"Came here for a Punk night as a colleague of mine is the lead singer of a band called Idle Bones. I asked my partner if she 'd like to come and she agreed. We had a pre-drink to prepare and made our way there. We had just made it in time to see a band called Credentials, They wore balaclavas and jumped around like madmen. I very much enjoyed them especially a song they played called Mustard . After their moshy set we all headed downstairs for a cigarette and a beer. Everyone was in high spirits and the credential team all took off their balaclavas and tried to cool down from their fiery set. Next up was the headliners.. Idle Bones! I needed a good spot and made it back a bit later so was at the back but managed to jump on a chair to get a good view. They played a great set with some of my favourites being Eleven and Nothing important happened today . Brett Zero threw some T-shirts out mid-set but I missed out on those. They had a good long set and jumped into the mosh pit at the end. After the set, I went down for a cigarette and watched all the punks talking about previous gigs and how good it had been this evening. I chatted with some people and waited for Brett to come down. One of my colleagues told me the toilets were the worst he 's ever been to so I journeyed their myself and they weren 't too bad I think he just wasn 't used to pub toilets. The Idles Bones team came down and got a picture with the other bands that played. All in all, good night will be back for some more punky gigs."

We went here for some food and a drink and the staff were friendly and the food was amazing! Will definitely be back! Great menu choices and the best vegan cheezy chips I’ve ever had

Partner lead me here for dinner. Vegan menu, really great. I had the fish burger, could have fooled me. Nice chips, craft lager was good. I like this place, a real rocker’s dive bar.

Turned up for a gig, came all the way from the Isle Of Wight with my partner and found out the landlord had double booked the venue, was never offered any compensation. Won't be frequenting this venue again as the landlord seems to change plans according to his friends View menu

The vegan meal we had at The Pipeline was amazing! I had the Joan Jett burger and my partner had the Janice Joplin kebab wrap. We also had 'cheesy ' fries, sweet potato fries and onion rings. Everything was cooked to perfection. The onion rings were the best we have ever had! I highly recommended eating here whether you are a vegan or not! Pub food at its best, whether you are vegan, vegetarian like me or a meat eater like my partner you will love this vegan menu!

Headed down to The Pipeline in Brighton to see a friends band play. It’s a bar, come vegan restaurant, with more smallish rooms upstairs where the bands play. All a bit snug, as many of the venues in the Laines are, but this was downright tight. Took a while to get served but good local beers on offer. Some vege and vegan food and you can sit outside and watch the while go by, but in this evening there was a smell of drains so we went for a meal elsewhere. (Sorry). Friendly and quirky place though and right by the Laines NCP car park so an easy one to visit. The bands were good.

Originally booked just for food, the completely vegan menu with music themed names sold it to us. We had the Stevie Nicks and Janis Joplin, they were both vegan chicken themed items. These were freshly cooked and tasted amazing, good portion sizes so we weren't hungry afterwards. Chips were amazing also! But then the service staff were incredible, due to COVID they had to take orders from the table, but they were eagle eyed and didn't leave you waiting. They weren't pushy either, just polite and happy to grab you a drink. Spent the whole night there, the music was solid and even live bands were streaming upstairs so it was an amazing sense of normality. If in Brighton give it ago! View menu

I recently came as my friend was doing a gig the barman on shift was incredible polite and well mannered he was on a trail shift however his manger was one of the rudest bar staff I have ever met. The way he spoke to his staff was poor the way he spoke to his customers was even worse. the staff knocked a full pint of beer over on me not ideal but he apologized and said that he would get his manager. not wanting to make a big deal or have the chap in trouble I did say that i wasn't that upset (just assumed as he knocked it over he would be replacing it as it was a full pint) I was put on the spot and basically told if its his fault i will let me go now as he is saying differently do i need to...

Very chilled place with good food, good service, and a good background of music playing (any selection that spans from mid 80s The Replacements to mid 90s i found. This place had a good vibe and the bar is big enough we never had to wait long to be served. When I looked at the beer selection I was surprised and pleased beer I really enjoyed and others I had not tried! I am a self admitted beer snob, If i dont like the taste of something, I wont drink it. The food is delicious, My pals and I were more than happy with what we got, great spot to meet with friends, unlike when it was in London you cannot play some pool, Slam some pinball, only grab a bite to eat before heading out for the night,...
