"Having taken the River boat to Docklands and visited both the National Gallery and the NPG, we were ready for tea. I was keen to take daughter and her friend visiting from Boston to a special place and I remembered how great the view is...over the National's rooftops and how the light fading as London lights up gives this restaurant an extra dimension. The young ladies were so fascinated to have a better view of Nelson across the skyline. Delicious delicate sandwiches and tiny macaroons and delicacies all served on one of those three-tier plates. My sister and I had one in our dollhouse but never actually to use at home so remains a special treat!"

" Portrait Gallery, you can enjoy panoramic views of Trafalgar Square and beyond while dining on delicious food. The staff were attentive and friendly, and the overall experience was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in London."

"Really nice healthy eating café in Chelsea with plenty of vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free options. Really fresh ingredients and high quality ingredients and tasty sauces. Well worth the price over salads from other chains Pret etc). On this visit we had a Good Life Salad £11.75) and a Chicken Man Bowl. Both were delicious. The Kale in the Good Life Salad was the tastiest crispiest fresh kale I’ve tasted. My husband had a delicious coffee and I had one of their fresh juice The Lucky 7 which is beetroot based and super-tasty. The venue is good and more seating than the Marylebone branch and lighter and brighter) and wasn’t too busy when we visited mid-afternoon on a Monday. There is also some seating outside on the pavement of Sloane Avenue. Really like their menu and as a healthy eating vegetarian this is one of my favourite lunch places in London. Only disappointment was the brownie which was nice tasting but very dry. It had clearly been cooked too long/or been on the shelf for too long. I spoke to the staff and it was noted re the quality and they gave us a refund as the other one they had was similar."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"My friend really enjoyed their burger, but the spicy chicken wings I ordered were quite disappointing. They had a kind of stale taste, as if they'd been fried once and then fried again. I'm not sure what the issue was, but they didn't meet my expectations, especially considering the price. The chips were decent, though. On a positive note, the staff was friendly, and there was a good selection of non-alcoholic beverages."

"I had a wonderful experience at this cafe with amazing coffee, tea, cakes, and meals. I went for breakfast/brunch on a Sunday morning and was highly impressed by the variety and quality of the menu. The service was exceptional and the freshly ground coffee was delicious. I tried a unique option, the rose and beetroot latte, which was surprisingly tasty. The eggs royale I ordered was perfect, with poached eggs, fresh muffins, and delicious salmon and hollandaise sauce. Overall, this is a great spot for light bites, coffee, and more."

"I sat downstairs on a busy Friday night with two friends. The service was perfect. The receptionist was charming. Our waitress was attentive and skilful. We sat at a large communal table. She made helpful suggestions as we chose from the menu, kept our glasses topped up, produced all the dishes on time and was super efficient with our bill. I paid for a bottle of wine and we split the food bill. She gave us 4 separate bills without being asked to. The food was fine, the atmosphere civilised, exactly what you want on a relaxed night out"

"My friend and I decided to go to Notting Hill for breakfast and after walking around for a bit we decided on Farm Girl. Big mistake. Initially we walked in and were seated quickly, it had a nice atmosphere and so far everyone seemed friendly. After being seated, a small card stated the menu was online and could be viewed using a QR code, which is a great way to move forward in hospitality to avoid paper wastage but you might want to think twice about this option when your building has no cell service and your free 'wifi ' works slower than my grandma climbing the stairs at 95. Our order was taken, we weren 't asked about any allergies (which we both had but ordered carefully), the food arrived quickly but my god... We get it, everything 's expensive in London but £14.50 for TWO pancakes with a spoonful of mashed up cherries and £10.50 for a slice of bread with some avocado?! RIDICULOUS! The tables next to us were also complaining at the prices of their breakfast once the food arrived and realised how appalling the portions are. My friend and I love supporting smaller businesses and expect to pay slightly more in support of these, but this was just atrocious. Not one server had returned to the table to check if our food was alright or if we wanted anything else. Once finished, we actually managed to access the QR code to pay the bill and a service charge had been placed ontop of the already extortionate amount. Now as someone who has worked in hospitality myself for 4 years, I 'm more than happy to pay service charge as well as leaving cash tips. Not this time. Paying service charge would 've meant we 'd actually been served, we hadn 't. My friend asked for the service charge to be removed to which the waiter nodded then went back to the till, bad mouthed us to his coworker who turned around to look at us both (making uncomfortable eye contact) he then returned and we paid straight away. My friend and I both left straight away, thanking the staff but we were blanked completely. Note to farm girl: sort yourself out, you may be popular with tourists but eventually you 'll be out of business."

