"Have been here before, and it's a great location, with a nice atmosphere. Enjoyed a few weisbeers and some tasty food with a couple of old friends on a pleasant Friday evening. The staff were friendly, helpful and polite, even when asking us to move to another table to finish our drinks outside after we'd eaten, so they could prepare the table for the next service. One of our waiters followed up within a couple of minutes to return my phone to me which I'd left on my chair, which was very much appreciated. Will definitely come back again, and recommend it."

"I have been searching for a unique dining experience to complement my short holiday, and this restaurant was exactly what I was looking for. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was ideal, and I appreciated that the room maintained a traditional tea room vibe without feeling overly upscale. The staff's professional demeanor added to the overall excellent experience. The only constructive criticism I have is that the tables were low and there was limited space. My table felt a bit exposed, but I personally prefer being tucked away in a corner. Nonetheless, being low to the ground made it a bit awkward when the waiter was towering over me."

"Excellent three course meal.... Thoroughly enjoyed our meal, start to finish. We had calimari, halloumi, chicken shish and baklava, each course was amazing, the service was great, it was lunchtime so fairly quiet but lady serving was attentive and helpful..... If I hadn't just nailed a pizza, I could easily have buried my face in one of the delightful cakes displayed at the counter, but instead, I amused myself with a coffee or two. "Four of us went to this restaurant for lunch. We started with coffee, which was extremely hot and almost undrinkable. This was a basic mistake. When we ordered lunch, I requested the Tuna salad, only to be informed after 15 minutes that it was not available. It would have been more efficient if the waitress had mentioned this before we ordered. I ended up getting a chicken Caesar salad instead, but it was lacking in chicken and had a strange taste. It was probably the worst Caesar salad I've had in a long time. When we ordered desserts, we were told that there were no Cannolis available. I settled for an Affogato, which was also disappointing. Overall, Carluccio's is usually a reliable choice, but on this occasion, we experienced higher prices and a decrease in quality and service."

"My partner and I had a negative experience for the second time at this restaurant. The first time, I brushed it off, but after Saturday night, I had to write a review. The service for drinks was extremely slow, waiting around 20 minutes for a round of 4 drinks (beer, cocktail, and 2 gins) despite there being plenty of staff. This shouldn't happen when you are paying premium prices. We had to send back 3 cocktails because they tasted sour. We settled our bill of just over £100 just before 9:30. When asked if we wanted another drink, we ordered but never received them. When I inquired about our drinks, I was told they closed the bar at 9:30. Why were we offered drinks then? Why didn't someone inform us instead of leaving us waiting? The staff's excuse was that the member serving us may not have known. All staff should be aware of the rules. We won't be coming back."

"Quant eatery in Telford situated just outside the shopping centre. Tastefully decorated with a very ambient atmosphere with an extensive and not too expensive menu. This venue allows dogs in and even has a watering and feeding station for them and on the occasions I have visited, has been busy with people of all ages. "After a Saturday morning conference at Balliol, I expected to eat something at Ashmolean coffee, but there was no opportunity to have all the tables. So I came back from where I came from, hoping to find a place to eat while heading for Cornmarket. Everywhere it seemed to be busy, so I decided to go to a territory unknown by a small street, which is where I quickly found the coffee. The smoking area was empty, and I could see that there were also several seats available inside, so I came in.It wasn't clear if it was table service, that was, so I went to the counter, scanned the ceiling menu and asked for a tuna and cheese panini. You can't go too bad with that. There was no freshly squeezed orange juice, even though I was on the menu, but I was headed to an orange juice bottle in the fridge. That should do... The panini arrived quite quickly, and the service was kind. And I could see the BBC News channel while I was taking a few minutes of what would otherwise be a busy day. I'd love to show up again."
