dishes to suit every palate. Overall, the Tate Modern restaurant is a must-visit destination for both art lovers and food enthusiasts.

Whenever I return to London, I can’t resist crossing the Millennium Bridge and stepping into the vibrant atmosphere I’ve loved from the very beginning. Tate Modern’s café, located on the first floor, offers a spectacular viewpoint perfect for taking photos, alongside a varied menu featuring smoothies and other delights. On the third floor, the express bar includes two terraces overlooking the Thames, providing stunning views that are not to be missed. The sight of this beautiful bridge with St. Paul’s Cathedral in the background remains one of my favorite scenes in London.