"Awful. The experience was ruined by a waitress who was unnecessarily officious about how long we needed the table for, whether we needed all of our chairs and then incorrectly telling us that we’d only reserved the table for a certain period of time. I knew this was incorrect because I had a receipt of the online booking on my phone. She just wanted our table for another booking, I’d imagine. Then, as we left, she sarcastically pointed at her watch because we hadn’t been able to be precise about when we were going to leave. Frankly, we’d hated the experience and were glad to be leaving for somewhere else with a better atmosphere. It was truly appalling customer service. We all felt like this waitress was nagging us about chairs and how long we needed the table all throughout our time there. I could not relax. Really bad. Would not recommend this place at all."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem located at Victoria Station. I have walked by it many times without noticing it. I finally booked a reservation last minute for a farewell party and didn't know what to expect. The staff were extremely accommodating and the prices for both drinks and food were reasonable. The atmosphere was clean and pleasant, with ample space and not too crowded."

"from the website the pipeline looks like a cool rock n roll bar, but as they go into it not sure they have the right place. it looks a bit like a zagged all bar one with bankers playing pool in a corner and slot machine next to a huge jaeger flag in the other. Metal music plays loudly over the head, while scuzz on the television (hallo, emo-jugend) is to round it off, a group of young kerle go in the question whether the football is. oh, and they serve Japanese street food here, just to add the atmosphere. yes they should be a good choice and not the worst institution I have ever visited, but this place must decide what it is."

"Loved the cool decor. Nice furnishings and a light airy space. A comfortable casual feel. I visited first for an excellent cappuccino in the morning prior to visiting Kew Gardens (the coffee is much better here). There also were gorgeous cakes including an amazing lemon meringue pie. Pleasant, friendly efficient staff. I returned for lunch. The choice is very varied and their very modern breakfasts are available all day. I opted for folded eggs (a large portion of sort of folded very thin omlette), with roasted tomatoes and feta and smoked salmon sides. All were very generous portions. Their house rose was very good and well priced. I would definitely return."

"This restaurant is terrible. They charged me £7.95 for a pint and when I asked why, they showed me a notice saying they can do that during special events. How is that fair? I had just been in Canary Wharf where pints were around £6-£6.50. They consider any night with a sports game on TV as an event. I will not be returning to this place."

"The ambiance and decor at The Wet Fish are enchanting, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere for a truly enjoyable dining experience. The attention to detail in the decor and overall atmosphere demonstrates the restaurant's commitment to providing a memorable setting. The culinary offerings at The Wet Fish never disappoint. The menu features a curated selection of culinary masterpieces, showcasing a diverse range of flavors and textures. Each dish is a work of art, reflective of the creativity and teamwork behind it. I also highly recommend the concert nights featuring international artists for a more intimate and cozy experience. Amel Thomas and her team have truly created a special dining destination at The Wet Fish."

"I had a wonderful dining experience here, and the portion size for the children's meal was just right. I've often found that kids' meals at other places are too large, leading to a lot of waste, but here the portion was perfect."

"We went as a group of 4, and we all said Food was ok, and reasonable enough prices, but what we found disappointing was that they had no onion loaf left when we tried to order it with out main courses. Would I recommend it, yes if you like ribs they were good, but if you remember the original rib shack restaurant in Knightsbridge and are hoping this is going to be similar, unfortunately you will be disappointed !"

"I went with a friend for afternoon tea. I had requested pastries rather than cakes and we were provided with those. It was very busy that afternoon but the staff kept us informed and anyway we were in no hurry. The prosecco was great as was the Earl Grey tea and coffee. The sandwiches were good and the selection of types. Plenty of good cream and jam. Whilst the scones were warm and fresh I did find them a bit stodgy and a little bland like they were missing something. We both ate the scones. Of course neither of us could eat all the pastries but we provided with a box and I took them home and my husband who ate all of them. I will be going again as I have already booked another afternoon tea for the 29th of April."
