"I came here on Wednesday afternoon and despite the fact it was well past lunchtime, the place was still packed. If I hadn't just nailed a pizza, I could easily have buried my face in one of the delightful cakes displayed at the counter, but instead, I amused myself with a coffee or two. I started with a double espresso and finished with a black coffee. What?! I hadn't had my morning coffee fix! It's no surprise that the coffee was rich and deliciously deep in flavour because at Patisserie Valerie, they serve Illy coffee, which as far as I'm concerned, is the best brand going. I was a little envious of those at the table next to me as they tucked into their chocolate muffin and...read more"

their pâtisseries are very average and unfortunately cannot be compared with the competition patis series. very good location and good drinks ..

average taste compared to other patisseries in london. the brownie was too sweet, and the tee came cold. the place is clean and personal friendly.

Just a normal place, not much inviting. Bad service, high prices. I ordered a French croissant with butter and they didn't even put the butter in it. Luckily it was very good..

Taste: it is okay but very sweet. Personally I don’t like very sweet pastries but if you don;t mind you will like it. However, I think they overdone it with the icing as the apple sauce is very sweet already. The pastry is ok and does not standone compared to any other Danish View menu

absolutely the worse service ever. we sat, waited for 15 minutes and just left because nobody took our orders. the waiter has simply forked and taken away knife instead of taking our commands, although we tried to get his attention. you expect from such an overpriced place as this better.

Patisserie Valerie in Covent garden used to be one of my favourite treat spots. Now on my visit to London I see they are everywhere! I stopped in after a tour of East London and had the classic mousse cake, it was hard to choose what to have but the cake was delicious and didn't disappoint!

It's a cold dull morning and my hunt for the best coffee in London is still on. I went here to meet a colleague and it was nice and quiet. They ran out of the butter croissants so I settled for almond, which wasn't great. The cappuccino was good, strong. I liked the painted wall (pic attached) Will go back for dessert and a proper English breakfast. View menu

The chicken skewers came on a delicious bed of salad that included olives, peppers, rocket and onion. The chicken was juicy and generously served. The Caesar salad was huge, with two whole breasts served on toasted bread. The creamy sauce was nice and thick although personally a little too heavy for a lunch salad. The Panini which was customised to suit our colleagues taste with additional red onion and extra cheese which came out crispy yet gooey on the inside and was served with a simple side salad.

my companion needed a baby-friendly space for her descending and patisserie valerie supplies high chairs. that must be well known because I noticed many baby bugs on the ground. eating was quite good with generous portions, but service was appallingly slow. the kitchen was fast, but it was impossible to find the waiter. there were only two waiters for the whole restaurant to cover each with ridiculously large sections. we had both mushroom soup that was somewhat surprised because the waiter had informed us that the suppe of the day was a mixed sweet soup. the suppe came with toast, but no butter. pretty good, from scratch, not too much looked, that's my...read more

"Disappointed to have booked and not be warned about the mezze being the only available option. Told when sat down. Not much option but to accept. Food great. Tried to charge for each of us there were adults and an year old and year old despite agreeing to do deal for the of them when we ordered. When asked for the bill I was over charged. They didn’t leave bill on table and just tell you the value and present the card machine immediately. I queried and he went to alter. I paid. I realised that in fact they had charged more than the first time. I ended up having to ask for a print out of the bill on my way out. He gave it to me. It wasn’t even our bill plus they’d charged for the set menu!!?!?!!. I wrote down what we had eaten and drank and we added it up properly together and he had indeed overcharged by He couldn’t refund the card and so gave cash. Lush food. If you go please check what’s on offer before you go. Then insist that the bill if left on your table like in a normal restaurant. This gives the customer the time to check all is well before paying. I really felt the chap was trying to pull the wool over our eyes. Don’t let them! He did the same to another table which had a couple and a young child of about or Charged The excuse was that he couldn’t deduct dine in because we only wanted set menus. Rubbish. We have eaten out all month in the scheme in restaurant in bristol and in central London and this is the only time I’ve heard this tosh. Chap could put whatever he wanted into the till ...it’s his restaurant. of us dined. x to come of bill. I found the whole invoicing experience poor and embarrassing."
