Went here today for lunch with our very special friends, superb lunch and very good service, not intrusive and plenty of time to chat

We held our Christmas party at this restaurant and the food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and there was plenty of wine available.

a group of ex-collegs enjoyed here a Christmas dinner that we have been making for several years. eating was very good and staff very attentive and friendly.

we came here the day after the death of one of our dear friends and we always came with here the personal, where excellent help through a very disturbing time she gave us a private room and looked us so week. thank you.

our party of about 12 had Christmas dinners in bangers and were well treated by the greeting at the door until the departure. we were served by some different people, although it was never a long waiting period for drinks, and all three courses became. immediately and (mostly) delivered at the same time. if only the quality of the food that corresponded to the service, this would be my new favorite hair. Unfortunately, the main course left me glad that I had filled with the starter on brot, since it was simply not enough, and I ended after a fair part of what was there, as I did not particularly enjoy eating discs of fat. that said the chocolate cake was beautiful and very rich.

We have been booking the back bar at Bangers Moorgate twice a year for the last four years for a corporate charity quiz night. We have always had a good relationship with the bar and have ensured over 80 people attend the functions on a...Weds or Thursday night. The relationship was great, they supplied a venue (and one year donated to the prizes with a bottle of wine) and we brought them additional guaranteed generous customers for 4 hours at least. I enquired about a repeat booking (our 7th I believe) in November and mentioned our past bookings to be told they need £500 security deposit and a £2000 minimum spend contract. every year we come back to lunch. as old retired city chaps this has always kept beautiful memories. Unfortunately, yesterday was a catastrophe. strangely, we had to wash the order from a set menu a few and the story. we had all smoked laughs, which was good. I ordered steak and chips. the steak was ok, but very small, and I counted 7 chips in mine and my friends. a bit dirty green peasant no sneaking offered no sneaking tomato. it was a shame. the service was terrible. I don't think I counted a smile.
