"only returned from a beautiful week in y a and it was perfect in every sight! we were in a superior room that had a lot of space for the 2 of us. the bathroom was huge to london standards) and the floor heating was fantastic, after the move to return london for the day. breakfast every morning was wonderful, like the flat white ones! we only upgraded one tomorrow, as the continental offer was so impressive! the most beautiful fruit salads, the yogurt with granola and fruit-comonate....almost the trip alone worth it! y a was the perfect basis for tour london, we found ourselves most often rides, as the look of the second level was fantastic! buses to take us where we wanted to go were no longer that 2 blocks away. after a busy day in the inner city of london it was so pleasant to be back in relatiw quiet location of camden town in just 20-30 minutes. the return to the same few faces at the reception and our little boutique hotel made the london experience so intimate. with so many places to eat we have only eaten one night in y a. we chose pizza from the wood burning stove. I was a bit embarrassing to be that the guest is asked to sit in the less formal pizza salon instead of the formal dining room and the personal was happy to accommodate! the pizza was fantastic as you are expected! and huge! we ordered 2 but you would have been perfect for the exchange. many thanks to the entire team at y a! they have made our trip perfect! "Yesterday afternoon, I visited The Orange Pub for the first time. It had been on my list for a while due to all the great things I’d heard about their food. Unfortunately, the poor service has left me unwilling to return. Our group of six was served by a waitress who, despite not using a notepad to take orders, managed to get one of the drink orders wrong in the first round, though she did apologize for it. When it came to the main course, she still didn't write anything down. Five people at our table received their meals, while I waited around 20 minutes for mine. When the waitress eventually approached, she informed me that I would have to wait even longer. I asked how much longer, but instead of answering, she walked away. Later, she asked my tablemates what I had ordered—while I was in the bathroom—clearly forgetting my meal, which could’ve been avoided if she had just used a notepad. A friend had to ask about my food again as I continued waiting. Despite knowing she had forgotten my order, the waitress only apologized to my friend, who had raised the issue, not to me directly. The constant uncertainty around my meal became a major distraction throughout lunch. Half the time I watched five people eat, and the other half, they watched me. The experience was frustrating and completely avoidable. The staff handled the situation poorly, and I never received a direct apology or any gesture, like a snack or drink, to make up for the delay. It's such a shame, because the food was fantastic."

"As a Spaniard myself, I wanted to take my friend to a Spanish restaurant, so after a visit to the V&A museum, we went to this place. We didn’t have a reservation, however we were quickly placed on a table inside. The service was fast, we were attended by 4 different members of the staff during our meal, but all of them were nice. We ordered some dishes to share, since I wanted her to try different things. Be aware that the portions are tiny. We literally got 3 croquetas, 4 prawns in garlic sauce, 2 small eggs with a bit of pisto, and some mussels. Except for the mussels, everything was delicious. The mussels on the other hand, were bland, just boiled, the sauce was tasteless and we didn’t like it. We got 4 small pieces of bread in total, priced at £4, so it was £1 per slice. As a dessert, we had some orange and chocolate cake, which was more like a tart. Apart from the orange on top, it didn’t taste like orange at all, which I didn’t mind, overall it was very nicely prepared. We also had a couple of pacharán. The bill came up to nearly £100, which we thought it was a lot for the amount of food we got. I understand this is London and the restaurant is in one of the poshest areas, but still…Be also aware that VAT is calculated later in the bill, and also service is included, which I’m not a fan of. I have also worked as a waitress when I was younger, so I appreciate the hard work, especially in a busy place like this, but I prefer to decide how much I tip I would like to leave, depending of how good or bad the service is. We both thought, as an experience, it was ok, but we wouldn’t be returning any time soon."

"Came here for a Punk night as a colleague of mine is the lead singer of a band called Idle Bones. I asked my partner if she 'd like to come and she agreed. We had a pre-drink to prepare and made our way there. We had just made it in time to see a band called Credentials, They wore balaclavas and jumped around like madmen. I very much enjoyed them especially a song they played called Mustard . After their moshy set we all headed downstairs for a cigarette and a beer. Everyone was in high spirits and the credential team all took off their balaclavas and tried to cool down from their fiery set. Next up was the headliners.. Idle Bones! I needed a good spot and made it back a bit later so was at the back but managed to jump on a chair to get a good view. They played a great set with some of my favourites being Eleven and Nothing important happened today . Brett Zero threw some T-shirts out mid-set but I missed out on those. They had a good long set and jumped into the mosh pit at the end. After the set, I went down for a cigarette and watched all the punks talking about previous gigs and how good it had been this evening. I chatted with some people and waited for Brett to come down. One of my colleagues told me the toilets were the worst he 's ever been to so I journeyed their myself and they weren 't too bad I think he just wasn 't used to pub toilets. The Idles Bones team came down and got a picture with the other bands that played. All in all, good night will be back for some more punky gigs."
